The Falk Miksa holiday apartment. Spacious 2-bedroom apartment in excellent decorative order. Air conditioned throughout.
In a quiet street close to the magnificent Parliament Building and River Danube. This is possibly the best residential area on the east side of the river (Pest). Many shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk.
- Main room with new top quality 48-inch/121-cm cable smart TV where you can log in to your Netflix etc. accounts, DVD player and film library, Denon Hi-Fi with floor-standing speakers.
- Wood-block floors and loose carpets. Spacious dining area.
- Sizeable fully-equipped kitchen with gas hob/electric oven and extractor. Top of the range Panasonic combi microwave. Big LG top-freezer fridge with plenty of ice for drinks. Full-size Bosch dishwasher. Siemens automatic washing machine.
- Two large double bedrooms with wardrobes.
- Large working desk with fast PC (with MS Office) and laser printer.
- Fast secure wi-fi throughout the apartment.
- Several supermarkets within easy walking distance.
- There is also a selection of coffee shops/restaurants in Falk Miksa street.
- Eight minutes' walk to the nearest subway, or about 5 minutes to trams.
- The apartment has air con for summer and is centrally-heated in winter.
- Extremely safe and secure on the first floor. There is a lift.
- Friendly, and really helpful English-speaking local manager always available.
- British owner. My main concern is that you should enjoy your stay.

Wonderful location for family in Budapest

I would give the location bonus stars if possible! The place was lovely, one of the most well appointed places we’ve stayed. Our family of 4 had plenty of space and enjoyed being able to easily make our own meals. Geoff was great at communicating and we’d love to return someday.

Fantastic Stay

We stayed (myself, my toddler, and my mother) for 4 nights and the flat was wonderful! It was so great to have the amenities for our toddler and the location was good. It was close enough to walk to many things but was also near various public transportation options. Overall a fantastic place to stay on our vacation!

Great spot!

Comfortable place for our family of 5, 2 adults and children all 12 yrs or older. Great location on a quiet street. Highly recommend staying here. Host was very helpful picking a place to celebrate our daughter’s birthday, and was quick to respond when we needed anything. We will try to stay here again!

A Great Place to Stay

This is a wonderful place to wind down after a strenuous day (or night!) in Budapest. The rooms are large, the furnishings comfortable, its situation is ideal (central but not noisy) and it feels like home. The owner and his local manager, Tamas, do everything to make your stay a good one. Unsurprisingly, this has been my third visit to Falk Miksa u.

Great week in Budapest

The property was perfect for our family. One-block walk from Parliament Square, with easy access to public transit. Great restaurants in the neighborhood. The owner provided timely, clear information with great attention to detail. He even left a bottle of Hungarian wine as a welcome gift. Easy check in and check out.

Lovely place

Thank you for the bottle of wine and candy. Loved the spaciousness and the location of the apartment. The locks on the doors were a little confusing at first, but we managed. Any issues that arose, the property manager was there to help. Would love to stay there again.

Great property In a fantastic location

This is a brilliant place to stay, a stone’s throw from the Parliament building with lots of sights on the doorstep and easy access to trams and trolley buses.. The apartment is ideal - it has absolutely everything you could need and is much bigger than the photos suggest. The owner was really helpful before our stay and instructions on how to use everything in the flat were easy to follow. We’d highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again if we were lucky enough to return to Budapest.

Geoff’s apartment is amazing! Home away from home is the best way to describe this place. We stayed for 10 days and my family of 5 had everything we needed. It looks exactly like the photos. It is very spacious, loved the high ceilings. Kitchen has everything you need. I couldn’t believe how close we were to the Parliament. I loved this. Apartment is close to everything, grocery stores, tram, subway. Geoff was very responsive. Really appreciated all the instructions around the apartment and all the information provided. We hope to stay here the next time we travel to Budapest!

Perfect place to stay in Budapest

We’ve just got back from a fabulous long weekend exploring Budapest to celebrate my 50th birthday. Geoff’s apartment was a fantastic base, incredibly spacious and well appointed in a fantastic central but quiet location. We could get to most places really easily and meant we packed a lot into our stay. Geoff was a great host who recommended a superb restaurant to celebrate my birthday and had even arranged chocs, fizz and balloons as a surprise. I’d easily recommend this place and if we go back will definitely look to stay here again - it was perfect!

A perfect stay in Budapest

We loved this apartment for many reasons. We have been to Budapest many times but staying within a 2 minute walk of Parliament and the Danube was a new adventure in a different part of the city for us. It is not only a great area to explore with its many galleries and antique shops, but also a great area to just live in. Grocery shopping was nearby and making dinner was fun in an amazingly well equipped kitchen (the host is obviously an excellent cook).The apartment was comfortable in every respect and convenient to inner city transportation. There really was nothing that would have made our 2 week stay any better.

This is a splendid apartment in an excellent location and highly recommended!

I spent 19 days in this apartment and would highly recommend it. The host was particularly concerned to make the stay as comfortable and welcoming as possible. Everything was clearly explained and there is a local manager who could arrange travel from the airport if required. All the rooms were very nicely furnished and cosy, too. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. The apartment became very much a 'home from home' and I would like to return there whenever I go back to Budapest. This has been the best place to stay for me by far, and I have stayed in many apartments in Budapest.

Very comfortable apartment in the middle of town

The apartment was indeed spacious and in a very central location with good transport connections. The area around the Parliament has many shops and restaurants but we also ventured further afield to eat and of course to see the sights. Cooking in was also a pleasure because the kitchen was well equipped and easy to use. Everything was clean and well maintained. The DVD player and video library was a plus, as was the scrabble (chose from English or Hungarian sets!) Definitely a place we would come back to - and there was lots of Budapest that we did not see this time to make for another packed week at least.

Perfect place, delightful owner

We had an amazing time in the apartment, it was very clean. The apartment is very big and spacious, especially because of the high ceilings (which are not really shown on the photos). All the utilities we needed were there. The owner is very kind, he gave us all the information we needed. He responeded very quickly to messages we send. He was very flexible concerning some of our needs. The neighbourhood is also very nice, supermarkets are within walking distance as well as the city centre. Overall, we had an amazing time and would definitely stay here again.

An excellent stay in Budapest

We very much enjoyed our stay at this beautifully spacious and well-equipped apartment, which was a true home from home. The apartment is fantastically located in the 5th district of the city, just 1 minute walk from Parliament building and near the metro stop and tram stops, as well as local supermarkets. (The #2 tram trundles along the Danube nearby, which is worth a ride in itself) It’s also a short walk from Margaret Island, across the bridge, which is a fun place to visit and mingle with the locals on a sunny afternoon. Communication with the owner over keys/transport etc was clear & efficient, and the wine/chocolates waiting on our arrival were a lovely touch. It’s located in a warm apartment building so would be cosy for a winter stay. If you’re looking to be in the very heart of the nightlife you might want to be nearer the 7th district, but we found this to be brilliant for our needs and great value for money. In terms of size/location/amenities/price you’d struggle to do better in central Budapest Overall we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again

We had 4 wonderful days in Budapest in Geoff's flat. The communication with Geoff was very friendly, we got a lot of Information and support. The flat is very well situated (a few steps from the Parliamant and the Danube), very clean and very well furnished. Should we come back to Budapest, we know whom to contact!! Thanks again
