We have stayed at Jenny Lu’s condo several times and each time we had a superb stay. The condo is clean, well equipped with everything you need for a fun beach day or a home cooked meal. Jenny makes certain the condo is well maintained and is a pleasure to work with. We will be back.

Love Menehune!

Jenny’s condo offers a fantastic view for whale watching and a convenient location for all Maui has to offer. Jenny and her rental mngr are very prompt to correct any issue with the condo. I’ll book here again.

Location location location

We love Menehune! Have been coming here for six years. This unit, could of course use a little tender love and care, but the view far surpasses the minor needs. We will book again.

We love Menehune Shores

My family and I have been coming to Menehune Shores for many years and have stayed in Jenny’s condo several times. Jenny is the absolute best host, very communicative and always helpful. She takes great pride in her condo and wants to know immediately if anything needs attention, which she tends to quickly. We are already booked for next year, as the condo offers everything my family needs and wants. The view is fabulous, the beds are comfortable, the air conditioning is great and the beach gear is plentiful. The kitchen is adequately stocked to prepare simple meals. Nice condo with many amenities and again, a wonderful host to work with Thank you for sharing this slice of paradise.

Not what I expected.

Our stay at Jenny’s was pleasant. It is in a beautiful area and there is a lot to do within walking distance. The condo is on a very busy street with constant street noise. The view from the Balcony is beautiful. The condo itself, is dated and is in need of some repair and updating. The linens on the beds were old and dated, Bath towels were less than great. That being said, Jennny was pretty responsive and pleasant to work with.

Pretty nice overall

The three main things for us when we go to an island is ocean view, AC, and price. This unit topped our search criteria and didn’t disappoint. The overall property was very nice, beaches on both sides of the property, and an onsite restaurant (Indian food, and it was excellent!). The only reason I didn’t give the unit a 5 star rating was due to some minor things: the TV said it was a Smart TV but I couldn’t get anything other than Spectrum; the Spectrum remote only worked about 40% of the time; the only lamp in the living room was missing the knob so you couldn’t turn it on; the recliner had springs under the seat instead of cushioning so you had to sit on a pillow; the dresser in one of the bedrooms had about 25% of the vinyl torn off the top so that was a little ugly (but still functional). All that being said, I would definitely stay here again

Served Our Needs

Everything was as listed with a beautiful view. There were some things that are in need of updating. But these are things that you would expect for a place that handled people with families non-stop. There wasn't anything that would prevent our family from renting again.

The view from the condo was great. We could see the evening sunset from our porch. You are right on the beach. The condo needs upgrade and some repairs. We loved Kihea, especially the bay.

Nice condo development, but avoid this unit until it is renovated.

We arrived to dirty dishes and glasses in the cupboards and it went downhill from there. I read previous reviews where the master bath was described as needing attention, it has deteriorated to unacceptable. The caulking around the sink is discolored or moldy and is coming loose. The tub spout apparently leaked and the solution was to put a very poorly applied thick layer caulk around it, and the tub tiles were treated the same way. When fixtures were replaced, inadequate repairs were made, nail holes and areas where things were attached to the wall are still completely visible. The table on the lanai has a broken leg that is completely loose from the table and the finish on the imitation wood floors is peeling in places. The owner's lack of attention to the property is reflected in the listing, which has an 11:00 check out time when the actual checkout time prominently noted in the unit is 10:00. We emailed inquiring about the checkout time, which she confirmed was 10:00.

Sorry for your non late check out experience, hope that’s not the reason you are not happy about my place. I have over 120 five star reviews and most of guests love my place and always communite with me if anything they feel like wrong or need an attention . For your case, dishes are not clean ... that’s from last guests , cleaning crew can’t check every single plates after each group check out .but they do deep clean once a while . We have tried very hard to make the place like a home ! Others you was taking about I never heard of it , we have the best management company there on duty to help and fix any guests need. If you don’t communicate with me or my management company , then we will never know the problems. Communication is the key !!!

Great location due to the proximity to the beach. Great view from the lanai.

We enjoyed our visit. The location is super convenient for beach combing. The beds are comfy, kitchen fully equipped, bathrooms are a bit beaten up and the patio door is super hard to open. There is grass outside for little ones to run around on and the pool is well maintained. We never went to the Indian restaurant but it smelled amazing. We would recommend staying here, but you need a car to go anywhere since there is not a sidewalk to walk into town. The washer and dryer and AC work well also. The view from the deck is great and relaxing

Perfect condo for a family vacation!

This condo is fully equipped with everything you'll need! The location is great! You're steps from the ocean with two options for a beach. The one area is great for smaller kids to wade in and has turtles swimming nearby! The view is fantastic! You can enjoy your morning coffee on the lanai while watching whales in the distance! Although there was no air conditioning the temperature in the condo was comfortable even during the heat of the day thanks to a great breeze. The condo is also very spacious!

Very nice condo

We stayed at Jennifer's condo for 3 weeks and we were pleased with the layout and most of the amenities. Jennifer was a dream to work with and kept us up to date on everything throughout the process. The condo itself was a two bedroom/two bathroom condo with a nice ocean view. There was only my wife and I so we only used one bedroom but the bed was very comfortable and we slept exceptionally well. The kitchen was well equipped and the dining room was great with seats for up to six people. The only downside would have been the lack of seating in the living area. There was a fashionable, but armless and somewhat uncomfortable, leather sofa available to sit on and curiously nothing else. If there were other people with us I'm not sure where they would have sat. We watched most of our t.v. in our bedroom on the very comfy bed. Television isn't a big priority when in paradise. Overall, we had a great vacation. Thanks Jen.

Yah, the dinner table is fancy , not cheap ! I bought leather covered chairs and try to make it more comfortable . but most of dinning chairs won't be very comfortable to sit too long . The sofa bed in living room is for extra people who need it. I may take his suggestion to get another chair, that will make the space smaller then . So thank you for bring that up. Great place - right on the beach!

I very much enjoyed staying here for the week in January. The location is fantastic - right on the beach, and there's a great lanai to watch the sunset. The condo was clean and spacious, fully equip with pots, pans, and utensils that we made use of when we stayed. We also used the other amenities that were provided at Menehune Shores - we swam in the pool, played shuffleboard, and grilled. Overall a great experience, and Jennifer was easy to work with and very responsive.

Beautiful Condo - Amazing sunsets

beautiful and clean. We stayed here for 1 nights, the owner was responsive and easy to work with. The condo had everything you would need to be right at home, nice pool at the complex and right on the beach. Being from Florida I am used to Air Conditioning and on a few of the nights it was a bit warm. But I hear that is not normal and 9 out of 10 nights it is comfortable without AC

I live in CA, after over 10 times visit I bought this house as my vacation home. I love my house , because i can feel and breeze the blue ocean everywhere in my house and see sunset just sitting outside of the balcony .Onetime a little bird joined me. perfect weather with perfect living make me feel so relaxed. it is paradise ! Also the location of this house is great, close to the best snorkeling place in maui (I always see turtles) and close to shopping mall and great restaurants . 20 min to the airport . I would love to invite you and your loved ones to share this beautiful maui experience .
