Schönes 5 Schlafzimmer Strandhaus in gated Wild Dunes Resort. Zu Fuß zum Strand (250 Meter) oder Lounge am privaten Pool von einer großen Gated Deck mit Blick auf den Golfplatz umgeben.
Im Inneren finden Sie einen sehr offenen Grundriss mit viel Platz für große Familienfeiern. Verbesserte Küche mit Granit-Arbeitsplatten, große Insel im Zentrum, mit Blick auf das Wohnzimmer. Wohnzimmer, Küche und Esszimmer haben viel natürliches Licht und Blick auf den privaten Pool und Gated Deck. Im Esszimmer gibt es einen großen übergroßen Esstisch mit viel Platz für wunderbare Familienfeiern.
Im Erdgeschoss sind 4 Schlafzimmer und 3. 5 Badezimmer. Die ersten zwei Schlafzimmer (Queensize-Betten) haben ein Gemeinschaftsbad. Das dritte Schlafzimmer (Queen und Twin) hat ein eigenes Badezimmer mit Dusche. Master-Schlafzimmer hat ein eigenes Bad mit großer begehbarer Dusche (keine Badewanne) und ��ffnet sich auf das Pooldeck. Am Ende der Halle (am weitesten vom Wohnzimmer entfernt) über die Garage befindet sich ein Schlafzimmer im zweiten Stock mit 3 Einzelbetten.
Großer Flachbild-TV im Wohnzimmer, jedes Schlafzimmer hat auch einen Flachbild-TV.

Der Pool ist 6 Meter tief in der Mitte und 4 Meter an den Seiten. Der Pool ist nicht beheizt.

The front bed squeaked with every move and my son and his girlfriend ended up sleeping on the floor after the first night. The house was very well stocked and everything else was great.

There is plenty of space for us all to watch a movie or put together a puzzle. The kitchen was fully stocked with cups, utensils, baking wear, plates, and a pantry for all our snacks. You can just walk to the beach and setup for the day, or quick drive to North Charleston for shopping. We had some young kids with us and the pool offered them something to do when we were making supper. The property is well loved which was perfect for our busy families. Next time we are here, we will definitely use Island Realty to find our beach house.

House was beautiful but needs small updates

House was beautiful. Ice machine near bar counter was a nice addition. Master bedroom and shower were amazing. The upstairs was very hot and there was 1 tiny fan up there but didn’t help much. The kitchen serving ware/cooking utensils etc were not in great condition. Knives were literally falling apart as we used them. Rug under dining room table was filthy. No colander, had to use a frying basket to wash fruit in. The pool and deck were dirty when we got there. Maintenance did come clean it up after we called though which I appreciated. House is beautiful and in great location just needs some updated kitchen gadgets.

There is lots of space inside the home to move around. Each bedroom had its own bathroom.( with the exception of the bungalow) I definitely would look at staying at this property on our next visit.

Great house

The house was really great! Used it for a bachelorette party and the lay out was perfect!! I wish the listing would have stated it's managed by a third party company that will send you one million emails, and that you need to check in at a separate location about 10 minutes away. Only other negative is there are no pantry essentials, no salt/pepper, foil or things like that. Also only provided one roll of paper towels and one additional trash bag.

Deep cleaning needed

The overall house was very accomodating, but we noticed several areas that needed attention. All 4 bathrooms had visible mold/black substance on the ceiling close to the exhaust vent. This was very concerning as several of us were not sure what we were breathing in. We also noticed that the toilet bowl lids were lose which I realize is an easy fix. One of the guest that stayed in one of the queen beds mentioned that the headboard was not attached, and therefore made a horrible rocking noise all night. I personally had to change at least 3 lightbulbs, and ended up reporting one of the light fixtures to maintenance which they mentioned that the entire light fixture needs to be replaced. Truthfully I feel horrible for the homeowner as they probably are paying a decent amount of money for maintenance/cleaning services, and several things are not being taken care of.

Family Vacation

Location was great, just a 5 minute walk to the ocean. The house, pool and deck were just what we were looking for. All on the same floor but good amount of bedrooms and enough bathrooms for everyone to spread out. We rented bikes for the week which was perfect as there is a long bike path to ride them on. Overall the week was fantastic!

The best girls trip location!

This house was perfect for our girls trip! We were able to easily catch an uber to Charleston, Shem Creek and Sullivans Island areas all for under a 30 min ride. We also loved the walk along the golf course to view Wild Dunes resort as well as the walk along the beach back home! Plenty of space for a large group and the pool area was an added bonus!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was nice, but it was also okay. Way too much vegetation surrounding the home, especially the back deck by the pool. Vines flowing into the pool, caterpillars falling from trees all over the deck and into the pool. Not great if you are looking for sun coverage. The back deck needs a lot of work. Poor landscaping in the front. Beds were stiff, except the master bed. Poor working AC unit in the home. Bugs weren't terrible, but not great either. I'm not sure how much of that can be controlled in the warm weather, and the overwhelming vegetation doesn't help either. The back can get a little loud with the cars driving by and people walking by, but it's not terrible and still feels private enough. The xfinity and/or the roku didn't work on most of the TV's. The home had the amenities we wanted-pool, close beach access, wash/dryer, key code access. Beautiful kitchen and plenty of bathrooms. It was nice that they took care of the trash/recycling for us. Not sure I'd stay here again, would look elsewhere first.

The pool was a nice size and deck was lovely to have. The furniture in the living room needs updated. The chairs were uncomfortable to sit in and rugs need replaced. The ice machine wasn’t cleaned and needs replaced. Although the deck is a nice size, it needs sanded and refinished. We had several toddlers who would fall when walking because the deck was so slick. I ended up buying doorknob covers to prevent kids from accessing the pool, which made us all nervous. It’s a good trek to the beach, because you can’t hop right across Palm Blvd. I will be using another realty company to book our next house.

There was hair in the showers when we got there and cobwebs on the light fixtures that you could tell hadn't been dusted in a while. Minor things like that stand out to me since I have a cleaning business. The ice machine at the bar area did have a ton of black mold in the inside. I sent a picture into the office and never got a response on it. We had to block it off so our children wouldn't get into it. Upon check in I had called to see if the home was available to do early check in and was told it was but when one of my guests went to the office to check in the lady in the front was very rude and told her it wasn't available.

“The Blue House”

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family has enjoyed staying at “The Blue House” in September for four years now. We like the location. With a golf cart to drive the short distance to the beach and then to drive around Wild Dunes, the location is great. Very private. We love having our own private Pool for our four grandchildren!! The one level and floor plan works great for our family of ten. We have a ten year old in a wheelchair and the floor plan is great for him. The only thing that would be helpful is to have a handicap ramp on the side of the house to the back deck where there are no steps to inside of house would be wonderful. Carrying him into the house at front entrance gets harder each year as he grows. This year we noticed that the house and furniture needs some TLC. Cleaning inside and out. Power washing sides of house and just sweeping off the front entrance so you do not track in leaves etc would be nice. A new mattress in one of the bedrooms is needed. Furniture in living room dirty and feathers coming out of the couch. The main problem we had this year was the water would not go out in the shower in master bedroom. Called maintenance and plumber came out but he could not fix it and said someone would come back with bigger tools but they didnt. I just told Island Realty that we would put up with it until we left the next day. It was a Saturday and they said they were having trouble getting someone out there. But this was not pleasant to deal with and I was disappointed that this happened. One other thing that would be nice is to have a ceiling fan on front porch to keep mosquitoes and bugs from going in front door. So, we love this house. Island Realty is great. Love Wild Dunes. Just think it is time for major cleaning and maintenance which happens in all houses...especially rentals. Thank you to Island Realty and the owners of “The Blue House” for four years of making GREAT memories for our family.
