We stayed here July 2026. The house was great for our family of 9. The pool was a hit and hot tub very relaxing. It was only .9 from downtown Gatlinburg so it was so convenient! The kitchen needs some more supplies like more glassware and cooking items.The local restaurants we liked were Alamo steakhouse, Howard’s, Myron Mixon BBQ and Old Mill.We saw bears from the house every day! It was very exciting and we loved it!

While the home has the amenities described on the website. We were not notified in advance that one of the two air conditions for the home was not working. The game room and three bedrooms did not have central air condition. The maintenance team had installed portable air conditioners, and two of the three bedrooms that exhaust vent out of the window. That left us with one bedroom without any air condition. One of the two portable units only blue hot air. The second portable unit had to be disconnected from the exhaust vent taken to the bathtub and the water drained out of it daily or it would stop working. The home is in the mountains, and we had plenty of bear sightings which included bears on the property. However, it is very unnerving that bears are attracted to food scent. As mentioned above the two downstairs bedrooms with portable air-conditioning units, which had the window open and order for the exhaust to go out of the window was unsecured. I asked the lady at customer support. Should we do rock paper scissors to find out which family members got placed in the bedrooms with unsecured windows with wild black bears outside roaming the property I will never rent from this company again

It was a stunning house with room for all - pool, sauna and movie theater were great. One game wasn't working and the bunk beds were much smaller than described leaving our 12-year olds having to swap rooms with a single older kid to make it work.

This location is ideal for families that like to stay in. With a pool and the gaming room, you never have to leave. There is a grocery store a mile down the road, so it is easy to stock up. The description of the driveway was that only 3 cars will fit. We were concerned since we had 5. We were able to fit 5 cars pretty easily. We had 2 SUV's, a small truck and 2 passenger cars. The trash is a problem. You cannot leave any trash outside because of the bears. The bear proof had 2 small cans that would fit 2 kitchen bags each. There was a garbage pickup mid week, which helped a lot.The air conditioning on the lower floor does not cool to desired temp. It was set to 70 but would not cool below 74. That said, they provided 2 stand alone air conditioners for the bedrooms, which allowed the temperature to be comfortable in the bedrooms. That said, the air duct going out the window is not secured properly. We stuffed blankets and towels and cardboard to keep it from leaking hot air. There is not seating for 10 at the table or in the living room. But there are lots of chairs outside that can be brought in.That said, we had a wonderful time, the house was wonderful and they had the best concierge that I have ever experienced. All questions were answered immediately. I would highly recommend this location. Beautiful views and several bear sightings. :)

Beautiful property- opportunity for improvement

We stayed at this property with our two daughters (7 & 1) Brother and his wife and child (3). The house is beautiful. Kids had fun in the pool and the porches were great to hang out on in the afternoons. We primarily booked for the indoor pool and after some frustrating communication on the front end about the necessity of heating the pool, we decided to pay for that service. The pool was very comfortable. My biggest complaint is that there were no shades or window coverings in the upstairs bedrooms. These windows look out directly on the street with a bright street light that shines in the windows at night and anyone driving by could see right into the window. It looks like daylight at night and you couldn’t change clothes in those rooms as anyone outside can see directly in (ie the construction workers right across the street). This seems like a big oversight. Otherwise, the house is beautiful with a great location close to downtown Gatlinburg.

This was a great house for our large family - plenty of room to spread out and the living space was great for hanging out. The best parts were the pool/sauna/theater room level (big hot with the kids) and the deck space (morning coffee and evening cocktails). Avantstay made it easy to communicate small issues and resolve promptly. Proximity to the downtown fun was ideal and we even got to see the neighborhood black bears up close. Definitely recommend and bring your AWD vehicle to get up that hill to the house!
