Modernes Haus am 1. 5 bewaldeten Morgen 1 Block vom Lake Michigan, südlich von Saugatuck / Douglas. Wir sind ca. 1, 5 Meilen nördlich von der Fennville Exit (34) direkt an der Lakeshore Drive.

Das Haus ist sehr modern, mit gewölbten Decken und große Fenster mit Blick auf den Wald. Moderne Küche mit Geräten aus Edelstahl und Corian-Arbeitsplatten. Voll Media-Center mit 50 "Plasma TV, Surround-Sound-Stereo-und Apple TV. Brand new Mitte des Jahrhunderts modernen Möbeln mit viel Platz für alle zu sitzen und zu entspannen. Wir haben viel der Vorstand und Hof-Spiele, um Sie beschäftigt an diesen Tagen Ihr nicht in der Nähe zu erkunden Saugatuck / Douglas oder aus in den Weinberg oder Cranes Obstgarten ein paar Meilen entfernt zu halten.

Dieses Haus verfügt über 3 Schlafzimmer. 2 Schlafzimmer im ersten Stock (Doppelbetten) ohne Bad und Schlafzimmer im zweiten Stock (König) mit eigenem Bad und Balkon. Alle Schlafzimmer haben neue Matratzen Beauty

Großen Platz im Freien mit 300 qm überdachte Veranda angrenzenden Wrap-around-Deck mit Whirlpool, die 6 Personen beherbergen können. Die Menge ist stark bewaldet so dass Sie viel Privatsphäre.

Das Haus ist direkt um die Ecke von Lake Michigan. Gehen Sie bis zum Ende der Straße, um die atemberaubende Lake Michigan Sonnenuntergänge zu sehen oder machen Sie einen Spaziergang oder eine Radtour bis Lake Shore Drive. Ein öffentlicher Strand mit Parkplätze stehen am Ende der Straße.

This location was quiet and away from crowds but a quick drive to all attractions. Really nice home and great neighborhood and access to the shoreline and amazing views just a block away.

The property was in a beautiful location. The hot tub was outstanding, the woods view incredible and the fire pit was wonderful for sitting around and visiting. The owner was very helpful with suggestions for places to go in the area and he was informative on everything we needed to know about our stay. The place was lovely. I look forward to returning.

Wonderful location and beautiful property

This home is really quite the find. It is beautifully appointed, and the owners have made sure that the home has all the conveniences available for guests that not a lot of VRBOs have these days. The hot tub, screened in porch and firepit area were wonderful on the cooler summer nights. Easy to get to wineries, downtown Sagautuck, and best of all - Lake Michigan!

The property was in a beautiful setting a short distance from Lake Michigan and cute Saugatuck Michigan. The house was very nice and well equipped. It was in great shape and very clean when we arrived. I would highly recommend it. Also, it is dog friendly.

Family weekend away

The house was as described in a nice, quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed our early morning walks along Lake Shore Avenue and it was a quick drive to the State Parks to go for walks that ended up on the beach. It was a nice family get together. The king sized bed was very comfortable. Overall my family (all 30+) enjoyed their stay.

The house had everything you might need with a well stocked kitchen, wood for the fire and a place for everyone. Loved the option of a screened porch. Bedroom setup was perfect. Beautiful home! Great location!

This beautiful vacation home was perfect for our family of six. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, chilling on the screened in porch and making smores in the evening at the fire pit. Several beaches were a quick drive from the house. Dozens of great restaurants were nearby and the shopping at Saugatuck and Holland was perfect. Our crew enjoyed the donut pontoon boats from Retro Boat Rentals. The house was nicely decorated with comfortable beds and large screened TVs in the living room and master bedroom. The kitchen was well-stocked and there were several games onhand. Overall great rental and experience.

It’s a shame that this seemingly nice house was in such bad condition. The screened porch sofa was unusable because the sofa cushions were stained and moldy. Carpeting throughout the house, especially stairs and primary bedroom, were stained from apparently pet accidents. The furniture was generally in terrible shape—cigarette burn in the living room sofa, dining chair cushions unraveling, appallingly scuffed and stained coffee table, etc. Barely cleaned—as evidenced by stained dinner ware and disgusting primary bath shelving with dozens of tampons. The house just feels unkempt and uncleaned. Owner was very responsive to refrigerator and sink leaks, but the overall condition of the house was deplorable.

Thanks for your comments. We were up there two weeks after you and agreed. We are disappointed that the cleaning crew didn’t alert us to the carpeting and sone of the repairs that were needed. We spent the week there cleaning carpet and upholstery top to bottom. Fixing the items that needed repair and cleaning the screen porch. We did all this at the beginning of the season and couldn’t believe it got this bad over such a short period of time. This will not happen again. Sorry our home did not meet your expectations.

Terrific!

We spent three lovely days here. The house and setting are both exactly as pictured. Well equipped and very comfortable. The fireplace and the hot tub were fantastic additions to our restful time here. Perfectly situated in the woods but very close to the highway and just a few minutes to Fennville, Douglas and Saugutuck. The lake is very high so its pretty difficult to get down to the beach from the public access closest to the house, but there are many other places to get to the lake (when it isn't raining and windy). All in all a perfect getaway close to Chicago that seems a world away.

Woodsy couple blocks walk to Lake MI

Nice location in the woods a couple blocks walk to Lake MI. Many close by state parks and Oval beach about a 15 min drive which is beautiful! Enjoyed the sauna and new deck. Very little back yard with nice fire pit. House needs work. Needs a deep clean, walls and floors, bathroom tile, screen door and other. We had to clean the front porch, screen porch, deck and grill before we could use. Trash over flowing in garbage out by the street, poop from previous renters, etc. The house is great for space but not cozy. Many other dissatisfactions. Would not rent again. Way over priced.

Lori, I’m so sorry you didn’t enjoy your stay. I wish you would have let us know what issues you were having so we could have corrected them. We were up there two weeks prior to your stay and did a deep clean ourselves and had the carpets cleaned. As for the trash, you arrived on Sunday and trash day was Monday so I assume that was rectified quickly. As. Far as your comment about not being cozy, most everyone that stays there feels the opposite. It sounds like this house was just not for you. Again sorry you didn’t enjoy your stay.

Wonderful Saugatuk Friend Weekend House

The house is as-described in terms of location (short walk down the road to the lake), amenities & space. It's a modern nicely decorated home, the hot tub & fire pit are great outside features. You feel very secluded even though there are houses not too far away. The kitchen had everything we needed, & we spent a lot of time on the deck enjoying the forest & early fall weather. Short drive to Saugatuk, where we spent most of our time hiking, eating & shopping. Upon arrival we noticed & loved all the above features, but were very disappointed in the cleanliness of the interior of the house. I would guess that the cleaners did the bathrooms & kitchen, that's it. The floors were extremely dirty, we swept up two dogs' worth of hair & tons of little sticks & leaves. There were crumpled sheets in one of the closets so we couldn't tell if the sheets had been changed or not. The master bed was full of dog hair & some marks, so we washed those. The coffee tables and side tables were thick with dust. I would really recommend a different cleaning company to come & deep clean the house. There were 5 women in our group, so maybe bring an extra hair dryer as the house has only one- but that wasn't that big of a deal. If the house had been cleaner it would have been 6 stars out of 5, but it did drop my rating to 4. Bob was responsive & offered to have the cleaners come back, but we had settled in at that point & weren't sure it would really improve. Would return if cleaner for sure.

Our cleaner was sick for a few weeks and had her crew go without her and I guess they didnt have a very good eye for cleanliness. We have discussed this with her and now they send pictures when they are done to make sure it's up to our standards. It shouldn't be a problem again.

Beautiful, Private Place to Stay

This house was great. It's surrounded by trees which made it feel private, but it's also just a couple blocks to the beach for wonderful sunsets. The inside space is ideal for everyone hanging out together and the hot tub was fantastic for cool evening dips.

We have been coming to the area for several years and have always enjoyed the small town atmosphere. We looked for over a year for the perfect place to build our vacation home. We love the closeness to the beach as well as the privacy of the woods. We love the fact that you can have just as much fun staying at the house all week but if you want to go out or have a nice dinner Saugatuck is a short drive away.
