This centrally located home situated just off HWY 89 is a short 4-minute drive to Palisades Tahoe Ski Resort, and just a 7-minute drive to Alpine Meadows, placing you minutes away from some of the best ski runs in the area. During the summer months, enjoy a walk or bike ride on the Truckee River bike path, located just a few miles from the home. Conveniently located near the home is a bike rental location where you can rent bikes in the summer, or tune your skis and snowboards in the winter. With HWY 89 just minutes away, you can easily make day trips to many of the stunning surrounding areas such as Truckee which is 14 minutes away. Or head into Tahoe City is less than a 10-minute drive where you will find many cute boutique shops, a wide variety of bars and restaurants, farmers' markets, live music, and a big sandy beach with a great park and lakeside walkway. Getting Around:
Centrally located just off HWY 89 and a short walk away from a public transportation stop, this home places you in a great location for easy accessibility to the surrounding areas. For those without a vehicle, a 5-minute walk will take you to the public transportation TART stop at Tavern Inn. This bus will take you to Tahoe City with a short bus ride where you can connect to locations such as Northstar California Resort. Being close to HWY 89 provides quick access to the beautiful surrounding areas with just a 9-minute drive to Tahoe City and a 14-minute drive to Truckee. In the winter time, enjoy a complimentary door-to-door shuttle service to and from the ski resort. It's a 4-minute drive from the Palisades Tahoe Ski Resort and less than 10 minutes from Alpine Meadows.
