Nestled within a valley where wooded slopes extend to the banks of the Siagne River, the old mill and its annex remain a well-kept secret, once reserved for insiders but now open to guests who choose to stay.

This mill epitomizes the classic watermill, with the clear river water murmuring among the exposed rocks, the narrow stone bridge that spans the waterway—once used to transport sacks of wheat by mule—and the shaded nature offering a pleasant coolness in the summer. The authentic stones of the traditional structure have been preserved.

The mill has been entirely renovated to blend modernity, space, simplicity, and comfort. The original thick walls have been maintained, ensuring a refreshing coolness during the summer months. The living room windows have been enlarged to allow more light to flood in, providing an exceptional view of the surrounding natural environment.

Nature is seamlessly integrated through materials dressed in the hues of travertine and whitewashed parquet floors, along with wooden furniture and a few carefully curated vintage items. Thus, this place allows for a harmonious encounter between two worlds, respecting the past while being designed to meet the needs of modern comfort.
