The home was comfortable, clean, spacious and well-stocked. Generally matched the description & fulfilled our needs. The beautiful pool was definitely the highlight. But figuring out the pool was a real chore. There’s supposed to be a remote for it, but there wasn’t. We had to contact host several times to have them turn on the heater. So, basically they control it. There was no way for us to turn on or use the hot tub part of it. The rest of the outdoor area was disappointing. Patio furniture was awful: dirty, worn, ripped fabric that really needs to be replaced (see photos). There was no light over the main outdoor dining table, so couldn’t use it at night. Also, while it felt private, the house sits right above the freeway, which made it not a very peaceful vibe. Maybe just a LA thing, but was surprising. It was also virtually impossible to figure out how to work the TVs. The property guide needs more clear instructions. Luckily we were there for work & didn’t need them. The coffee maker was missing the coffee pot, which wasn’t ideal lol.Overall, it’s a great property if you need 8 BRs and a lot of space for a group/family gathering. It just needs to be better managed. The guy who let us in was clearly unfamiliar with the property and left us to figure things out on our. On the flip side, they were very flexible with scheduling when to meet us to be let in…and allowed us to check out late since our flights were in the afternoon. That was appreciated.
