Experience the energy of New Orleans at The Eleanor, a vacation rental in the heart of downtown — just minutes from Bourbon Street, the French Quarter, Caesars Superdome, and Smoothie King Center. Whether you’re visiting for Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest, a concert, or just to enjoy the city's legendary nightlife, dining, and shopping - our location puts you steps from it all.

The space is great if traveling with family, friends, or any type of group. The space offers 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a full kitchen, dining table and living room with a queen size sleeper sofas. Two bedrooms have private bathrooms attached, while the last two bedrooms share a jack n jill style bathroom. All bathrooms are equipped with showers only. The living room offers a 65” TV and the bedrooms have a 55” TV. Each unit has a stacked washer and dryer for use during your stay as well. This unit also has a large outdoor patio (furniture currently on backorder) for entertaining.

The rooftop pool and hot tub are shared by all units in the property. The rooftop pool and hot tub are open daily from 8:00 am – 10:00pm, weather permitting. Our pool is not heated, and swimming is at your own risk. This area is designated as non-smoking.

We have a designated vaping area located on the 9th floor of the building. Smoking/vaping is strictly prohibited in our units and will set off our state of the art smoke alarm system.

The Eleanor New Orleans is located in Downtown New Orleans on Loyola Ave featuring 31 units that are 3-6 bedrooms and range from 1,178-1,959 sq ft. We are a locally owned and operated vacation rental in Downtown New Orleans on Loyola Avenue. Our arrival process is contactless, but our property manager and/or front desk staff are available 24/7 during your stay.

While our vacation rental does not offer parking, there are two public parking facilities conveniently located directly below the property. Rates are generally $20-30/24 hours (but will increase during special events and festivals). The two parking options are located just below our property. Park First Saratoga Garage #1025 and has a height clearance of 6’4”. The other option, ParkMobile Zone 50408 (surface lot), is also directly behind our building for overflow or oversized vehicles.

Superdome – 10 minute walk
Smoothie King Center – 10 minute walk

Transportation:
Amtrak (train) and Greyhound (bus) Stations – 0.7 miles, easily accessible via the Union Passenger Terminal via Canal St Streetcar (only $3/day on the Le Pass RTA app).

Louis Armstrong International Airport (MSY) – 14.4 miles (approx. 20 minutes without traffic) – There are many Uber/Lyft/Taxi cabs at the airport that are readily available to bring you downtown.

The Eleanor is located on a streetcar line. Use the streetcar to get to the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, City Park, Cemeteries and plenty of other areas along the way. We recommend downloading the Le Pass RTA app and getting a Jazzy Pass for getting around the city.

Pets are allowed for an additional fee of $135/stay (max 2 included). We have a designated pet relief area on the 9th floor, and there is also a grassy park located across the street from our units. Please let us know ahead of time if you are planning to bring a pet.

Early check-in or late check-out may be available for your stay for an additional fee of $300 for a 12pm arrival or $200 for a 2pm arrival. A late departure of 12pm would be an additional fee of $200 (an extra 2 hours). Unfortunately, we are unable to store luggage pre- or post-stay, so if you need to guarantee an earlier arrival or departure, we recommend booking the night before or after in order to guarantee anything earlier than the 2pm arrival or later than a 12pm departure.

We only require light cleaning prior to departure – taking out garbage and washing any dirty dishes. All linen is professionally laundered between guests.

Reservations are not confirmed until the Rental Agreement is signed. The Rental Agreement link will be sent to you immediately after booking.

You will have private access to your unit. The rooftop pool and hot tub are shared by all units in the building and is designated as a non-smoking area. The rooftop pool and hot tub are open daily from 8:00 am – 10:00pm, weather permitting. Our pool is not heated, and swimming is at your own risk.

We are located above a separately owned parking garage with a second surface lot just to the rear of our building. Their prices are generally $20-$30/24 hours (unless you’re coming over a special event or festival). The garage is Park First Saratoga Garage #1025. And the surface lot is ParkMobile Zone 50408.

Yearly trip

We have been traveling to New Orleans for 30 years. Our family now joins every year for a week together. We found the Eleanor this year, as our time share closed. We couldn’t have chose a more beautiful place. It is spotless!! The 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom was amazing for 7 people.shane answered every question. Promptly!Easy access, walking distance to the quarter, and plenty of Uber drivers to accommodate when raining. Thank you Shane, we will see you next year.

Clean/nice decor a bit blah

The property was well located and spacious. Balcony security light was a bit strong. Blinds in first hallway bedroom wasn’t blackout like all other rooms. Outside unit hallway flooring should be dampened. Guests roaring in at 3 am woke us. Id also recommends upping the very black decor.

Beautiful property

This property/penthouse unit we stayed in was absolutely beautiful; a little too quiet. Not a bad thing just something to get used to when everything echos. Bring your fan for the noise to sleep and you’re golden! We were in walking distance of everything we needed; grocery, PLENTY of restaurant options as well! Walked to the French market, bourbon and back with no issue at all! Would 100% recommend to others. The fridge water filter needed to be replaced but we did inform the property manager of such. Felt very safe having to have a code to access the building, elevator and different one for your unit. huikidjng
