Das schwedische Paradies ist eines der besten Ferienhäuser von Folly. Dieses moderne Haus mit 3 Schlafzimmern und 2,5 Bädern befindet sich an einer der engsten Stellen der Insel. Wie Sie auf unserer Karte sehen können, ist es nur ein kurzer Spaziergang zum Strand. Jedes Schlafzimmer hat einen Balkon mit Blick auf den Sumpf und den Fluss.

Dieses Haus bietet die ruhige Entspannung der Flussseite der Insel mit einfachem Zugang zum Strand. Genießen Sie ein ruhiges Abendessen auf der abgeschirmten Veranda oder im Sonnenbad auf einer der offenen Terrassen im zweiten Stock.

Die Designer dieses Hauses haben hervorragende Arbeit geleistet, um das elegante Haus mit klaren Linien und moderner Ausstattung einzurichten.

Gut erzogene, mit Flöhen behandelte Hunde sind mit Genehmigung willkommen, aber es gibt keinen umzäunten Hof, sodass sie an der Leine geführt werden müssten. Denken Sie daran, dass Hunde zwischen dem 1. Mai und dem 30. September zwischen 10:00 und 18:00 Uhr nicht am Strand erlaubt sind.

This was our second time renting this house. The floor plan is ideal. Lots of balcony space to enjoy the view of the marsh and its fauna. I usually cook every night and appreciate the open floor plan of the living room, dining space, and kitchen.

Amazing stay again!

This was our second time staying here. The house is so comfortable and truly has everything you need. The walk to the beach is very short and is never super crowded. The house is also great for a toddler!

Hidden gem with easy acess to the beach. Nice views of the marsh from the decks. Screened porch is a bonus. Spacious home with everything you need. Quiet area a couple mins to central st resturants and shops.

Quite and accessible location

Quick walk to the beach (two short blocks), short drive to downtown Folly (3 minutes) and easy drive (20-30 minutes) to downtown Charleston. House had enough kitchen amenities to make meals. Each bedroom has a private balcony that overlooks the marsh.

We had an amazing stay at this house. The layout was perfect for a large family, a short walk to a quiet area of the beach. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The screened in porch was a comfortable place to end the day, very peaceful area of the island. Beautiful marsh view out the back. Overall a 10/10!!!

Great location and comfy home

My husband and our two dogs thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It’s a lovely neighborhood and a quick walk to the beach. It was great to have a screened in porch and a spacious kitchen. The kitchen could be a little more organized, but that’s a minor detail. The master bath could have been a little cleaner, mostly the sink, but that was easy to clean

Spacious but worn and neglected

The location is quiet and close to the beach and about 10 blocks from the central restaurant and shop area. The interior of the house is relatively clean but very worn and in need of basic maintenance and updated furnishings. The beds are comfortable and the house is spacious for Folly. The exterior of the house and the garage are very messy, cluttered and not maintained. It would be nice to have some grass in the yard and have the weeds along the marsh cut to allow for a better view. Without a doubt the biggest detraction is the downstairs that is cluttered with all sorts of junk, including an old car, and is simply filthy. All of this being said, the owner is very kind and accommodating. If you are looking for a spacious rental for a reasonable price at Folly and are okay making a few trade-offs then this place is not a bad choice.

Serene and peaceful 10 days on Folly

Tucked away on a quiet street, a three minute walk to the beach with views of an expansive marsh and waterways to the west, this is a wonderful place to enjoy the natural beauty of Folly Island. My friend and I enjoyed cooking in the well-equipped kitchen and shared meals on the screened porch to while listening to bird song, and watching for egrets, herons and the occasional pelican. Most evenings we would walk a short block to view the spectacular sunsets and then return to the property to watch the setting sun transform the marsh. The house is lovely and comfortable without being fussy. We didn't realize that Folly would be transformed by crowds over the Easter holidays, so we were especially glad to be in a quiet neighborhood a few miles from the traffic and crowds. The one challenge was arriving at night - like many houses on the island, the living space is on the second and third floor. The spiral steps in front made carrying up our suitcases and bags a little daunting. If we have the opportunity to return, I would plan to arrive during the day and carry bags up the back steps which are much easier to maneuver.

Location Location Location

The photos do not do the house justice. Better than expected with everything needed for a beach vacation. Plenty of room to spread out. Ample parking. Kitchen was well stocked. Beach chairs and towels supplied and put to good use. The house is one block from the beach. A quiet low key part of Folly Beach. Not walking distance to restaurants which was fine with us. We went grocery shopping on the way in and spent the entire week at the beach. Should you be looking to dine out, “town” is a five minute drive. Parking is tight. There is a paid lot. Worth the money. The rear of the house has a marsh view. Breakfast on the screened in back porch was the perfect start to the day. If you are looking for a week at the beach, some time in downtown Charleston or a combination of activities, this house has the perfect location. I would highly recommend. One note, there is one king bed and two queens, along with sleeping space in the living room. Could be challenging for families with small children. No single beds or bunks. We were three adults, perfect fit.

The beach house had an odor like water damage and carpet needs to be updated and walls needs to be painted. That would help the appearance of the house and wouldn’t cost much. The ceiling in the upstairs bathroom had mold on it. It appeared throughout the whole house some water damage. I hate to sound critical but it definitely needs improvements. Thank you

Folly Stay

They house in a beautiful and peaceful area away from the noise and crowd but close enough to get there easily. Just a quick walk to the beach and nice deck views of the marsh. A Couple of repairs are needed. One Of the shower heads and an outside deck door handle broke off. Overall it was a great stay and I would recommend it.

Great Folly Beach location

Our family loved the marsh views and quick access to the beach. Easy to walk dogs on the street. Several visits from a mother deer and her two babies was exciting.

Spacious house just a short walk to the beach

My group of 4 stayed here for a week and we very much enjoyed it! It was a short walk to the beach, had spacious bedrooms, good porch area, and a complete kitchen. The property is a bit older with some older fixtures and could be more deeply cleaned, but it had everything we needed and we enjoyed our stay!

Great location for walking to the beach

We stayed for two weeks at this beach house & had a great time. It’s close walking distance to some of the best surfing on the island. The back of the house is on the marsh, through the deck & one upstairs bedroom you have a nice view. The owner is super kind & helpful. The property was clean & we had no issues.
