The bathroom features a refreshing rain shower and heated floors during the winter time. Whether you're exploring the city or simply relaxing indoors, you're sure to make fantastic memories with a stay at my place.

This home has a lot of unique treasures, beautiful wooden furniture, artwork and photos of nature. The infrared sauna, hot tub, electric fireplace in the bedroom and a propane fireplace in the living room add a nice relaxing "spa like" charm to this home. This is a great spot for a romantic getaway, honeymoon, birthday celebration, mother/daughter/best friend getaway or just come by yourself and replenish. A young couple recently got engaged here and the young man described the space as a perfect place to propose.

A bit of history:  My Home is over 80 years old, located in Burdett, N Y. Seventeen years ago, I was attracted to its charm, quirks and location near Seneca Lake. Much remodeling and restorations were made 8+ years ago by Brian Beaumont, a local craftsman due to some frozen pipes.  He restored mouldings and completely redid the living room and dining area.  The paint color choices were carefully selected to create a warm, cozy and comfortable feeling.

As for the  furniture.... My father and step-mother owned a beautiful store in Bartonsville, PA. (Poconos) back in the 70's-90's and sold antique reproduction furniture and many other items of interest. The furniture line was made in Georgia, USA, signed and dated called Habersham Country furniture. The bedroom bed frame, nightstands, dining table are part of the collection. The mirrors were created by my mother and came from a Church in Montreal, Canada.

Artwork and Framed Photos.......The paintings you see were painted by my step-mother, Shirley Epstein who has been showing and selling her work in Stroudsburg, Pa. (Poconos) as part of the Art Community for many years. The Photos were taken by my brother, Jack Ion, who resides in picturesque Erie, Pa. Jack takes great pleasure in photographing Erie and on all his travels.

PET STAYS: We welcome ONE well-behaved, house trained dog with a prior approval from the host. This will be subject to pet fee ($40 per night). Dogs must be crated while un-attended. No dogs permitted on furniture. All pet refuse must be cleaned up and thrown in the outside garbage can right by the steps to enter from the driveway. If permission was given for an additional dog, there will be an additional fee of $40 per night for 1 additional dog. Please keep your dog on a leash when outside as there are neighbor dogs sometimes not on a leash.

Located on the 2nd floor. Guests will only have access to the 2nd floor if they book a package. You will have the house to yourself. No one will be upstairs in the spa rooms while you are booked at the house.

THE DRIVEWAY IS SHARED BY GUESTS AND MYSELF. THE HOT TUB DECK IS PRIVATE SO YOU WILL NOT SEE MY HOME FROM THE HOT TUB. I DON'T BELIEVE IT WILL AFFECT YOUR STAY.
