Welcome to Coeur d'Alene's RED DOOR RETREAT! Live like a local, but with more comfort, space and privacy at the Red Door Retreat. A historic home built in 1915 but completely redone in 2021. It is in the heart of the highly desireable Midtown area at only 0.7mi to lakefront beaches and parks and a block from popular pubs, restaurants, grocery stores and shopping, so plan to park your car and walk to ride our bikes everywhere!

The RDR is aesthetic enough to make you want to stay in, but close enough to adventure to inspire you to get out!

The Space
We take great pride in our personal care and running of this RDR as a vacation rental. You will not be diverted to an impersonal property management company at any point in your reservation process or stay at our Vrbo. This makes a HUGH difference in the quality of your experience.

Other things to note, to access the second story bedroom, office and exercise space, You must be able to climb a short set of stairs with handrail. As reflected in the photos, the bathroom / shower are on the first floor. No bathroom upstairs.

Other things to note
Short set of 13 stairs take you up to the bedroom / office / exercise area. If you plan to enjoy a winter stay, make sure you've got chains or good winter tires as we can't control city street plowing timelines.

Please consider bringing your own favorite slippers to maximize coziness as all our floors are tile or hardwood and can be chilly in the colder months.
