Smoky Mountain Dog: Stay is an elegant, dog-friendly, two-level apartment with all new furnishings in historic, downtown Waynesville located next to the Smoky Mountain Dog Bakery. Walk to 50+ restaurants and shops. Just off Main Street, but peaceful and full of light.

Please note that the kitchen, living room, bedroom and bath are on the second floor and accessed via steps. The queen sleep sofa is on the first floor. As a result, the apartment is not appropriate for children under 16.

This was our second stay and just as pleasant as the first time. The proximity to downtown allows you walking access to shops, restaurants and breweries without having to get into your car. The accommodations were very comfortable for us as well as our sweet dog. But most importantly the owner is extremely accommodating!!

Very easy to locate, and check in to. Parking was also easy, with spaces just feet from the door available. The apt was so well furnished and cozy, and set up to be extremely pet friendly. It was also so well centrally located that we walked everywhere we wanted to go. We will absolutely be back. When you stay here, make sure to check out the dog bakery and dog bar!

Best place we have ever stayed in

Best dog friendly well appointed place we’ve ever stayed! When we walked in there was a nice bottle of wine for us and a bowl of assorted treats for the dogs! Location is right in town and the owner’s DOG BAKERY is right next door. Loverly owner who made sure everything was perfect. We will be back again!!

The space was perfect and very well appointed. Really nicely decorated, every attention to detail throughout the one bedroom. Cyrus enjoyed being beside the dog bar/dog store. Waynesville is super dog friendly.

Pretty fabulous little rental. My husband and I travel quite a bit, and this may have been one of the nicest rentals we've had the pleasure of staying in. The pictures don't do it justice - the whole apartment is designed beautifully with an artist's eye. Really interesting and cool decor, as well as high end appliances like a brand new gas stove. Often in rentals you find a mis-match of worn dishes and glasses and such - not the case in this one! Dishes, glasses, cookware, everything was brand new and good quality. On top of that, you cannot beat the location. Everything you would want (restaurants, breweries, shops, etc is literally within steps). Julie (owner) was actually on site when we arrived and was incredibly nice, offering to help us find an alternative route to a hike we were trying to get to, as well as offering to provide us with places for Elk viewing. We did think it was a teensy bit pricey considering the smaller size of the apartment, but considering how nice the apartment itself is, and the great location, we were okay paying the rate.

The apartment was absolutely perfect! Very clean and had everything we needed. A wonderful place to stay if you have a dog - our 5 month old golden retriever loved it. The location is great - lots of shops and restaurants on Main Street that is only steps away. Highly recommend and will stay again when back in Waynesville.
