My family has owned this condo for over 30 years and it has been a great place to host family vacations for 3 generations ever since. My family and I enjoy hiking the local mountains such as Diamond Head and Manoa Falls, surfing in Waikiki, swimming in Kailua and Ali’i Beach and shopping on the Kalakaua strip while supporting locally owned boutiques like 88Tees, Happy Haleiwa and Honolulu Pawnshop.

My grandfather chose this neighbourhood as he attended daily mass at St.Augustine’s by the Sea loved his morning strolls along the beach walk and chatting with the locals over morning coffee. We also have family in Oahu which makes it easy for regular visits with them.
There are many shopping areas and local restaurants/bakeries in nearby Kapahulu Ave such as the iconic Rainbow Drive Inn, Uncle Bo’s, Side Street Inn, Ono’s Hawaiian Foods, Nanding’s Bakery and Leonard’s Malasadas.

The Waikiki Banyan also has amenities such as an outdoor pool, 2 outdoor hot tubs, playground, putting green and barbecue area in the communal deck located on the 6th floor which makes it great for entertaining families and friends during your stay.
