Dieses 4 Schlafzimmer, 2 Badezimmer Wohnung ist nur 7-10 Minuten zu Fuß zu den Liften im Canyon Lodge. Die Wohnung verfügt über gewölbte Decken, eine große offene Grundriss im Wohnbereich, Kaminofen und Essbereich mit Sitzgelegenheiten für 7 mit einem zusätzlichen 4 in der Küche bar. Dieses Gerät verfügt über eine voll ausgestattete Küche mit allen Geräten, die Sie benötigen würde und hat sogar einen privaten Gasgrill.

Das Obergeschoss Schlafzimmer verfügt über ein französisches Bett mit angeschlossenem Bad, das zweite Schlafzimmer im Erdgeschoss über ein Kingsize-Bett, hat das dritte Schlafzimmer 2 Zwillinge, mit dem vierten Schlafzimmer mit 2 Etagenbetten mit je 2 Einzelbetten (für insgesamt 4 Einzelbetten ).

Eine spektakuläre Familieneinheit nur einen kurzen Spaziergang zum Canyon Lodge! Dated but well stocked condo in good location

Accurate description. Improvement suggestions: Some of mattresses really need an upgrade. I’d also check the outlet in the King bedroom (didn’t feel safe using). Internet was down for 2 days which is challenging if you need to do anything. Good: Well stocked. Management company was responsive. Hot Tub/Laundry area was great. Ideal location.

Great location but needs some TLC

If it weren't for the location and layout, this would've been a 1 star. Light bulbs still missing from prior review, no propane in bbq tank, no foil or anything for baking in oven, no coffee, no battery in remote and only 1 TV channel, the parking was completely snowed in.... The management company is great but the place is just dingy.

The property's location is amazing however the unit itself seems to be quite old and a lot of the appliances didn't work and/or were missing. For the price, it's not worth staying here - if you just want a place to sleep and walk 10 min to Canyon Lodge then i'm sure you can find others

Kitchen could use some more cooking implements and organization. Internet router very spotty and had to be reset numerous times. Granted we were not here for this and wanted the beauty of the mountains. Interior is in need of a desperate upgrade. Beds need new mattresses badly. Same with the couch. Minor improvements would make this a 5 star.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay in the condo. It was plenty big for our group and very close to the chair lifts. The kitchen was well equipped, and there were plenty of beds. However, you can tell the building and amenities are aging. The lamp and overhead light in one room did not work. Some of the railings outside were damaged by the snow. And the TV and electronics are very old. We did enjoy the hot tub and sauna, but the jets did not work, and there was no bucket and ladle in the sauna. The rec room has a ping pong table and foosball table that need repairs. We would stay here again for the location, but it would be great if the necessary repairs and updates are made.

An Ok place to stay, but needs some updates

This property is old and needs some updates. The carpet is old and looks to be 30-40 years old. I hope they shampoo it, but it's hard to tell because it's so dark. The over all interior finishes are very dark from the floor to the walls to the furniture. There isn't enough natural light most of the day and the normal light fixtures aren't enough to provide adequate light at night. The mattresses are also a mixed bag of uncomfortable. The large mattresses are hard while the twin mattresses are worn out to the point that you can feel the springs sticking you in the back. Lastly, everything is very short in the bathrooms. The counter tops are short, the toilets are short, the light switches are short, even the shower head is short. So short that you have to crouch under it to get water in your hair. The location is very nice. Within one mile walk of the "Village" area. It's also next to a bus stop for easy shuttle access. Over all, not a bad condo. Great location and great amenities including temporary gym membership. Unfortunately, it's very dated and desperately needs updates including new mattresses.

Walking distance from Canyon, but no WiFi and lumpy furniture

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Mammoth West #124 was very convenient for the price and as it was walking distance from Canyon Lodge. Staff was professional and prompt when they had reached out to us. The kitchen had a plethora of cooking appliances so it made it easy for us to plan meals for our large group. The large dining table and living room allowed all of us to come together for meals or to play games. However there were several things that made us dissatisfied with our stay. Half of the beds in the house were uncomfortable to lay in (old, squeaky and uneven mattresses) so it made it difficult for many individuals to sleep. The WiFi was not working, and the info package insisted that WiFi was spotty in the area. However we have stayed in other rentals in this area and had the opposite experience where WiFi connection was uninterrupted. Combined with the lack of cellular service in the area, no wifi was a large inconvenience to us as we were not able to communicate to others in our party when we were separated and to ensure the safety of our group. Additionally the cleanliness of the unit could have been improved. Upon closer inspection, we could see spiderwebs hanging from the ceiling and light fixtures. Trash and food crumbs was found between the cracks and on the trundle bed in the bunk bed room. Overall, the unit would benefit from a refresh - updated furniture and tv (couches were also saggy and uncomfortable), light switches that actually connect to the lamps, working WiFi, etc.

Terrible, stay away!

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We payed for a four bedroom condominium and one of bedrooms could not be used because of no heat in the middle of winter. The small heater the rental company had brought over ran for hours without warming the room above 60 degrees, even with the door closed. Another room had a broken headboard that banged on the wall when ever you changed sleep positions. The bunkbeds in the 3rd bedroom were unsafe, ladder was not attached and mattresses were very old and thin. We had guests that had to sleep on the couch and the floor. Bring earplugs because the downstairs bedrooms were right above the street and the beeping of the snow plows started very early.They advertised cable TV and the only TV in the condo did not work the entire 3 days we were there, bad connection to cable box was their reason. The carpeting was ripped and unsafe. Pots and pans rusty with peeling teflon, drapes hanging off their rods because of broken hooks. Melted snow seeped under the front door causing a large wet area in the entryway.We had the maintenance men come out on three separate occasions and could not fix any of the problems. They both agreed that this condo is sub standard. Anyone that would give this place over a 1 star for good location must either be a college student living in a frat house or a friend of Sierra Reservations.

In need of an update

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is great, however, there were some issues. The lamp in the bottom room was missing a light bulb, so we had to remove the bulb from the living room lamp to use. There was no cutting board, aside from the one that slides out of the counter. We were not aware that there was a wall switch that controlled the heat, so the first night was very uncomfortable. Curtains in the living room did not work so the room was pretty dark. There were not enough towels, so I had to call the management office.

Mammoth get away with some friends.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was impressed with how much room we had in this unit and how cleaned it was. The BBQ grill was excellent to have and the kitchen had all the cookwares that needed.

Great Property, Better Service

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I think I can speak for our entire group of 10 when I say that we could not have been more pleased with our experience, beginning to end. The unit itself was in excellent shape when we arrived and came supplied with all the amenities we could hope for. Between the well-stocked kitchen and the outdoor grill, we were able to prepare all of our meals for the weekend in-house, instead of venturing out into the dumping snow, and the dining room and living room were very spacious and provided a perfect environment for a weekend of board games and socializing. On top of that, the location of the property couldn't be better, being only a short (5-10min) walk from Canyon Lodge. But what impressed us the most of all was the professionalism and hospitality of the management. When the weather turned south, shutting down the 395 the morning we were planning to leave, the staff at Mammoth Sierra Reservations was incredibly accommodating of our situation and allowed us to delay our checkout considerably at no cost. I'm a firm believer that businesses that do right by their customers should be rewarded. That's why I'm writing this review, that's why I would recommend this company without reservation, and that's why I will go out of my way to book my Mammoth vacation rentals through them in the future.

Fixer upper dirty condo, photos falsely misleading this place

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Not a 5 start as advertised!! Carpet is so dirty, stained and torn! Unacceptable condition for a rental! water leak from the ceiling in master bedroom Plates, cups, and utensils were disgusting, even after washing them stains would not come off.Kitchen pots and pans were also discussing. Inadequate pans to even cook with.Wall paper ripped, unfinished patch job in downstairs bedroom, and walls dirty in need of paint Mildew/mold in the bathrooms and sink area.Kitchen drawer broken.Oven extremely dirty.This looks like a fixer upper/bank repossessed place, no pride of ownership, they just want to take your money. Management-rental company doesn't care!! Stay away from this company

Hi Nancy. Thanks for the review and I'm sorry to hear the unit did not live up to your expectations. I know there was an issue with a leak from snow on the roof of the building during your stay and we got that fixed for you right away, but were unaware of the other issues you had in the condo. I will send someone from our staff to the unit to check on the items you mentioned and make sure things are cleaned and inventory items replaced or purchased, if needed, prior to our next guest.
