We had wonderful Labor day weekend with family and friends in this cabin. It was great equipt so we enjoyed bbq, firepit, corn hole and other activities.

Great cabin stay

Great location for exploring the kettle moraine northern unit. Just off Long Lake. Clean, well-kept up cabin and kitchen has everything you need. Great deck for sitting and enjoying the sunset. Would stay there again.

Conveniently located near Kettle Moraine parks. Very comfortable and clean. Nicely appointed kitchen. Pretty sunset views over the lake from deck. Firepit well stocked. The marina is close walk away. Allen was great host. Very helpful and responsive. Fun stay.

Annual friends vacation

Nice cozy cabin, exactly as described. Well equipped kitchen. Beds were comfy. Nice outside seating on the deck and around the campfire. The host responded quickly and completely to my questions. Quiet neighborhood and easy to find. I wish it was closer and easier to get to the lake (one really big hill to climb up coming back from the little beach)

Thank you for staying with us! I wish it was closer to the lake too, but a 5 min walk or 1 min drive is not bad. And the price is appropriate for not being ON the lake. The pier access is nice as well for a property OFF the lake. I understand after a long day of playing on the beach that the little hill can be a bit much and seem like a big long hill. There is parking down by the beach so a vehicle can be driven. There is a bigger and nicer beach at Long Lake Recreation area as well. It does cost a fee to get in. There too is a walk to the beach area after you park.

Perfect Getaway

Cabin was as described. Has everything needed to enjoy a much needed get away from home. Owner was outstanding with communication and always replied within minutes. We didn't stay long enough to enjoy the lake access but did find the beach just down the road at the recreation area. There is access provided to the shed for yard games. A great fire pit and comfy beds. We were even able to watch the 4th of July fireworks from the front porch. Highly recommend staying here. Even the dog enjoyed her stay :)

Great stay!!

We (a group of 5 adults) enjoyed a great stay at Sunset Views Cottage! Our stay here was a great compliment to spending some long days at Road American Race Track. Coffee in the morning on the deck was fabulous! The seating in the LR is REALLY comfy! The kitchen is well equipped and organized. When we had any type of questions, Alan was prompt in his replies and support! We will definitly stay again when going to the track! Thank you Alan!

Welcome to the neighborhood

We stayed at Lake & Trail for two nights while we visited Road America. The property is very welcoming with ample space for 5 adult guys. Allen the property owner was superb with communications. We were pleasantly surprised to find firewood and newspaper to help start the fire. Although we did not enjoy the lake, it looked very nice. The property is very well kept up with generous kitchen supplies as well as games and a tv. The air conditioning kept the place very comfortable.You can tell Allen really thought about the visitor making this place very comfy.I do not hesitate to say that this was one of the best places we’ve stayed in this price point.

Two friends and I stayed two nights to hike the Mammoth March, which was located a 2-3 minute drive away, which was perfect! Neighborhood very quiet and peaceful and outdoor amenities were excellent for relaxation. We brought food to cook and snack on, so did not need a store nor restaurants…..which are going to be quite a drive, it seems, as we didn't see any nearby, on our way in/out of the location, for miles. House was very clean and kitchen stocked with plenty of pots/pans/bowls for serving and multiple slow cookers. Beds were comfortable, and only one seemed to be a queen size. The other three felt like full size. All in all, we would stay here again if we make Mammoth March a regular event!
