A great place for 1 or 2 to stay in the Bight

Clean, convenient, and everything worked well. A great value compared to the Grace Bay megabucks resorts. Victor was very communicative and responsive. We would stay here again.

As expected and even better

Victor’s place is exactly as described.. No surprises, just a nice clean condo very close to everything via Lower Bight Road.. Many good restaurants to explore between here and Town of Grace Bay.. FYI - there are beach chairs and umbrella’s for rent at The beach access at the Botanical Gardens.. Take the walkway from the Botanical Gardens and Look for Osnor.. He calls himself The Beach Butler.. He can rent you really nice chairs, umbrellas and get you anything you need such as food and drinks.. Had a great holiday - thanks Victor!

Nice location, but disappointing

The location of La Vista Azul was ideal for us as it is within walking distance to Smith's Reef and several restaurants at the Turtle Cove Marina. The outside of the property was very nice and well kept. The unit owner is very prompt with email communication and always responded quickly to any questions that I had. Our unit, however, was not what I have experienced and come to expect when renting through VRBO. As I have read that there are a lot of stairs, I thought that I would take advantage of the grocery delivery service offered through a company on the island. However, when I contacted the person that I rented from, he responded "Lady good morning", and that, "it shouldn't be much of a task for u to experience walking the isle of an island supermarket. Lol." While I understand that he was not on the island at the time that we were arriving to let the delivery service in, he could have just said that and left the comments to himself. However, getting groceries was no big deal, having been to island grocery stores many times, and we did so on the day we got there. When we walked into the room, there was a horrible smell. I have been to several islands and stayed in several VRBO condos and have never smelled mildew like that before. We bought some air freshener, but each time we entered the unit, we had to catch our breath. The accommodations were fine, with a small kitchen in the studio condo. However, the coffee pot leaked water all over the floor, the safe was broken, the "pantry items" provided consisted of salt, pepper, a few tea and sugar packets, and two coffee packets that expired in 2013. There was 1 beach towel, no garbage bags, no ice trays, 1 roll of toilet paper, and several other aspects that we were disappointed in and surprised by. Do not expect to have anything stocked for you. It was very loud in our unit. Very thin walls & could hear people's voices echo outside. Pool area was nice, but the water was freezing and could only go in up to my knees. I am guessing that pools are not heated down there, but it is in the shade all day, so pretty chilly! Balconies were nice, large, and had a beautiful view of the water. While the property was close to Turtle Cover and Smith's Reef, which was great for us as we snorkel every day we can, if you would like to be near town, this may be a little far for you. Each cab ride was about $20 each way for 2 people. That can add up if you go to town often. Overall, would not stay again

Firstly, I wish to thank you for your patronage in renting my unit at La Vista in Providenciales. Unfortunately, I wish this communication was on more positive terms, however, aside from the issues you did experience, I do hope the greater part of your stay in the TCI was enjoyable and that you would not be deterred from visiting in the future. Having taken into consideration your views, let me assure you that steps have been taken to address the issues you've described pertaining to my unit. Just a quick note regarding the condiments in the unit, those are left there out of courtesy, just in case guests are not able to attend the food store immediately upon their arrival. Since the unit is not rented as a hotel room, guests are responsible for purchasing their own supplies. I presume unless special requests are being made. Once again, thank you kindly for your patronage and the opportunity to respond to your concerns. I wish you most enjoyment on your future vacations, wherever they may take you!

Amazing views! Great location!

We really enjoyed this property. Cute little studio. Full kitchen. Washer dryer. Large veranda looking out with the ocean view. The property is safe and secure. That’s a small gym. Short walk to the beach and to smiths reef. Several restaurants within walking distance. You were outside of the main strip where all of the tourist resorts are. Would suggest a car to truly view the island and get around. Did not have maid service during our stay so be prepared to keep things picked up yourself and take out your own trash. Hot tub was great! 2 pools - one heated, one is not. Definitely a good value for the money!

Victor’s property was exactly as advertised. The location was great and the grounds were well taken care of. If I had any issues he addressed them right away I couldn’t of been Happier making this choice and I will be returning.

4 week stay in Condo 4-304

We stayed in Condo 4-304 at La Vista Azul for 4 weeks in Jan/Feb 2018. The owner Victor Lowe, was quite responsive to emails, though we did not meet him. This condo is a large suite, it was well fitted out with a high standard of furniture and fittings and the bed was comfortable if bouncy. It was reasonably clean on arrival, though the unit could do with a "Spring clean" of curtains, ledges, behind furniture etc. Pillows were badly stained. The floor was very clean, as was the kitchen. The condo like many others has no colour to cheer it. There is an excellent walk in shower with glass door and constant hot water. Most nights were very quiet, but on Thursday and Friday evenings loud music could be heard from the onsite restaurant, which unfortunately went on until after 11pm. The unit has a huge private balcony with comfortable lounger and chairs but it tends to darken the suite as it has walls all around and shade all day. The expansive view is best seen by standing at the far wall. Victor's picture shows the best part of the view, the rest of it includes buildings. Above this floor are the two identical pools on the rooftop, more buildings above. They are both in the shade all day. The adult pool is not heated, and little used as it is cold. The children's pool is beautifully heated and used by everyone. depth less than 5 ft. at deep end, 3 ft. at shallow end. It was seldom busy, and good for laps. Loungers and umbrellas were also available and only occasionally full. There is one hot tub. Buildings 1, 2 and 3 have smaller balconies with railings. Beach is a 7 min walk and almost deserted. Some seaweed. A continuation of Grace Bay. Lovely sand. Unfortunately no loungers or umbrellas were available there is no shade. Victor used to lend these out but no longer does so as they were not returned. A rental system would be great! There was no welcome when we arrived at the condo. Just a very musty smell, which took a week to improve. 4 bottles of water in the fridge, and a rule sheet which said we MUST have cleaning done every three days at our expense. Not enforced. Ceiling fan was found to be unsafe and replaced and other issues. If only Victor had shown more interest in his condo prior to our arrival. 60 steps down to beach level, 20 up to pool. 2 up and 8 down with suitcases from upper road.

The turquoise view

We loved our stay at La Vista Azul. The condo was perfect for two people and the terrace the perfect spot for watching the sunset or having coffee in the morning. The bed is comfy, bathroom spacious and all was very clean. Victor was responsive and helpful when a few issues arose, we went to the wrong condo initially and he very kindly sent his wife over with the key as he was off the island. The location in Turtle Cove is great, you are a ten minute walk from the beach and there are restaurants and bars nearby. Overall, the setting is lovely, constructed of terraces made of coral rock with many fountains and two pools. There is a great, small restaurant, Simone's, which we enjoyed. This particular condo is not the best for a handicapped person. My partner was three months out from knee replacement surgery, so we ended up renting a car. We would definitely stay here again and hated to go home when it was time. I can close my eyes and still see the glorious turquoise water from our terrace. It is. A safe environment and everyone we met was very kind. Loved it!

Comfortable place to stay

Enjoyed our stay here very much. The room was comfortable, the complex was pretty quiet, and we could easily walk to the beach and a few restaurants. You are a ways from Grace Bay so if you want to go into town you need a car.

Amazing location and beautiful unit!!

My husband and I just returned from our trip to Turks and can not say enough about La Vista Azul and the customer service Victor provides. As the pictures reveal, the unit is clean, has updated decor, and also has a very spacious balcony area, which we enjoyed night after night. The resort grounds are beautifully kept and the resort offers two wonderful roof top pools. The staff at the resort were both helpful and very friendly, offering recommendations of where to eat and also assisted us with calling taxis for our day adventures. The location in Turtle Cove is perfect! Five wonderful restaurants/bars are within a 2-5 minute walk and offer delicious food and ambience (Tiki Hut, Shark Bite, Mango Reef were some of our favorites). The Fish Fry on a Thursday night, is also highly recommended....as the food was outstanding and you get a real feel for the island life!! The added bonus to this resort is also the ability to walk to the beachl! While did not get to enjoy the snorkeling at Smith's Reef and Bight Reef as much as we wanted to, due to uncooperative weather, we were able to venture out twice and saw sea turtles, sting ray, and even a shark (from a distance of course!). In all, we would definitely recommend this unit without hesitation, as we have travel to numerous islands using VRBO and found Victor to be one of a kind. Prompt responses to any questions you may have (and I had many..lol)! He even went above and beyond by acquiring some beach chairs for us to use on the beach. So considerate and generous! Thank you again Victor for everything....it was simply amazing!!

very good and clean condo! Victor provided a great service!!

condo is like described, quite new and very clean, nice view of the ocean from the huge terrace. Everything you need is provided: coffee, tea. Victor is very quick to answer any question. He even provided snorkeling gears and arranged a taxi to pick us up for our departure!! Victor provided a great service!! The condo is located just beside Turtle Cove where we can find some restaurants and boats for any cruise to snorkel or dive. The beach and the Smiths reef are within a 15mn walk. Scooter Bob's to rent a scooter or car is at less than 5mn. Scooter or car is recommended if you want to visit Providenciales but if you book any snorkeling or diving tour most of the company can pick you up. Bight Park is 15-20mns walk, fish fry market every Thursday is a must do! The "heart" of Provo and Grace Bay is at 15-20 mns drive. we recommend the Victor's condo!!
