Great location with easy beach access. Golf cart came in very handy. House was clean with cute decore. We also rented beach bikes and kids loved riding bikes around and to the beach. Added this location to favorites for future trips. Girls also loved bright yellow for pictures. Only suggestion is bring your own hangers or owners add some more to closets.

Short trip to the beach

We rented the house for 3 nights, 4 days on Mustang Island. The house was great, very clean, well equipped, and while not “on” the beach, it was accessible by a short walk or ride in the golf cart on a boardwalk over the dunes. Great proximity to the beach, great access. It’s just a quick hop to restaurants and shops.

First review

The location was great and the fact that the stay came with a golf cart was a huge plus. However, there were a few things in the house we were disappointed in. They advertise a charcoal grill and there was not a charcoal grill, it was gas and so old and rusty. I don’t think it had been used in years. Also the microwave never worked. We put in a request to fix it and they came out to take a look but the issue was not fixed. The set of kitchen knives were terrible, trying to cut veggies was very frustrating. There wasn’t a good size bowl to mix a salad in, just kitchen basics were lacking. Probably will try somewhere else next trip.

Perfect Winter Get-Away

We wanted a quick beach escape, and all of the bonuses this property provides allowed us to pack light. With the billiards, games, puzzles, books, beach toys, and of course the golf cart we had plenty to keep us entertained. The house was beautiful. My only suggestion would be to have a queen bed in the second bedroom. I believe it’s just a full.

Amazing Place, perfect for elder generation

Place is beautiful with two bedrooms downstairs. It was perfect for us as my Dad cant climb stairs. The walkway to the beach was .25 mile, easy walk.

Nice Stay

My family had a nice stay FD176 house. It’s a new place in a great location with easy access to the beach. The included golf cart is a huge plus. The only things that would have improve our stay is more towels and linens, some laundry detergent, blankets and more comfortable/larger beds. Communication with the management was prompt and helpful.

Father & Son Fishing Weekend 2024

We enjoyed our stay. However, the property did have some challenges. The gas grill, which the listing did not include, had excessive fat drippings in the bottom, and when we went to use it, the grease in the bottom caught on fire. The online list said the property could house 10 people, however, the kitchen was not equipped with enough coffee cups for 10 people. The was not a k-cup coffee maker, which I believe should be standard, along with the carafe coffee maker in every rental. There was not a disposal in the kitchen. I’m not sure what was up with that, but that seems to be pretty standard in homes I’ve rented previously. The kitchen was very disorganized and items were placed in several locations, i.e., cutting boards/mats were in 3 different places. The cookware was lacking. There were also not enough towels for 10 people to shower a second time without washing and drying towels. Even the men commented on how few towels were available. There was no information to give us trouble-shooting for internet connection and working the TV. Usually there is some sort of notebook that gives some help. This is not a property I would choose to recommend to others and will probably not choose to rent again. There were some light bulbs out in some of the fixtures that need to be taken care of. I am not going to write a bad review for publishing, because I really hate those. However, I wanted to give someone some feedback on the house.

Location!

We had a wonderful time and the house was perfect for our needs. Location to the beach couldn’t have been better:) The only negative (which did not keep us from having a fantastic time) was the cleanliness. The previous guest must have had a long haired pet, as there was a lot of dog hair everywhere. The back door and windows could have used a cleaning as well. However, those two minor issues did not affect our vacay! We would definitely return for another great trip!

Amazing house in Port A!

This property is great! We had our family of five plus three of our girls’ friends and had plenty of space. The house is new and very clean. Nestled in between Cinnamon Shore and Palmilla, the location on the island was perfect. The icing on top was the golf cart! It made the trips to and from the beach so much easier and was fun to drive around the neighborhood.

Wonderful Family Vacation

Beautiful home. Very comfortable to stay in. The lay out is great for 2 couples and children with 2 beds and baths downstairs and 2 bedrooms and 1 bath upstairs. The kitchen is beautiful and spacious. Enough room for everyone to work in. The back porch is a lovely place to sit and relax. It's shaded and looks out over the pond. Loved the golf cart. It was very helpful with little children and getting everything and everyone to the beach easily. Communication with the owner/property manager was great. They were very responsive. The beach was beautiful too.
