Timber Chalet Retreat - Hot Tub & Fire Pit
Minutes from Olympic National Park, the Olympic Holiday Haus Main Chalet offers a warm and memorable forest retreat designed for gathering, relaxation, and connection. This storybook chalet features 4 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen, dining area, and inviting living spaces surrounded by the beauty of the Olympic Peninsula.
As you wind down the quiet lane toward the property, the Bavarian-style chalet slowly appears through the cedars, creating a sense of arrival that feels peaceful and enchanting. Guests are welcomed through a brick archway into a courtyard filled with greenery before stepping inside a home rich with craftsmanship and character.
Throughout the chalet, you’ll discover vaulted ceilings, timber framing, skylights, balconies, intricate brickwork, and custom wood details that make the home feel unlike anywhere else. Expansive gathering spaces and thoughtfully designed bedrooms create an atmosphere that is both cozy and spacious—perfect for reconnecting with family and friends after a day exploring the Olympic Peninsula.
Guests staying in the Main Chalet have private access to the main home, excluding the PentHaus Suite and TreeHaus Cabin, which are separate rentals located on the property. During your stay, you may encounter other guests while enjoying the shared amenities, including the detached game room, custom dry sauna, fire pit gathering space, saltwater hot tub beneath the cedars, patio spaces, and backyard.
The surrounding area offers the best of both farmland and forest, all set against the backdrop of the Olympic Mountains. Though peaceful and private, Olympic Holiday Haus is conveniently located near Olympic National Park, Lake Crescent, Lake Sutherland, the Elwha River, Salt Creek Recreation Area, Sol Duc Hot Springs, the Olympic Discovery Trail, local wineries, breweries, and more.
We are available during your stay should you need anything and are always happy to help make your visit relaxing and seamless.
A few important things to note before booking:

• Dogs are welcome with a $100 pet fee per pet.
• The detached shop/construction area and attached garage are not accessible to guests.
• Firewood is available for purchase at the outdoor fire pit and quick-light logs are available for purchase at the indoor wood stove.
