Please be advised that access to Incline Village's three private beaches is limited to property owners only. The recreation center is open to the public, for a daily guest fee. The rec center includes a heated swimming pool, basketball court, fitness equipment and classes, tennis courts, pickleball courts, and three bocce ball courts. There is no fee to enjoy the pump track and disc golf course at the rec center. Enjoy Village Green and the Incline Village Fitness Trail (an 18-station exercise course adjacent to the Village Green. The 8/10 of a mile course winds through the forest next to Incline Creek. The course contains accessible walking, running, snowshoeing, biking & exercise trails). Dogs welcome when organized activities are not scheduled. Pets Considered
SECURITY CAMERA(S): Please know that the home's security cameras are active on the front door, garage, and/or driveway, outside of the downstairs primary bedroom, outside facing the back hill, and back outdoor entrance.
Pet Policy Pets are allowed only at properties that indicate Pets Considered in the amenities tab. County Rules Each county requires we inform you of the rules and regulations relevant to your home's Short Term Rental Permit. We thank you in advance for abiding by the rules below, also included in your signed in the Vacation Rental Agreement.
Maximum Occupancy: There shall be no gatherings, events, weddings or other group functions on the Premises with more people than the number of persons stated on the Agreement. Parking: Parking on the street is prohibited at all times. All cars, boats, and trailers must be parked in the garage and/or driveway.
Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are 9pm-8am, seven days a week, Noise carries easier and further in higher elevations and over water. Per the ordinance: No sound from the vacation rental home shall be audible from the parcel line during this time. Noise shall be minimized in order that it not be an unreasonable annoyance, disturbance or nuisance to neighbors.
Lights Out: All exterior lights that are not needed for safety must be turned off between the hours of 10pm-7am, seven days a week. Per the Ordinance: All exterior lights must be turned off that are not needed for safety or other outdoor use to the extent that such other outdoor use is not an unreasonable nuisance to neighbors.
Red Flag Warnings: Due to extreme fire danger, bonfires, charcoal barbecues and wood-burning fire pits are strictly prohibited. On Red Flag Warning Days, when fire hazards are especially dangerous, typically due to dry conditions and high winds, additional restrictions are imposed by the North Tahoe Fire Protection District and prohibited. You cannot use outdoor gas grills or gas fire pits during Red Flag Warnings. All outdoor fires are prohibited, both gas and wood. It is your responsibility to be informed of Red Flag Warnings. You will see signs on the front of all fire district stations, hear about it on the news, see it on social media and hear about it on the radio.
Winter Driving Many highways, access roads and/or driveways are steep in Tahoe/Truckee and may be icy in the winter. To ensure your safety, it is critical that during November 1st - April 30th brakes, windshield wipers, defroster, heater and exhaust system are in top condition. Tires need to be properly inflated and the tread must be in excellent condition. Always carry tire chains, even if driving an AWD/4WD vehicle. Make sure the chains are the proper size for your tires and are in working order. You may find valuable winter driving tips from the CHP website.
Summer Patio Furniture Patio furniture is available for your use during summer months only. All outdoor tables, chairs and loungers are put into storage in the fall, in order to protect the furnishings from winter weather. Barbecue grills, however, do remain outside for your enjoyment.
Be Bear Aware Black bears are very common in this area and have become habituated to human food and garbage. Because bears no longer have a strong fear of humans, you may encounter bears during your spring, summer and fall stays. Feeding bears is illegal. Leaving food outside, trash accessible, or doors and windows unlocked is likely to cause significant property damage to homes and to vehicles. Please take a moment to learn how to be Bear Aware, so that we can continue to live in harmony with our wildlife.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at the Modern Marvel in Incline. The location is perfect for the North Shore, close to Sand Harbor and Kings Beach. Wintertime skiing/boarding at Diamond Peak is a good time and far less hectic than some of the larger lakeside resorts. The accommodations are spacious, with room for large family gatherings, 14-16 able to be seated at the dining table with another 8 bar stools. The main kitchen is on the upper floor, with a smaller one on the first floor. You are able to fit at least 5 cars in the driveway. The upper deck is massive with a very functional grill and lounge furniture. The only drawbacks to the property are the traffic noise from the lakeside highway and the trees that obstruct the view of the lake, but the property is on level ground so easily accessible in the winter. We celebrated my wife's 70th birthday with our 6 kids and their families. Restaurants, a brewery, and pizza are close by. All in all an amazing place to stay and we'll be back.

This property was perfect for our large family vacation. It was easy to access, very comfortable, and thoughtfully set up. Communication with the manager was excellent and all of our questions were handled promptly. We ordered a baby crib and baby gate for our stay, and that service was also outstanding.We especially appreciated that the home is dog-friendly. The downstairs felt like a separate apartment, which was ideal for extra guests and kids. The linens and towels were first-class, and everything felt well cared for. We truly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning in the future.

The house was definitely a Modern Marvel! It was a little too high-tech at times - under the counter lights took 2 days to figure out how to turn them on- but fun to visit! The cascade doors that opened to the expansive deck with the dining room now an al fresco experience was my favorite part. Tons of room for everyone to gather together and then find their own quiet space.I think bikes would be a much appreciated added amenity as well as a ping pong table.The only downside to Incline Village was the lake of lake access. Much is private or private to the owner or available upon request which after hours of research I missed. The nearest public beach parking lot was often full. This is where bikes would shine!Overall a great family experience, fun house, super clean, upscale kitchen items (cloth napkins a nice touch) and responsive property management team.
