Well-appointed cabin in great location

We loved our stay at dancing bear. The cabin is in an awesome location just a short walk from the HOA facilities, which was perfect for a a family with an infant who wanted easy, relaxing days. Roxane was communicative, and gracious, and went out of her way to expedite her A/C installation since Arnold was experiencing some warm weather at the time of our arrival. The cabin had everything we needed and more, from comfortable bedrooms to a great kitchen / living room area for family hangouts to baby toys and camp chairs we could borrow. We sincerely hope to return!

A delightful family holiday in Arnold!

Our family of 5 plus 2 grandparents loved staying here for our Christmas holiday. The home was clean, cozy, and spacious with beds for all 7 of us. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking holiday meals. We drove up to Bear Valley to ski for a day and a half, which was a quick and easy trip without traffic over the holiday weekend. The slopes were perfect for our beginner-level kids. We took walks and jogs in Blue Lake Springs neighborhood, and we loved a day trip to Angel's Camp for a meal and movie. All and all, a fantastic place to share a family holiday! Thank you for letting us enjoy your beautiful home this Christmas!

The house is thoughtfully furnished in a mountain-cabin style, with inviting sofas and dog beds for your pup. The downstairs bedrooms feature comfortable beds and quality bedding, along with a nicely renovated bathroom. The loft offers three additional beds (as pictured), making it a great space for extra guests, plus a second bathroom and a desk/workspace. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cookware. The Blue Lake Springs pool, lake, and amenities are directly across the street—perfect for family water fun. Roxanne communicated clearly, and the check-in/check-out process was seamless. Our family had a wonderful stay and already planning our return to Arnold.

Great cabin!

We had a wonderful time staying in Dancing Bear Cabin. We loved being across the street from Snowflake Lodge- we had fun swimming in the evenings and having the pool to ourselves. The cabin is clean, comfortable, and peaceful. My daughter especially loved the tire swing! It's a sweet spot in a magical area. Thanks!

We absolutely loved it! Very clean and Spacious!

I absolutely loved it the cabin was very clean and spacious! The kitchen had everything I needed for cooking and baking! The wrap around porch was beautiful! I could sit at the dining room table and watch the kids play in the snow right outside the porch ! There was lots of board games and a foosball table. There was something for everyone to do at all times . There was cable and Internet and my kids did not pick up their devices at all! And the Landlord Rocxanne was available before and during our stay. She was very nice and helpful. She answered All my calls and messages right away ! We have stayed in several cabins and this one by far is Our favorite! And again Rocxanne was so accommodating to us! It made our trip so much better! The Dancing bear is the perfect place to stay! We will definitely be returning to this beautiful home!

Rosemary and her family were terrific guests and we were happy they enjoyed such a fun wonderful stay with lots of snow to enjoy. Rosemary was friendly and took good care of the Dancing Bear Cabin. Since my kids are now grown and in their early 20's, I really enjoy hearing about youngsters enjoying the great outdoors at Blue Lake Springs and playing in and around the cabin. Thank you Rosemary! Very comfortable cabin in a great location

We loved the cabin very roomy and well equipped. My parents bought a cabin just around the corner in 1974 that they kept of over 20 years. Staying in Blue Lake Springs brought back many memories for me and created new ones for our grandchldren.

Fantastic family get away!

Our family just got back from a wonderful 5 night summer stay at the cabin. The cabin is less than a 5 min walk to the Blue Lake springs rec center which has great amenities including a huge swimming pool and small lake/pond area that even includes a small beach. The cabin is also only a short drive from Calevaras Big Trees state park as well as a number of caverns that have fun tours and activities. We went to Moaning Cavern which has a great guided tour and also has an area for kids to pan for minerals. We loved staying at the cabin and look forward to coming back again.

great family vacation!

Our family had a wonderful time playing in the snow and taking the kids out on the slopes. The cabin was wonderful, lots of space for everyone. The fireplace was great and kept us cozy. There were sleds for the kids. The kitchen supplies were a little dated, but we did not cook much so it was ok for us. The location was great, close to town and to the snow. The owner was exceptionally friendly, helpful and responsive. She helped us out when our travel plans changed last minute. We can't wait till next winter so we can rent this cabin again!!

Excellent Blue Lake Springs Rental!

The Dancing Bear is a wonderful home in a fantastic location! Everything that was written about the property was consistent with what we we experienced. The rental price was perfect for the home. The directions were precise and our expectations were met. The home, right off highway 4 and across the street from the amazing Blue Lake Springs pool and athletic complex. The home was very clean and everything worked exceptionally well. I would recommend the property to other renters, family and friends. Thank you for making a wonderful weekend at the Dancing Bear.

Fantastic cabin for a family vacation!

We had a wonderful time staying at this cabin! It is in the prefect location, just across the street from all the amenities at the Blue Lake Springs rec center. Although the pool was closed for the season during our visit, our 2yr old daughter was still able to play on the little playground and enjoy the pond. The cabin itself is very spacious with a great layout! The owners gave us so many great recommendations for places to eat, must-see areas, etc., and just made us feel very welcome. We definitely would stay at this cabin again and would highly recommend it for families looking for a great place to stay in Arnold!

Great Location for Family-friendly cabin

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin over the Labor day weekend. AS others have mentioned, the cabin is located directly across from the Blue Lake Springs Recreation area, which has all sorts of fun activities. This was a nicely furnished cabin with plenty of room to relax. Plus has an outdoor patio area to chill. The owners were very easy to work with and provided tips and recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the area. The cabin is BYO linens, which was not an issue. I would highly recommend this cabin for prospective renters.

Great Cabin

This was my first time in Arnold and we loved it. The location of the cabin was fantastic! The Blue Lake Springs Lodge was right across the street. This had a pool, lake, tennis courts, shuffle board and all kinds of activities for kids. The Cabin was spacious and my boys loved sleeping in the loft and playing foosball. We had a great quality family vacation! I would definitely rent this again.

Family friendly cabin

Cabin is conveniently located just a few steps away from Blue Lake Springs lodge and a 5 min drive to the entrance of Calaveras Big Trees State Park. The cabin layout is quite open making it easy for families to gather and spend quality time together. There is a large outdoor patio for dining or to enjoy a morning cup of coffee......only downside is that house sits at an intersection so you will hear cars going by ever so often (but only while outside and still relatively quiet). Kids really enjoyed the foosball table and the tire swing. Be sure and bring your own bed linens as these are not provided (we missed that in the follow-on instructions sent by owner). Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Home

My family loved this beautiful spacious home. My teenage girls loved the loft, the moon landing game and the tire swing.(believe it or not). The kitchen has everything you could need and there are plenty of games, books, movies to keep everyone happy. Very close to pool and lake. Big Trees State Park is two minutes up the road. Definitely recommend visiting! We will return in the winter. Thanks Roxanne for changing your rules about three nights to two to accommodate our busy schedule.

Wonderful family-friendly cabin, conveniently located and well-appointed!

Thank you for a wonderful stay in your pleasant Arnold home! We truly enjoyed the cabin even more each day that we were there -- and every night my daughters would ask if we had another night there in Arnold! I was so sad to say "no" on our last night! But, I'm confident that we'll be back to the area soon! There's just so much to do there in the Blue Lake Springs and Arnold area. Whether you like to ski at Bear Valley, hike and picnic in Big Trees State Park, or see the countryside by car, you'll find it all here in this nice part of beautiful California. One main benefit of staying in Arnold, at Dancing Bear cabin, is that you're just a few minutes drive from all of these wonderful locations. We truly enjoyed our hike in the pines which were just 5 minutes up the road, and a good day trip to Columbia which was just 30 minutes away. You cannot beat the central location of this residence! Along with a fantastic location, Dancing Bear cabin is perfect in its layout! We loved the open floor-plan and large dining room table where the whole family could enjoy dinner or play board games. The cabin is furnished with cozy decor, plenty of seating for a large crowd, and is stocked with the perfect kitchen supplies! There were excellent books for kids and adults and we had great fun with the legos, games and puzzles stored there at the cabin. We were very pleased with how well-maintained this home truly was. Our family of four fit nicely on the main floor of this cabin, however, there is a large loft that can comfortably accommodate many more guests. The cabin was easy to find and we enjoyed the location within the Blue Lake Springs neighborhood. Our kids loved the nearby playground, and we would love to return in the summer to swim in the neighborhood swimming pool. Many thanks to the owners of Dancing Bear who have set-up a great home for a wonderful visit to the Gold Country. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!

Dancing Bears Cabin Blue Lake Springs Arnold Ca.

Cabin was nicely laid out, tastefully renovated & quite clean. A 100 yard walk gets you to the facilities - pool/lake/tennis/ping pong/basketball/restaurant. Great for children! I would recommend this cabin year round - great snow skiing/winter sports 45 minutes away. Also access to Stanislaus River via a great state park, 15 minutes away.

Great family-friendly cabin

We stayed here over spring break with a grade schooler and a toddler. My kids loved the puzzles, books, and Foosball table. It's in a great location that's not too crowded but still just minutes from the center of Arnold. Bear Valley and Lake Alpine were about 40 minutes up the mountain, and gold country attractions like Columbia were about 40 minutes down the mountain.
