Fort Sassafras: Zugang zum Lake Michigan Strand, privater Whirlpool, Feuerstelle, Terrasse

We're glad you enjoyed Fort Sassafras, including the home, hot tub, fire pit, and cleanliness. We do want to clarify for future guests that the beach mentioned in this review is a shared association beach and is not owned or controlled by the homeowner or our management company. Due to ongoing shoreline erosion, two pipes are visible in one area of the beach, which can be seen in the beach photos included in our listing. The association provides more than 1,000 feet of beach access, so guests are welcome to use the other areas of the beach as well.

Thank you for your kind words about the cabin, cleanliness, and our team’s responsiveness! We’re so glad you enjoyed the hot tub and your stay overall. We understand that stopping by the office can feel inconvenient, but our insurance requires us to obtain a copy of a valid photo ID before check-in. We try to make the process as quick as possible and truly appreciate your understanding. Thank you for mentioning the beach access as well—it’s a beautiful spot but does involve a stair climb, so your note will help future guests plan ahead. We hope to welcome you back soon!
