Ein Vintage-Haus im südlichen Stil, authentisch aus den 40er Jahren, das renoviert wurde, um sowohl eine Mischung aus dem modernen Leben von heute mit einem Vintage-Layout als auch Charme zu bieten. Neu und komplett renoviert, eine große Höhe 9 ft. + Decke drei Schlafzimmer, zwei Badezimmer historisches Haus mit großen überdachten Veranda mit Schaukelstühlen, Bank, Esstisch mit Stühlen und viele Sitzgelegenheiten im Freien. Es verfügt über eine Garage für zwei Autos in einer Gasse mit eingezäuntem Hinterhof für einen einfachen Zugang zum Haus, ohne die Treppe vor dem Haus zu betreten. Großes Wohnzimmer mit Kamin und Schlafsofa in voller Größe, schönes Esszimmer und voll ausgestattete große Küche und Bad. Reinigung von Parkettböden. Nice Spring Break Trip

The House is convenient for the Interstate and thus most of Birmingham is a few minutes away.The house was built in 1935 and has been sympathetically updated while still retaining the more classic feel. Although a little early in the season it has a huge porch showing where people used to spend time before AC.The kitchen is well equipped if you want to cook for yourself.In general a great stay.

Quiet & Family Oriented

This was such a pleasant experience. Best party about it, the host actually ANSWERS the phone!!!! A few quick calls and everything was perfect! She even responded to text right away... The cabinets are filled with all the spices needed to prepare home cooked meals. Everything was clean. Loved the dining room, family room and front porch with a beautiful display of fireflies right after dusk. I won't forget this visit, ever!!!

Good choice

The host was very responsive, polite, and helpful. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the amenities were nice. There was a water pressure issue, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker. The only thing I’ll say is that some parts of the neighborhood are getting run down. I wouldn’t go so far is called it a bad neighborhood.. But it’s definitely seen better days. On the flipside, the neighborhood was pretty quiet and it’s very well located. Ubers got to us within about 10 minutes every time and we got wherever we needed to go in 15 minutes or less. Very good value for what you pay and I would stay again.

Nice, quiet home

This home is an older, kind of historic home, but it's updated. When I say older, I mean it has lots of charm and fun architectural features that you don't see in today's new homes. It has lots of character. It's clean and quiet and the beds are super comfy. The house has everything you need. It was convenient to what we wanted to do. The only thing I would say is that the check in materials need to be updated a bit. We received three different sets of information and each had different garage codes, etc. It would be nice to have consistent directions. Overall, it was a great stay.

It was happened to be the day you check in that we had to fix our garage door because previous guests broke it, the garage door code also updated after the repairs and I had to updated it with you as well. No Urgency/No Negotiation/Not a Fabulous Location

Showed up at the property at check in. No power. Tried calling emergency contacts to no avail. Could not reach either contact and one of those contacts, the owner, had her VM full. Then contacted VRBO and they tried to help and 2 hours later the owner finally contacted us. She was trying to get an electrician over, but it would be dark soon and there were no assurances it could be solved in a timely manner. She offered another property she owned that was smaller. This new property was only 2 bedroom/2 bath. We really were stuck with this option as this was the weekend of the Bama LSU game and there was no availability. So, we took it. The condo was ok but reeked of smoke. When we asked for a discount due to the smaller size and smokey smell, she claimed the condo was in a much nicer neighborhood, as opposed to the fabulous location claim of the original property, and the smoke was from the other condos. She would not negotiate. This was a very disappointing transaction to say the least.

Hi Kem: Thank you very much for your candid review of your recent stay at our home. Your feedback is extremely valuable to us, as we strive to improve with each and every stay. I am very sorry you disappointed how we have handled the power outage issues during your stay. The safety and comfort of our guests are always our top priority. The power outage was caused by the power company repairing some of the issues they had in the neighborhood due to the storm and we have shown you the note we got from power company. This was something totally out of our control. To help situation, we had two options for you to choose at the time, option one was to cancel the reservation and you get full refund. Option two was you stay at our condo that was for sale on the market, was not listed for rent. You have chosen to stay at our condo instead of canceling the reservation. However, after you have completed your entire staying, you were requesting for refund and you have completely forgotten what we were talking about before you check into our condo that was not very honest. We would have canceled your reservation and gave you the refund without offering the condo for your stay. We said very clearly our condo was on the market for sale but you wanted to stay, we had to cancel all our showing for the weekend at last minutes during your stay. We did try very best to accommodate you.

Enjoyable stay

The house is spacious, warm, clean and uncluttered. It is a short drive from the interstate and Downtown so you can quickly get anywhere. The neighborhood is quiet, a mixed bag of nice and older/unoccupied-looking houses. Property managers, Suzy and David, were very welcoming and helpful in showing how to open & close the automatic garage door from the inside of the garage. Check-in and check out process was easy. Nice quiet neighborhood but close to Downtown Birmingham and all it has to offer just a short drive away. Spacious and Comfortable home with everything you need to enjoy your stay and a garage to park your car off the street.
