Take in sweeping vistas at Bell Mountain in Hiawassee, a 20-minute drive, or visit Brasstown Bald, Georgia’s highest point, just 25 minutes away. Spend a day on Lake Chatuge with a boat or personal watercraft rental from a local marina. Area rental options include Lake Chatuge Marine, Young Harris Water Sports, Boundary Waters, and Margarita Jacks.

Explore the Nantahala National Forest at Jackrabbit Mountain, 15 minutes from the property, with trails for mountain biking and dog-friendly hiking. For a leisurely outing, the Chatuge Dam Trail, 17 minutes away, offers a paved, dog-friendly path with sweeping lake and mountain views. Fires Creek Recreation Area, a 30-minute drive, is a local favorite for scenic hikes, swimming, and trout fishing.

Across the Georgia border, discover High Shoals Falls Trail, 30 minutes away, or head to Alpine Helen, a 35-minute drive, for a taste of Bavaria in the Blue Ridge Mountains, along with tubing and zip lining.

After a day of exploring, unwind at the restaurants, wineries, and breweries in and around downtown Hayesville and Hiawassee, and savor the area’s local flavor.

* Living room, with plenty of seating Tv is streaming, and a wood burning fireplace
* Dining room has seating for 10 people. Half bath, laundry room, mud room and garage is also on the main floor
* Bedroom #1 King Master bedroom

Third floor:
* Bedroom #2 Queen bedroom with private bath
* Bedroom #3 with 2 twin beds and private bath

Terrace level:
* Kitchenette with full size refrigerator and microwave and regular drip coffee pot and keurig
* Living area with gas fireplace, TV, shuffle board, and checker board
* Bedroom #4 King bedroom with private bath
* Bedroom #5 Queen bedroom with private bath
* Hot tub on terrace

Feel free to enjoy the dock. The owners' boat may be docked at the dock during your stay. It is not part of the rental and is not available for guest use.
If you bring or rent a boat, you're welcome to use the dock. Please be mindful of the water depth when docking, as it can vary depending on lake conditions.
