We appreciate that you recognized the home’s space, decor, pool, and location, but several points in your review need clarification. None of the pest-related concerns you mentioned, including the hornet nests and spider webs, were reported to us during your stay. Because these issues were never brought to our attention, we had no opportunity to inspect, verify, or address them while you were at the property. Regarding the game room, there was an initial misunderstanding about the access request, but once you called, the correct code was provided. We take maintenance and guest concerns seriously and respond when issues are actually reported. It is not reasonable to suggest that these concerns were neglected when they were never communicated to us during the reservation. Guests also have a responsibility to report issues when they occur so we can investigate and resolve them in real time; raising them only after checkout removes that opportunity and does not accurately reflect our responsiveness as hosts.

For context, the delayed check-in readiness was caused by the previous guest’s delayed checkout, which affected the cleaning timeline. The outside garbage cans had also been left out due to uncertainty surrounding the scheduled trash pickup. It is also important to note that no concerns regarding pests or an understocked kitchen were reported to us during the stay, so our team was not given the opportunity to inspect or address those claims at the time. We remain committed to maintaining the property properly and responding promptly whenever concerns are communicated during a reservation.
