Dieses neuere Haus befindet sich im malerischen East Falmouth am wunderschönen Bournes Pond (einem Salzwassereingang), nicht weit vom familienfreundlichen Menauhant Beach entfernt.

Das Haus enthält 5 Schlafzimmer: ein Hauptschlafzimmer; drei weitere Schlafzimmer; ein Büro, in dem ein Bett steht; PLUS ein wunderschön fertig Keller mit zwei Etagenbetten. Es können bis zu 13 Personen in Betten schlafen.

Die Grundfläche des Hauses beträgt 2.976 Quadratmeter, ohne den fertigen Keller. (Der Keller ist ein Ausgang zur hinteren Terrasse und es gibt dort unten einen Flachbildfernseher, also ist dies ein perfekter Ort, um die Kinder unterzubringen.)

Das Anwesen ist ein sehr großes 1,6 Hektar großes Grundstück, und obwohl es an einer wenig befahrenen Straße liegt, hört man es nicht - das Haus ist stark bewaldet und extrem ruhig / privat. Die Landschaft ist makellos und das Anwesen verfügt über einen langen Rasen und mehrere Sitzbereiche: eine Terrasse hinter dem Haus und einen kleinen Sitzbereich unten am Wasser.

The perfect place for our extended family of 12, plenty of bedrooms to spread out including a large, well appointed lower level bunk room that walks out to outdoor seating. Open communal design that could comfortably accommodate everyone, large kitchen and dining area and a big outdoor grill. Great location 2 minutes from Menauhant Beach, and a short ride from downtown shopping and some very good restaurants. The Host checked in with us a couple times and was responsive to what few questions we had, overall it was a 5 out of 5 experience with zero issues.

This property by far was the best rental we have ever stayed at. There were 7 adults and 4 children ages 5 to 10. WOW what a house layout. Had such a great week and so so convenient to activities yet so private. I would rent this again in a heartbeat. The kitchen was stocked so well. Everyone agreed. Also going to beach can be challenging but the beauty of this was it was a mile away. Multiple beaches to choose from as well.

Beautiful house with room for everyone! 5 bedrooms upstairs and 2 sets of bunks in the basement gave us plenty of space for our 2 families. Extra fans in every bedroom. Gorgeous landscaping and pond view. Linens were supplied for all beds and lots of white towels for showers. Just bring your beach towels. House is better in person than the pictures! Fully stocked kitchen and pantry. We walked to coffee shop (sidewalk all the way), drove to beaches and restaurants, and assembled 4 puzzles! Relaxing and fun week for all 10 of us.

Perfect family vacation

This was by far one of our favorite vacation rentals. The house is was spacious, clean, comfortable, decorated beautifully, and in a perfect location. The side yard is excellent for frisbee, wiffleball, etc, and we enjoyed looking for creatures in the pond behind us. Can’t wait to come back!

The home is very spacious. At various time during the two weeks we were there, my two adult sons, my husband and I all had to work online from the house. 10th Annual Girls Trip

Ample room for 14 (including a crib for our little one. Layout of the house is great, and it's well-furnished. The setting is not done justice in the photos. Absolutely beautiful! We were there in early June, so a lot of flowering plants. Owner very communicative and responsive.

Perfect getaway at the Cape

For our family, with kids ranging from 5-14 years old, this house was a perfect fit. The beach was ideal for swimming and playing, and we could kayak from the house to the beach. If you wanted to stay close by, a dip in the pond was very refreshing. The kitchen was well-stocked, and we were grateful for the AC in the heat. It was a perfect break in Covid times and we could have fun without having to go out in crowded places, due to the ideal location of the house.

Perfect Location!

We had a great week at this wonderful home on the pond. Beautiful views, plenty of space and equipped with all the essentials you could need. The beach was just down the street and the location was perfect for so many other activities: shopping, putt putt and many restaurants. We loved having coffee on the deck or patio and the kids loved playing outside and watching the Osprey's nearby. The yard is gorgeous! It was nice to have the outdoor shower too. Matt was quick to answer any questions that we had. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home in a great location!

We were looking for a home that could accommodate our children and grand children (a total of 13). This was perfect, with beds and rooms to spare. Great location to beaches, downtown Falmouth and the Ferry to Martha's Vineyard. The description of the property was spot on, in addition, it was immaculate! Matt was fabulous to work with a true caring attitude. I would highly recommend this to my family and friends. We look forward to returning. Sincere thanks to Matt and his beautiful family!!

Wonderful family vacation home!

We stayed at the property June 23-30. It was very spacious and allowed the 10 of us (ages3-56) to be close but also have our own space. The landscaping was immaculate and the house was spotless. We enjoyed the area, as well as being at the home. Very well equipped with everything we needed (including a great steamer pot for lobsters, clams, scallops and shrimp!) Would certainly recommend this lovely home. Thank you, Matt, for staying in touch during the week. The welcome note and gift were very thoughtful :) It was a great family week!!!

Wonderful week with family

This is a great house for a family reunion! It was exceptionally clean and airy. The property is beautiful landscaped. We enjoyed the spacious family area for games at night and activities on rainy days. The kitchen and dining area are perfect for nights we dined in, and the grill and deck/patio are great for outdoor dining. And we were close enough to enjoy delicious meals out at The Flying Bridge and Oysters Too! We made good use of access to the pond with our kayaks, and liked the short trip by car or bike to Menauhunt Beach at the end of the street. Although we did not have the best weather for our week's vacation, we had a wonderful time and found the owners to be most responsive and accommodating.

Beautiful home in a great location

We spent a wonderful week in Falmouth. The house was perfect for our family. There were a variety of places to sleep and they were all comfortable. Extra blankets and pillows were available. The house itself was awesome but the grounds are truly impressive. We loved the path down to the water and enjoyed watching the sky at sunrise and sunset. It was nice to drink our coffee on the back deck and look at the water. This property was clean, well stocked, and a really enjoyable home to stay at. It’s a quick ride to the beach in a car and less than a mile walk if you travel light to the beach or have a wagon! Matthew was super responsive and also reached out to check in several times. The house is perfect

We loved this home, starting with the extensive open floor plan on the first floor that allowed children to play in the living room while adults finished a meal or gathered at the table to plan the day. The kitchen is fully stocked, spacious refrigerator, and an extended counter with high stools. The two decks, an upper and lower, provide lots of seating, and the grill was great for a family BBQ. The master suite is enormous, and the other 4 bedrooms are ample and attractive. The basement is a bonus, with bunks and play space. The house is clean and comfortable, lots of windows to bring in the outdoors, beautiful landscaping, and 1.5 miles from Menahaunt beach where we were every day. Oh, and the outdoor shower even has hot water!

Cape Cod Summer

We had a lovely week vacation at this property. Check-in was seamless and easy. Matt communicated great and even let us know we can check in early if we were in the area. The house was clean and large enough for our extended family. The basement was a plus for the kids to play. We had a baby with us, and there was even a crib, stroller, portable high chair, toys, everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked for a rental! There were extra cleaning supplies, spices, and condiments.The location of the home was great. It was down the road from the beach and a quick drive into Falmouth town. The landscaping of the property was beautiful, and had a beautiful water view with a short walk to reach the pond. The kids enjoyed playing on the large front yard. A few of the outdoor patio dining chairs were broken, and the patio umbrellas need to be replaced. The grill works, but has seen better days. Other than these few items that need updating, the house and property were lovely and we’d absolutely return!

We are a family of five (3 little girls) and we live an hour from Falmouth. We fulfilled our childhood dream when we bought this house...we have always wanted a Cape house and East Falmouth is perfect. We enjoy the home with family and friends when not used by vacationers.

We love that the home is newer and it feels comfortable in every way. The home is very quiet and the views are fantastic...also, the former owners did such a great job with landscaping and stonework...it's a really beautiful yard and property.

Waterfront and waterviews at a reasonable price! This house is NOT built right on a killer beach with huge waves or anything--but just being right on a body of water and having a little private waterfront space is fantastic!
