This property is just a few minutes' drive from Dock Square in Kennebunkport. This Beachside town, which offers specialty shops, restaurants, bars, fishing and boating charters, trails to bike or walk, and the picturesque beaches that sweep our Maine coastline for miles. Kennebunkport's most picturesque beaches are Goose Rocks Beach, where the sand is as fine as baking flour. Other beaches just across the town line in Kennebunk, Mother's Beach, have rock formations that create tidal pools for exploring tiny sea creatures. Mother's Beach is every child's favorite because of the playground next to the Beach. Also close are Middle Beach and Gooch's Beach, which offer the best fine sand for building contest-worthy sandcastles, surf for the most fantastic boogie board experiences, and a horizon for the most amazing sunrises and sunsets. Our town is a quaint fisherman's village that has developed over the years into a desirable destination for visitors and summer residents.

Guests have full access to Unit #1's side of the property and are encouraged to make themselves at home. Locked closets are intended to remain locked for the owner's privacy.

There is a fire pit in the back of the property, dedicated to Unit #1, for evenings under the stars, enjoying a cocktail, or resting while your dinner sizzles on the grill.

The grill is next to the shed for BOTH units to use. Please clean the grill after use.

Indulge in the tranquility of this tastefully designed space. This recently refurbished cottage is a home away from home, offering cozy beds, luxurious linens and towels, and a charming custom kitchen for preparing a delightful end-of-the-day charcuterie board. Its proximity to Kennebunkport's array of attractions, including stunning beaches, delectable restaurants, unique boutiques, nature trails, and a variety of boating adventures from kayaking to whale watching to lobster fishing, ensures a memorable stay.

This newly renovated cottage features two bedrooms, with an additional sunroom that can serve as an extra seating area or sleeping space. This cottage offers numerous amenities, including hardwood and tiled floors. There are wall-mounted mini-split heating and cooling units perfect for those few sticky nights in Maine. The full bathroom features a tub/shower stall, and in the entry/mudroom/laundry room, a full-size washer and dryer are provided for our guests' convenience. We offer a fully stocked kitchen with dishes, utensils, glassware, a toaster, a coffee maker, a blender, and all cooking needs, including a full-size refrigerator.

The ground-level bedroom features a queen-sized bed and a closet. It also features a sunroom, equipped with a full-size pullout couch that accommodates 1-2 people. The space is complemented by a couple of accent chairs, creating a seating arrangement designed for conversation and interaction.

The spacious upstairs loft bedroom features a king-sized bed and a large closet. This area has a desk with task lighting and a comfortable chair for those working remotely during their stay.

We also have four beach chairs and six beach towels on hand for your convenience while traveling. The entire cottage Unit#1, and the guests are encouraged to make themselves at home. There is a fire pit for the evenings to sit under the stars enjoying a cocktail or resting while your dinner sizzles on the grill.

There are public parking lots: one in the town center, behind Allison's Restaurant, and the other next to the North Street Fire Station.

Kennebunkport and Kennebunk are centrally located and easily accessible from Interstate 95, just between Portland, ME. And Portsmouth, NH.
There are Amtrak train stations in Saco and Wells, and Uber is available.
Portland's international jetport offers easy flights in and out of Maine.
Boston Logan is a short drive, and with a local vendor, pick-up and drop-off can be arranged.

A newly remodeled house that is tastefully decorated for our two week visit. The sun room was very enjoyable, the first floor bedroom a little small, but overall we had a great time and would stay there again.

A Conundrum of Sorts

The cottage is easy to find, beautiful to look at from the outside and very close to Kennebunk and Kennebunkport. The inside lacks a well thought out floor plan and amenities. There was not a coffee pot. Tight on toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags and no tissues in sight. There's an air of arrogance around the place (in the instructions - and they need to be updated or amended for use of the air-conditioning and TV as well) that doesn't match the website description and made it hard for us to relax and really enjoy the property.

Hi Mark, We appreciate you staying at our property. However, we are a bit shocked by your review. This space was decorated by a professional interior designer, which guests have commented on in the past. I dropped a coffee pot off immediately, along with coffee grinds for your enjoyment. In our welcoming email, we state we leave a starter set of all toiletries for you, which included (and, of course, you did not mention) Shampoo, Conditioner, Body wash, all hand and dish soaps, three rolls of toilet paper (I apologize that was not enough for your 3-night stay), a roll of paper towels. There is still a roll of garbage bags under the kitchen sink. The heating and TV are pretty straightforward; the TV is a Samsung smart TV that goes straight to the app center when turned on. If you needed additional help, had you reached out, I would have obliged. To say there was an air of arrogance, I agree now that you say this. There was an air of arrogance around your stay, which is evident in how you wrote the review. We try our best to accommodate everyone, but that is impossible at the end of the day.
