Beautiful appartment centrally located

We could easily find the appartment. The owner was very friendly and responsive. It was spacious enough for our family of 5, very clean and tastefully decorated. The neighbourhood is lively. The metro, tram and shops are close by, which we found convenient. Some more kitchen equipment (cups, glasses, pots, etc) would be convenient.

Lovely stay

This is a lovely apartment in a centrally located area with easy access to tram and subway. I enjoyed the local markets and restaurants and would highly recommend and stay there again myself.

Home away from home

This is my second stay on this apartment and it feels like home. Close to team and metro as well as shops. Hosts are extremely helpful and would highly recommend any property of theirs.

Main entrance to the building was very dirty. If using the stairs there were no lights so pretty unsafe. The main entrance to apartment the light outside didn’t work so coming back in the evening it was very dark. The apartment was clean but the furniture was not in the best condition. Drawer handles falling off when trying to open them, chairs around the table were wobbly and unsafe.

First time to Budapest!

Wonderful. We felt so lucky to have found this place. The beds were PERFECT and the location so convenient. Me, my sister and my mom took our first “girls only” trip and we really enjoyed it. Walked everywhere or on occasion took the tram. Beautiful tall ceilings and windows. Thank you Frank for your hospitality.

Very elegant apartment in central location - close to NYC Cafe. The host, Frank, was good communicator. We used his friend, Pulai, to come get us at the airport and to help us get into the flat. Best Vietnamese food I’ve ever had was right next to the apartment called Dong Do. We ate there every night. The shower had plenty hot water, beds were comfy. I would have liked to have paper towels in the kitchen and a full tea/coffee station with all of the Fixins. Only coffee was provided. The apartment was very bright, clean and minimalist. It had gorgeous 20 foot ceilings with huge windows and intricate cornices around the light fixtures. Loads of extra blankets, pillows, bath towels, wash cloths and tea towels were provided (although a little crunchy from being dried au naturel). There were three floor fans that came in handy for drowning out the city noise and drying our bathing suits from a day at the thermal baths. The flat was warm and incredibly cozy and made our first stay in Budapest unforgettable! I am so glad we stayed here! Highly recommend staying here.

spacious flat in a prime area

Frank’s listing is extremely spacious and in a great area of Budapest that made our stay super convenient. We expected there to be more soap and toilet paper present, as there were five of us staying in the flat. Frank was responsive and the listing price is definitely unbeatable.

You don't see it from the pictures, but the building is old and a bit run down. The apartment itself is well maintained and is in a great location. Bedroom 3 is tiny and hard to access the bed. The shower room doesn't have a curtain so the floor gets wet.

Absolutely GORGEOUS and spacious apartment in a vintage building ( with an elevator!) Great location
 easy access to the user-friendly transits. The Host has taken the time to leave you with very detailed recommendations of SO many things to do in Budapest Excellent accommodations for the price! There may be more than one apartment in this building being rented by Frank. Our only disappointment was that we thought we rented a unit with a balcony. The units must be decorated very similarly. Unfortunately, the unit we had did not have the beautiful balcony. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for Old-World Charm and want to have an authentic Budapest experience!

Hat unsere Erwartungen leider nicht erfĂŒllen können

An sich ist das Objekt nicht schlecht. Allerdings hatten wir etwas völlig anderes erwartet, vor allem fĂŒr den Preis. Der genannte Parkplatz kostete 12€ extra - pro Tag. In einem Zimmer kam ein Teil der Ecke runter und es roch nach Gips wie auf einer Baustelle. Von der Toilette konnte man auf die Toilette der Nachbarwohnung schauen. Das Bad war eine SpezialitĂ€t fĂŒr sich aus einer Zeit vor 1900... Mit einem Duschkopf mit 5 Wasserstrahlen in alle Richtungen. DarĂŒber hinaus Ameisen im KĂŒchenbereich die aus dem Boden kamen, der "Balkon" auf dem man sich nicht umdrehen konnte so klein wie er war und fĂŒr 3 Schlafzimmer 2 Ventilatoren. Seife und Klopapier sollte man auch besser selbst mitbringen. Man kann zwar mit den SchlĂŒsselboxen unabhĂ€ngig voneinander in die Wohnung - allerdings kann man die Wohnung bzw. den Eingangsbereich nicht abschließen wenn der SchlĂŒssel in der Box fĂŒr den nĂ€chsten bereit liegt, was gerade nachts sehr befremdlich ist da jeder einfach reinkommen könnte. Von der Wohnung gibt es nur Detailbilder von GegenstĂ€nden - das hat auch seinen Grund... Der Besitzer ist freundlich und antwortet schnell, der Check-In war absolut unkompliziert. Auch die Lage ist absolut Top. Allerdings ist der Preis unserer Meinung nach fĂŒr die QualitĂ€t einfach viel zu hoch bzw. was im Inserat versprochen wird kann teilweise bei weitem nicht eingehalten... FĂŒr ein paar Jugendliche die nur zum Schlafen die Wohnung nutzen wĂ€re es völlig ausreichend wenn es preiswerter wĂ€re. FĂŒr uns war es leider eine kleine EnttĂ€uschung.

Very nice and comfortable apartment in the centre

The apartment is very clean and spotless. The decorations is more then elegant. The elevator is great if you arrive tired in the evening with 2 kids and laguage. The bathroom is great and the beds are very comfy. Its not pricy at all. In the same street you do not get a double room in a Hotel for this price and here you have a big xxl classic apartment. I highly recommend and would love to stay again and again. THANKS for letting us stay. We loved it !!!!

The best PLACE IÂŽve ever stayed in

Very nice place in an excellent location. The flat itself is a gem. 3 minute walk to the Jewish Quarter. We walked Everywhere from the flat. To put it simple - this was my best home away experience ever. The flat is superb and clean, it will be perfect to 3x2 companies thanks to 3 separate bedrooms. It is sooo beautifully designed, with lots of light and space due to the numerous high windows and high ceiling, and it has everything (plus more) for your convenient stay. Location is also an epic win being situated at the very heart of Pest, minutes walk from Sinagogue area (home of coolest ruined pubs and dozens of bars, cafes, restaraunts) with lots of public transport stops nearby. Host is super friendly and easy to communicate. I definitely recommend this place and will be happy to return one day.

Highly Recommend It

Excellent apartment for exploring central Budapest. Very close to the New York Cafe and lots of food outlets. Highly recommend it. Its equipped with everything you'll need, decorated really tasteful and immaculate clean. Communication was quick and easy. The apartment is situated close to the New York Cafe - a must see in Budapest. We had a pleasant stay and would highly recommend it to others.

Spacious, clean, convenient

The apartment is spacious, well equipped and very clean. The checkin procedure was well described and set up so the owner's presence is not needed at check in or check out. The location is convenient though on the edge of the districts with the most tourist areas, but close to the efficient subway system. There is no air-conditioning, so summer will be hot. Fans are provided, but the windows open up to a busy and noisy street. I would stay again at this apartment, though perhaps not during summer.

Sehr gute Wohnung in guter Lage

Die Wohnung ist noch viel grĂ¶ĂŸer und schöner als auf den Fotos. Meine Frau und ich waren total begeistert. Waren zu zweit hier und hatten mehr Platz als zu Hause. Alles war sauber, die Betten super bequem. Zentrale Lage und extrem guter Preis. Was will man mehr. Danke fĂŒr alles.
