Verdigre - Parkside Cottage

Comfortable cottage in Verdigre, walking distance from downtown and all local businesses, located next to Chalupnik park on Main street. Verdigre is a short drive to Ashfall Fossil Beds, Niobrara State Recreation Area, Grove Lake and endless outdoor adventures including hiking, hunting, fishing, and eagle watching.

Greetings and welcome to our little town of Verdigre ! We live about a mile north of Verdigre where we raise chickens, and goats, and in the summer we have extensive vegetable gardens. We also have a geothermal greenhouse where we grow greens in the winter, herbs, and have lemon, lime and avocado trees, we are still waiting for them to mature fully so no fruits yet. You are welcome to come to our place if you want to meet our goats and chickens, see how we use our artesian well to supply water to our critters and tour the greenhouse, and gardens.
