Gut: Sauberkeit, Check-in, Kommunikation, Lage und Genauigkeit des Onlineauftritts
Hello! We decided last minute to make this trip. I will start with, I like to stay at places where there is a full kitchen because we can’t eat out much and that is important for us. . So when we got in to the home, I unpacked all the food in to the fridge. The fridge seemed like it was not super cool so I texted the owner but understood that there was a family that stayed the week before and there were no issues. We went about our afternoon. That night I checked the freezer and found that there was small puddle of water in the bottom. I saw there was a big brick of ice so I texted again but didn’t hear back. I got up the next morning and found that all the food had spoiled. It was a huge hassle and we lost most of that day getting food and waiting for a replacement fridge. The owner was very apologetic and was able to find a very old and dirty replacement fridge for us but it was very stressful. She helped us buy replacement groceries but we lost a day :( the kitchen had old pots and pans and they had ants. Again, cooking at home is a necessity for us so our rating is heavy on that. The establishment was nice, and the golf cart was nice as well to take to the beach. Would I stay again? Possibly, but only after double confirming the kitchen was in working order.
