Guest informed me of a plumbing issue at the house. Issue was resolved in 2 hours. Guest informed me that two toilets were clogged on the first floor of the house. Guest then informed me that a family member was able to unclog one toilet and that the other toilet also appeared to be fine at that time. Guest wanted me to have toilets looked at to prevent any foreseeable issues during her stay. Immediately I contacted my plumber. Then the city was contacted upon the advice of my plumber. City arrived within 2 hours and indicated all was good on their end. Plumber indicated that toilets are working fine. I asked guest that moving forward to be mindful of using flushable wipes for the amount of guest staying at the house. Guest indicated not using flushable wipes. My plumber informed me that flushable wipes were the cause of the issue. I work all issues that present at the house to a quick resolve. The house is very well maintained for all HVAC, plumbing and electrical needs. My response time is impeccable.

Joyce, thank you for taking time to post regarding the house. I indicate that the main house and guest house are accessible via WC because both pool area entrances are threshold passages. I only indicate that the first floor of the main house bathroom and bedrooms are WC accessible. I do not indicate that any individual that utilizes a WC should use the guest house bathroom, as that bathroom is not WC accessible. Please see what is copied and pasted below from the website: “Wheelchair accessible Not accessible by full ADA standards. However, there is easy access into the main house and guest house via wheelchair - through the pool area. The main house has a large full bathroom with open shower (4 inch lip) next to a large bedroom (blue room) on the first floor. We have had persons who were wheelchair dependent stay here in the past and they were very happy with the accommodations. Happy to discuss in detail.” My intent is to never mislead anyone, as I take great pride in managing my property. The website does indicate “Linens provided.” However, moving forward and to better clarify for all guests, I am going to indicate on the website that: “Linens are delivered to property prior to your arrival. Beds are not made.” Linens being delivered to rental properties, without beds made, in Sandbridge, is general practice. I do thank you for indicating this to me. Regarding any issues with flies, if doors are left open they will come in.

Hi Nicole, Thank you for taking the time to post. We had guest that stayed at the house prior to your arrival that smoked pot inside the guest house. As stated on contract, on the website and inside the house: “Smoking is not permitted inside the house.” These guests that chose to disregard contract/policy of house are not welcomed back and were reported to VRBO. In preparation for your arrival, all linens, comforters, and pillows in guest house were pulled off property, aggressive cleaning of all surfaces and the two upholstered pieces of furniture was activated, HVAC filters were replaced, and an industrial strength air filter was deployed. The initial pot odor versus the 2 hours, then 3 hours later assessment of pot odor was noticeably decreasing prior to your arrival. I was on property and gains were being made. I do not like the smell of pot. I do not ever want the house to smell like pot. If there are any issues that occur during your stay, communication to remediate issues is always welcome. Your concern for the sink was indicated to me the day before you left, and your request was to have this addressed upon your check out. Upon my arrival at the house following your stay, the sink was clogged, and the garbage disposal was detached. Not sure what was put into the garbage disposal to cause this to occur, but my plumber was on property following your check out as was your request.

It is with sincere effort and hope that all guests staying at my home have an enjoyable and fabulous stay. I never falsely represent what is done at my home, and nothing is ever staged or misrepresented on the website. The house was sprayed by a pest control company two weeks prior to your stay. Ant traps were placed behind the entertainment stand and the daybed in the guest house, as the intent was to not make them visible. The guest house is never intended to be utilized as a refrigerator containment unit for any food, as there are three refrigerators available throughout the house. The paint is 4 years old at most, with the first floor bathroom most recently being freshly painted this season. It is absolutely horrible that ants invaded your cupcakes. The unprecedented amount of rain a week prior to your arrival, is the reason for the unwelcomed ants which was only complicated by the cupcake bait. Upon my arrival to the house, my intent was to replace the cupcakes. Your family and friends staying at the house were warm and gracious to me and for their stay at the house. The little boy in the pool was thrilled to meet me and tell me how much fun he was having in the pool. The young girl in the guest house told me how lovely my home was and the four adults in the backyard were all enjoying their stay at the home. Regarding the towels, many towels were on the floor in the guest house and one outside in the front yard ditch. During your short stay, my stackable washer and dryer would not be able to meet the demands of towels being dropped and being used pool side, as you initially indicating not knowing that there were no pool towels available or you would have brought them. With a stackable washer/dryer, it is not even be feasible to have towels rountinely washed and dried. We could have arranged for a linen service to accommodate this. Lastly, the dishwasher does have three washing cycles. It is always with great dedication and effort to make everything amazing for all staying at my house. Wish I could have done more. Again, my apologies.
