Conventional home with lot of space and huge kitchen, with convection microwave oven perfect for baking. This centrally located place is 15 mins from center city, 10 mins to convention center 5 mins Temple university. We're close to downtown, walking distance of a huge AMC movie theatre and restaurants. FREE Wifi- You'll have the whole house exclusively except from the garage which was converted to an independent apartment. Free Street parking is widely available. Driveway is not included!! Pets welcome.

The house was cute/eclectic and close to public transportation, which made our visit easy. Close to the bus line to visit city hall, Independence Hall, US mint, etc. Close to the metro so we could see the Phils. Owner very communicative, highly recommend!

Clean and comfy house. Super hot water for the shower :) Safe neighborhood to walk the dogs. We did not prepare any food but appeared to be a fully stocked kitchen. Would book again if back in the area. Host was very nice. We took her up on food recommendations in the area and it was delicious!

Great place to see Philly

Gerzie was an excellent host. Her house is comfortable and located in a convenient area to see Philly. The area felt safe and we enjoyed walking our dogs around the block. Would definitely stay there again when we come back.

Wonderful place for a family.

The property is in excellent condition, equipped with all the necessary amenities for home-cooked meals, laundry, and a comfortable stay. The neighborhood is fine - perhaps a bit transitional for some, but the neighbors were kind and super friendly! Additionally, the location is conveniently close to bus service, a longer walk to the subway (which we made multiple times), and there is plenty of on-street parking. The property manager is a total professional in her attention and responsiveness.

Cute City Spot!

This spot was super comfortable. Awesome hot shower. For anyone who may pass on this spot due to location, don't. Neighborhood was safe and surrounding neighbors were pleasant. Would stay again! Host was very responsive. 10 stars!

So strange you said everything was perfect! Sadly you didn’t addressed any of those concerns when I stopped to check on you. I would have show you that the sink has a removable colander that can be cleaned. and some cabinets are just locked not meant to be used.

A home meant for a family!!

My children and I really enjoyed this property. This property is definitely meant for a family. It is definitely clean. I as a single mother felt very safe here. Owner does have cameras around property and I was very appreciative that my children and I were allowed to stay as we visited family. The only downfall is not being allowed to park in driveway only b/c I cannot parallel park and I was petrified something would happen to my Jeep Wrangler

To start I don’t like the switch and bait where they add on all of these frivolous fees, and then I get a text message that only standard Electric is supplied if I go over a limit “who tells me when I’m going over“ that I’ll be charged more money Not only where the police on the block for shots fired one night and then a party on the next block with the music so loud you could not sleep besides that the fire truck and ambulance that went out four or five times a night with the sirens blaring wasn’t too bad. Oh did I mention the next-door neighbor that leaves his dog out and barks the whole entire night, now let me get it into the inside the kitchen cabinets have a broken drawer, and they are so sticky and dirty that I would not even attempt to use one of the plates inside, they charge people for cleaning service but neglect to take the peanuts or popcorn used bag from the windowsill of the master bedroom, Yes 79 for their stay. I found more spiderwebs in this place than on a Halloween prank. The bed in the master bedroom is too big for the room so every time my partner had to use the bathroom I had to get out of bed to let her out of bed besides the bedframe being broken on one end corner. It wasn’t a pleasant stay, the area this unit is in is in deep need of the police presence. If you know what I’m talking about. This place does not deserve to be on VRBO. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Wow, Howard! I had no idea about any of this. When I asked if everything was okay, you told me it was fabulous. But it seems everything changed after I asked you about the extra people who weren’t on the reservation but showed up at my door. You stopped responding to my text right after that, and now there’s all this negativity — which, if it were true, other guests would have mentioned too, but no one did except you. My place is clean and in a decent neighborhood, and that’s reflected in my previous reviews. No need to hate if you didn’t want to pay extra for the friends that showed up overnight.
