Relax and enjoy spectacular soundfront sunsets from your own private dock and a 5-minute walk to the beach at this soundfront home in the Sanderling community located on the north end of Duck. The attractions of both Duck Village and Corolla are just a few minute's drive. This cottage is an oasis and perfect base for you Outer Banks adventures. Beautiful waterfront views and fun abound in this bright, open, four-bedroom, 2.5-bath house complete with a kayak, bikes, and beach gear.

The second-floor entry level features all 4 bedrooms - one queen bedroom, one bedroom with two twin beds, one bedroom with a single over double size bunk bed, and the master suite. There is a shared full bath on this level as well. The master suite has amazing sound views, direct access to the second-level deck, and an en-suite full bathroom with a jetted whirlpool tub and shower.

The third level of the home features the living areas - a fully equipped kitchen, dining area with seating for six at the large dining room table with an additional two seats at the bar, a large, comfortable living room, and deck access with 180-degree sound views.

The Sanderling Community

Behind the “Sanderling” entrance sign is a nature path that leads to a dock for launching a kayak, canoe or SUP on to the Currituck Sound. You may also bring along a fishing pole. You’ll see a variety of native bird species, seasonal nesting ospreys as well as magnificent sunsets. Sanderling is truly a sound to sea community.

Sanderling also has a series of nature paths that meander throughout our community where you may walk, bird watch and observe the beautiful landscape that is uniquely Sanderling.

*We DO NOT have a hot tub! There is a glitch in VRBO that keeps adding hot tubs to properties automatically.

*Parking is limited and the driveway is partially shared with the neighboring house. We have room for 3 vehicles maximum. .Do not use any part of the driveway that is not directly in front of our house.

*There is a Ring security camera doorbell monitoring the main entrance to the house..
