Jamrock Villa Dolce (JVD) is the place to stay if you want a home away from home, with family and children in the beautiful island of Jamaica. JVD is located in Drax Hall Manor in a quite gated-community on the north coast, in the parish of St. Ann, Jamaica. It is about a 15-minute drive from Ocho Rios and is close to several nice beaches and tourist attractions. The famous Dunn's River Falls is only a 15-minute drive away, so is a "must climb" adventure. Bob Marley's famous 9-mile home is also located in St. Ann, making the 9-mile excursion definitely worth taking!

Swimming with the Dolphins, ziplining or ATV tours in or near Ocho Rios may be the adventures you are looking for!

Fine dining at Bettino's Italian restaurant is only a 5 minute drive a way - for delicious Italian or Jamaican menu items including shrimp appetizers, lasagna, oxtail and rice, curried goat and rice, and steamed or fried fish. Gelato ice-cream is a bonus! Great venue for a birthday or anniversary celebration. Plantation Smokehouse is a 10 minute drive away with several Jamaican menu items like oxtail, jerk chicken and curried goat, but also including wings and fries, if that is your desire. Entertainment while you eat is an additional bonus at Plantation Smokehouse restaturant.

Scotchies Jerk Centre is just across the road from Drax Hall Manor. The Drax Hall Knutsford Express bus station is located just 5 minutes away, in the plaza next to Drax Hall Manor, which features KFC Pizza Hut, Starbucks Coffee and Jamaica's renowned Devon House Ice Cream Shop.
