Welcome to The Clock House! If you are looking for a chic home for cozy relaxation, this is it! Located overlooking the river, this delightful, cheerful house will hug you with its warm decor, full amenities, and sunny, south facing windows; providing everything you would need for a quiet but convenient in-town vacation.
Like itâs close-by 5 star sister property, Riverâs Rest, (renting both together gives you sleeping for 12, special combined rates apply), this artfully designed home hits all the right notes for relaxation and rejuvenation: a prime location along the river, walking distance to the heart of town, and impressive features that create your perfect stay.
Across one level are large, sunny living spaces, cleverly updated but retaining their original charm. The living room has views to the river from a massive picture window and boasts a large television and enough comfortable seating for everyone to spread out. Flowing seamlessly into the adorable dining room and French bistro style kitchen, and further into the sunroom / game room, the public entertaining spaces ensure connectivity for large groups, all the while allowing a guest some personal space. The beautiful sunroom is everyoneâs favorite spot for the first coffee of the day and pre dinner cocktails!
For those who wish to skip the kitchen, breakfast, lunch and dinner are a two minute drive or 15 minute walk away. In no time at all you will be in the chic boutique town of Narrowsburg, which provides many dining options, both casual and gourmet.
Returning home, the three bedrooms are super comfortable, with luxurious bed linens, and, in two of the rooms, desks for anyone who needs to work or check into the office. The updated, spacious bright bathrooms have good lighting, piping hot water, and Public Goods toiletries.
Outside the house you have two flat lawn garden areas, providing a play space for children. The front facing lawn area has a view of the river, with a bench on the riverbank allowing great views of the water and its wildlife. The back lawn is quiet and private.
Like all Upstate Place properties, this home has a pack nâ play, highchair, baby bath etc. available to make even the smallest guestâs stay welcoming and easy.

Cancellation and Insurance: We encourage all our guests to purchase travel insurance, whether through the OTA when offered at the time of booking, or through a third party. We cannot make any exceptions to our cancellation policy.
Utility Outages: As Upstate New York can see itsâ fair share of inclement weather and is primarily a tree rich area with overhead power lines, please know we do not assume responsibility for utility outages during your stay. If electric, water or Wi-Fi service is impacted, we do not refund. Of course, if an outage were to persist for longer than 8 hours we would allow a cancellation without penalty.
Weather: During the winter months, there may be ice, snow, and hazardous conditions. We recommend driving a vehicle with AWD or 4WD. Please ask about the plowing schedule for the house. Most driveways are plowed at or before 3â of accumulation.
Animals and Pests: The house is in a rural environment and surrounded by countryside, farms and wildlife. Although itâs wonderful to observe the eagles, deer, bears, and adorable chipmunks, it can also mean you will hear coyotes and foxes at night, and encounter the less cute mice, flies, snakes, ants, bees and ticks. There is very little to be done about it, but by keeping doors closed or screened and food in its appropriate storage, unwelcome guests will stay outside where they belong. All our properties benefit from scheduled pest control, but we are in a natural environment and we can not fortify the houses completely.
Cleaning Guarantee: We are very proud of our housekeeping team who go above and beyond. Because of their hard work and high professional standards, we are able to guarantee our cleaning to our guests. We take time stamped video and photos of the cleaned property and do not refund for any small issues found during a stay. Instead, should a guest feel that something is amiss or needs additional attention, we will gladly have a housekeeper attend the home to take care of it within 12 hours of an issue being reported.
This home may have weekly lawn and trash services as well as monthly pest control service. Service providers may access the exterior front yard and back yard during your stay to ensure the home is properly maintained.
Pets: This property only allows dogs.
Rental Agreement: Please know that we require all guests to sign a rental lease agreement.
