Charme, 5 Schlafzimmer, Strand-Häuschen auf familienfreundliche Groton Long Point entfernt. Es bietet alles, was Sie sich auf einen entspannenden Connecticut Shore Ferien erwarten würde, mit atemberaubendem Blick auf Fisher Island und Long Island Sound, die Ihnen den Atem rauben wird. Das Hotel befindet sich 5 Minuten vom historischen Mystic und weniger als 2 Stunden von Boston, 2 1/2 Stunden von NYC.

Im Jahr 2010 haben wir komplett renoviert unser geliebtes Ferienhaus. Unser Ziel war es, ohne sacificing seinen traditionellen Charme Hütte zu aktualisieren. Wir denken, dass Sie kommen, um diesen besonderen Ort, wie so viele Generationen unserer Freunde und Familie lieben, bevor Sie.

Unsere Familie benutzt das Haus für ungefähr den halben Sommer, aber es vermietet es für die restlichen Wochen an Familien oder kleine Gruppen, die das Haus mit Respekt behandeln werden und der unsere Nachbarn und unsere lokalen Verordnungen respektieren wird.
Es ist auch während der Rest des Jahres bei wesentlich reduzierten Preisen erhältlich.

Beautifully updated yet charming beachfront property

Loved our stay at GLP!

The house was great for our family (including small kids). Perfect location on the water, comfortable setup with AC, good wifi etc. Lots of separate bedrooms so everyone could spread out. Excellent sunrises from the porch, and great views all day over the sound. Host Cal was very friendly.

We rented this home for my son’s graduation from USCGA. This was the perfect house, perfect setting and perfect neighborhood. I definitely recommend this property. Cal couldn’t have been nicer. We had a great week!

Wonderful stay!!

We had an amazing vacation at GLP! The house accommodated our whole extended family and the location right by the beach was perfect. We could go in and out throughout the day without any trouble and never had a problem with enough space on the beach. The outdoor shower was a giant hit with our crew! The house is a short walk from the GLP Casino where we often went for coffee in the morning or ice cream after dinner. Jenny and Cal (and the neighbors) were so helpful checking on us and offering suggestions. We would love to come back in the future!

CGA Graduation

Cal’s house was perfect for family attending our son’s graduation from the Coast Guard Academy - great location, with beautiful views of Long Island Sound from practically every room. The house is well appointed and convenient to CGA and Mystic. Cal was very responsive and gave us some great recommendations for places to eat. We would most definitely love to rent this house again if we’re in the area. Thank you Cal!

Awesome accommodations!

Cal and Jenny’s House was perfect for our Multi generational group. Comfortable Groton Long point style with everything we needed. We spent many hours sitting on the porch swing enjoying beautiful views of the ocean. The sandy beach in front of us was perfect for the kids wether they were paddle boarding, floating on floats or hunting for crabs. Convenient to the “casino” snack bar. playground and other beaches. Cal and Jenny where very responsive to our needs. All in all a perfect stay!

Amazing vacation

We have fallen in love with Groton Long Point and with Cal and Jennifer’s house. Amazing views and great for 2 family’s with 4 kiddos. We will have these memories forever and can not wait to return. Cal greeted us when we got there and was very helpful with even recommendations for food and events. I can’t sing my praises of this vacation enough!!

Awesome House and Location on Groton Long Point

Great location and the house was perfect for a large family vacation. We cooked every evening utilizing the large completely equipped kitchen and the outdoor grill. Steaks, burgers, lobster, shrimp... all that New England has to offer. Plenty of family living space downstairs and the bedrooms were all very comfortable. The owner was very responsive and met us at the house when we arrived. A great vacation. We will be back soon.

Perfect location!

We stayed here for a wedding, and could not have chosen a better location/home. The house was so spacious, with 4 rooms (plenty of sleeping space), large kitchen/dining area, and the view is absolutely breathtaking, right on the water. The owner was very nice and showed us around the house and made some great local restaurant recommendations. I highly recommend this house to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for making us feel at home!

We stayed here for our son's graduation from Coast Guard Academy. We couldn't have enjoyed the house more and the owner was more than accommodating. The views are indescribable! The house is very comfortable. The only negative would be the bathroom shower upstairs, it will leak if using the shower option however I enjoyed the tub version without a problem. Would definitely recommend this house for a very enjoyable stay!!!

My husband and I came to Groton Long Point for a romantic weekend after a business trip in New York. We stayed at the newly renovated cottage at the recommendation of friends who stay there every summer. Their description of the beautiful home did not do it justice! The cottage is much larger than it appears from the photos and the recent renovations give it a "Beachy Pottery Barn" feel that I loved. The views from the front porch were amazing and we spent every evening on the front porch swing, enjoying a glass of wine and watching the sunset. One thing we especially enjoyed was being able to walk to an amazing seafood restaurant called "The Fisherman." We will definitely come back again soon and might even bring the kids and grandparents because there is plenty of room for all.

The Cottage at Groton Long Point

We have stayed at ‘The Cottage” at Groton Long Point two weeks each year for the past 7 years. It is amazing. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, paying special attention to detail. The kitchen looks out to the Sound. The children would sit by the huge picture window in the morning having breakfast watching the sail boats in harbor. The evening was a special treat with amazing sunsets. We would sit on the porch at night listening to the sounds of the bay just enjoying the peacefulness. The view of the water is unobstructed. The Cottage is beach front with a private beach right outside the front door - perfect for families. Plus, it is a hop skip and a jump from historic Mystic Seaport where there is great shopping and delicious restaurants. If you’re looking for more of a night-life, Mohegen Sun and Foxwoods is a short ride away. The area sports wonderful golf courses as well, Pequot Golf Club, Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods. The Cottage is the perfect getaway place – peaceful, tranquil and a lot of fun. Bring bicycles – it’s a great way to see the area. I would highly recommend staying in this beautiful, family friendly cottage.

Our family has owned this cottage since our grandparents bought it in 1938. It's now owned by the third generation. Several of us live locally and all of us come back every summer with our kids and grandkids.

Groton Long Point is a little piece of heaven. Spending time there is like being transported to carefree summers of years gone by. You can choose to take advantage of all kinds of activities, or you can sit on the porch and simply watch the boats go by.

It's perfect for kids of all ages. There are uncrowded beaches, playgrounds, an old-fashioned snack shop & ice cream parlor, fishing piers and nature trails. Mystic is ten minutes away and there are nearby restaurants for every taste and pocketbook. It's convenient and easy to get to, but it feels like it's a million miles from the rat race. And its close to Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun casinos and all the nightlife and entertainment they offer.

Our cottage is a perfect mix of old fashion charm and modern convenience. The recent renovation updated everything and the kitchen has all new appliances. It features central air conditioning for those occasional days when the sea breeze isn't quite enough.
