Wir haben einen erfrischenden Salzwasserpool für den privaten Garten. Auch wenn dies ein Front-Duplex zu sichern, ist der Pool für die ausschließliche Verwendung der Vermietung dieser Einheit. Es gibt ein Badehaus neben dem Pool. Kein rauf und runter läuft die Treppe hinauf, während unterhaltsam in diesem schönen Hinterhof. Wir haben an alles gedacht, mit einem Gasgrill zur Verfügung. Machen Sie das Abendessen im Freien, während Sie die Kinder in den erfrischenden Pool nach einem langen Tag am Strand spielen sehen. Das Innere ist außergewöhnlich. Wir verfügen über ein Kingsize-Bett in zwei Schlafzimmer und ein Königin in der anderen. Voller Größe Waschmaschine / Trockner im Inneren für Ihren Komfort und Bequemlichkeit. Die Küche ist voll geladen, die eine riesige Menge an Vorbereitungsraum auf einer schwarzen Granit-Arbeitsplatte, die auch als Esstisch oder Treffpunkt für Spiele. Wir bieten alle Annehmlichkeiten, die Sie benötigen, einschließlich zwei Kaffeemaschinen (eines davon ein Keurig), Geschirrspüler, Eismaschine in der Tiefkühltruhe, über den Bereich Mikrowelle. Summer Vacation

Absolutely Beautiful house!! Pictures don’t do it justice. So clean, my 3 girls loved the pool. Shower and toilet by the pool just brilliant, nobody has to go in and out of the house wet. The enclosed fence made it perfect since we brought our dog. So close to the beach, a very short walk. We had an amazing vacation. Thank you!!!

Great place to stay

Home was clean and great location. Communication with Sharon the owner was great, she told us about the fireworks for Memorial Day. Walking distance to the beach. Pool was awesome to cool off after a long day at the beach. Shower and bathroom by the pool was a nice addition so you did not have to go into the house. We will stay again!!

Family beach getaway

I would have given 5 stars all around except that when we arrived at the house it had not been cleaned from the previous renters. It would have been nice to relax and settle in after a long drive. Sharon, however, did respond quickly and had the cleaners come right away.

Lovely Place!!

Plan you next trip to SPI by booking this property. The home is lovely. Beach access is ideal. If you are traveling with a dog it is close to green belt areas for walks. The owners have done everything to make it a welcoming home!! The pool is wonderful for chilling out before and after beach time. The downstairs shower and bathroom are convenient. The house is super clean. We have stayed many places on SPI including the Sapphire. This by far is our favorite place!! We look forward to booking in the future.

The perfect rental.

The house was spotless and fully stocked. So clean that everything looked new! Public beach access just across street. Enclosed private area with saltwater pool and covered area with picnic table. The owners were there and perfect hosts making sure everything was just the way we wanted. We have rented everywhere on the island from The Shores to the Sapphire, the Seville, Edgewater, and more. This was our favorite yet. Highly recommended . We will stay here again.

The Perfect Getaway

Only a short walk away from the beach with the option of a pool all to ourselves, this home was everything we wanted and more! The home itself, inside is beautiful, clean, comfy and has all the home necessities for skipping on eating out and making dinner at home (which we did). The owners were very kind and helpful! We almost forgot about the fireworks and they reminded us. We had a great view right there in the driveway! My only complaint was about us making this trip too short as I did not want to leave. This is the place you’ll come to and say “this is exactly what I wanted”. Thank you for sharing your lovely place!! We will be coming again next year!

Awesome Stay

From the very beginning of staying Sharon was over the top helpful. The house is set up perfectly. The location is ideal and beach is just across the street. While staying there Sharon sent a text messages about fireworks on the island that we did not know about. Thanks to Sharon we got to go see the fireworks. After getting there the TVs could not connect to the internet. With in 10-15 min Sharon had the problem fixed. Sharon's house was perfect and so was how professional she was. We will definitely return to South Padre and hopefully get to stay at Sharon's property. Highly recommend this property.

Nice Home, But A/C Made It Unbearable

The home itself was nice and mostly, well kept, but the A/C issues made our stay extremely uncomfortable. We had the thermostat set to 72, but temps inside stayed around 76-80 during the day. With our 18 month old grandson needing naps and downtime indoors, this was a major problem. She called an A/C tech who told us the unit was too old to properly cool the home. He also said he told the owner this multiple times. I wish I would have had him write this down a million times over as she denied what he said. I have video and picture documentation of thermostat readings, the dirty A/C filter, and the system running nonstop trying to keep up. The owner dismissed everything saying no other guests had complained, likely because "they were at the beach or pool during the day." That did not help us. We did not file a complaint with VRBO during our stay because we were afraid the owner might ask us to leave and we didn't want to be forced to find last minute lodging with a baby. After our stay, I did file a complaint with VRBO and the owner refused further communication, then charged us 95 for oil spots on the driveway. The spots came from a rented golf cart that was parked there one night. We didn't notice the spot until leaving. The time, accusatory and condescending message felt retaliatory. I'm sure she'll have something negative to say in response, but my rental stay reviews speak for themselves. The home has potential, but I wouldn't recommend unless the A/C is replaced.

From the moment this guest arrived, she complained that the AC needed to be fixed and she expected a partial refund. I was alarmed by the call and rather than being dismissive as she claims, I immediately called an AC professional. I did not receive a bill because there was no AC issue to be fixed. Instead, the technician said the temperature in the condo was not in the range the guest claimed it to be. After their departure, my cleaning service snapped a picture of the thermostat showing 73 degrees. My neighbor went back in at 3:00 PM and it was 71. Never did the guest send me a picture of my thermostat showing 80 degree. She could have because she was there 3 days but instead she just kept complaining and asking for a refund. There was no way to make this guest happy because it was obvious that all she wanted was money. Unfortunately, some hosts give in to avoid the threat of a negative review. I choose to stand on principle.

Perfect spot

This was a perfect location, 3-5 min walk to beach access and food store right around corner. Cuter than expected. House was very clean and has a beachy vibe with nautical decor. Rooms are spacious, and bathrooms and kitchen are newer.... maybe could use updated pots and pans, but super minor as it had everything else you could need. It has a large covered parking and driveway for multi car use and easy unloading. Backyard is super cute, great place to hang but maybe a light on the fan above the picnic table on left side could help if you wanted to chill out there at night. Pool is smaller than expected but still very clean and relaxing. Has an awesome outside bathroom and shower to rinse off without having to go inside, so helpful! Only thing to note is that the only access to inside house is up a lot of stairs. A little steep/tough on our dogs to go up and down, and a BIG workout when bringing in or taking down luggage. Other than that, great place to stay and we will consider this space each time when come into town. Thank you for sharing your lovely home!

Wonderful Vacation!

We had a great time at Sharon’s place! It is so close to the beach and has all the amenities needed. We especially enjoyed the pool every day (and appreciated the sun shades!). Our family includes our pup, Ezzy, so having stairs that feed into the private backyard is so convenient. I go to SPI every year and this place is now at the top of my list due to: location, pool, outdoor bath house, backyard, grill (we used it every night!), landscaping, and cleanliness. Everything we needed for an enjoyable stay in South Padre! House was clean and had everything we needed. The outdoor space (pool, shower, picnic table) were great to have for post-beach recovery. East access to the beach and much closer than expected. Will definitely be back.

Excellent property and stay

My family rented this home for our summer vacation. We had a great time. It was just three of us. Two adults and a 12 year old. We each took a room. We loved everything about the property. Location, pool, rooms, kitchen…. Communication by host. Friendliness of host. The place is extremely well maintained. I’d recommend this home to anyone going to Padre. Highlights outside of the home were Wanna Wanna Beach, Birding and Nature Conservancy Center,… again that salt water pool in the yard was amazing. Landscaping was beautiful. We enjoyed the grill. It’s a perfect beach home with every amenity we could want.

Great Fenced Yard and Pool

This property was exactly as described. The kitchen was fully stocked which made things easier with a family. The yard is completely fenced which was nice for my two dogs. The pool is mostly sun heated which made it quite a bit chilly this time of year but was still fun to have. The entrance to the beach was a block away so it was very easy to access. Sharon was great answering all my questions, giving suggestions to bring and even gave me a tip for Thanksgiving dinner on the island. Note for those hoping to "work from home" at this location. The wifi was good but having multiple people on zoom meetings all day was a bit of a struggle but manageable. Overall a great location to get away for a few days. Highly recommend.

Zen beach house that makes you relax

From the minute we stepped into Sharon house we felt relax, it was clean and had everything we needed. The property was only 5 min walk from the beach and we could enjoy the sunset from the balcony, I hope to go back again.

My husband and I are retired and love managing our own property. We like to give a personal touch to every guest rental. The most important thing to us would be the enjoyment and comfort of our guests. We keep our property clean and well maintained as if we were staying there each time. It is important that it stay up to our demanding standards.

South Padre Island has the unique atmosphere of a resort. Even though the shore is dotted with high rise hotels and condominiums, we still have a nice view of the water from the balcony and it is a very short stroll to the beach. The beach is well maintained and the water clear and clean on most days.

South Padre has a lot to offer. Available on the island are charter fishing trips, parasailing, A Water Park, beautiful clean beaches as well as beautiful sunsets over Laguna Madre Bay. Great seafood restaurants with the freshest catch of the day. A birding and nature center, Sea Turtle Rescue Center and so much more.
