We thoroughly enjoyed the rental. It has beautiful ocean views, and is a very pretty, modern and spacious house. The hosts kept in touch to ensure that our stay was comfortable. A great experience.

Tara's House is lovely sitting on a great spot looking out with panoramic views of Lough Foyle. Fantastic place for a family holiday. Great hosts would thoroughly recommend.

Started a little shaky but Kate took care of any issues very quickly. Only real issue was the was that the listing said “clothes dryer,”but we ended up with clothes drying racks. They did work, but slower, and we were in the middle of our two week trip and needed to do a lot of wash. It all worked out though. Kate was delightful and a good host. We’d stay here again.

Amazing Home, Amazing Stay

Spent the weekend here, the house it absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. Host is amazing and so delightful to deal with. Highly recommend and already planning another stay.

We stayed for New Year the location is beautiful, the house is stunning. Spotlessly clean and really well equipped - a great stay and the owners communication was great - would definitely recommend ☺️

Perfect Family Getaways

We really enjoyed our stay of 2 nights here. There was everthing we wanted in the house with amazing views. Not great weather for the time of year but the house was lovely and cosy with the underfloor heating. Would highly recommend.

The Inishowen 4 trip

I had tried to book this house on 2 previous trips and it was booked out, so I was delighted when we managed to get it this trip and we were not disappointed! It is exactly as described and definitely the best house that we have rented in Inishowen.

Communication with the owner before our stay was very good and resulted in me saying that if the property was half as good as that we were in for a good stay. I can say that none of us were disappointed. Property was excellent and the views exceptional. Location was quite just what we wanted

What a stay!

We all had such an amazing time here. The house was spectacular with breathtaking views. Clean, spacious and only a short distance from the beach which made it even better. Shops were only a 5 minute drive away and there was a decent selection of bars and cafes to choose from. A wonderfully finished property with everything you could possibly need. We were fully catered for and more. Kate made us feel very welcome from start to finish. We’ll definitely be back!

Sun-wed stay

We loved the property. The view was amazing and the location is great for exploring the area. We stayed an extra night as the weather was so good and there was availability. The kitchen/house is well equipped. Some items a little worn. Extra touches like hand wash/toiletries would have been welcomed. The host was welcoming and communication was great before and during our stay. Would definitely return/recommend.

A chance to breathe

Fabulous views and lovely property. Everything you could think of in the kitchen. Beautiful cake and bottle of wine from owners on arrival, nice touch. Be aware there is no soap provided in the bathrooms for handwashing but the kitchen is so well equipped from dishwasher tablets to salt and vinegar for your chips, that buying some soap is not a big deal. Very private and relaxing four days.

Excellent location, great town, great hosts!

We stayed for a week for the Open. We wanted a place within an hour of the tournament, but close to golf for us, as well as more rustic setting to enjoy the area. We got all of that and more. Sheep baying, farms all around, and a incredible view of the loch from the back porch. Greencastle was a nice little town and Derry was 1/2 hour and provided rich history, and great food, and classic bars. The house was clean, had everything we needed, and cozy. Our only suggestion would be more control over temperature. The house was always too hot, but we understood because a extreme heat wave came through while we were there. Nothing some open windows didn't fix.

Bungalow vom Feinsten

Wir haben eine wunderbare Woche in Tara's House in Donegal verbracht. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Man fühlte sich gleich wie Zuhause und Kate stand einem jederzeit zu Diensten, falls man mal Fragen hatte. Alles in allem kann man uneingeschränkt das wunderschöne Haus weiterempfehlen. Ich hoffe, dass wir eines Tages es noch einmal genießen können.

DAs Haus ist einfach fantastisch. MAn fühlt sich gleich wie zu Hause. man kann es mit Worten Nichte schreiben, das muss man erleben... wir wissen dass wir definitiv hierhin wiederkommen und dann. Ich für 5 Tage, dann für länger😃.

hier kann man es sich gut gehen lassen

Das ist ein Bungalow zum Wohlfühlen. Obwohl Kate zur Anreise nicht da sein konnte, hat alles gut funktioniert. Die Kommunikation vor Anreise war sehr gut. Auf meine Mails erhielt ich sofort Antwort. Bei unserer Ankunft wartete bereits eine Flasche Wein, Kuchen und Kekse auf uns. Das Haus bietet alles, was man zum Wohlfühlen braucht. Wir genossen jeden Tag den tollen Ausblick von der Terrasse auf das Wasser im gemütlichen Wohnbereich. Man ist völlig ungestört, da das Haus sich etwas abseits der Straße befindet. In der Küche findet man alles, was man als Selbstversorger benötigt, das Haus ist auf dem aktuellen Stand der Technik. Alles ist sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Im haus befindet sich jede Menge Informationsmaterial, was man während des Urlaubs alles unternehmen kann. Wer sich nicht scheut, ein paar Kilometer zu fahren, hat hier eine perfekte Basis, um einerseits die Halbinsel Inishowen und andererseits Nordirland mit der Destillery in Bushmills und Giant´s Causeway zu erkunden. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und wir können diese Unterkunft guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen. Alexander und Familie

Kate This is a bungalow to relax. Although Kate could not be there to check-in, all worked well. The communication prior to arrival was very good. In my mail I immediately received an answer. Upon our arrival already waited a bottle of wine, cakes and cookies for us. The house has everything you need to feel good. We enjoyed every day the great view from the terrace on the water in the comfortable lounge. It is completely undisturbed, since the house is located slightly off the road. In the kitchen you will find everything you need for self catering, the house is on the current state of technology. Everything is clean and comfortably furnished. In house there is plenty of information, what you can do everything while on vacation. Who is not afraid to ride a few kilometers, here is a perfect base to explore the other hand, on the one hand the Inishowen peninsula and Northern Ireland to the distillery in Bushmills and Giant's Causeway.
