Getting Around:

A car is the recommended way to get around. Route 199 (CH-199) connects Casa Altamira directly with Villarrica and Pucón. The road to the Villarrica Volcano ski center ends on a well-maintained gravel stretch: allow extra time and carry tire chains in winter. The main commercial airport serving the region is La Araucanía International Airport (ZCO), near Freire, about 1 h 10 min by car (73 km).

It is heated only by the property's solar panels, so water temperature depends on sun and weather and cannot be guaranteed. A separate two-person jacuzzi is located in the main bathroom.
