Obwohl es nur 20 Minuten von Woodstock Hamlet, Phoenicia und Kingston entfernt ist, gibt es auf der anderen Straßenseite (im Bach) ein Naturschutzgebiet, 9 Morgen Rasen und ein Schwimmloch. 2 Schlafzimmer, offen und luftig mit 2 Sätzen von französischen Türen. Große abgeschirmte Veranda mit Blick auf Bäume und Berge. Gasherd / KAMIN im Wohn- / Ess- / Küchenbereich. Möbel sind handgefertigte Harthölzer. 1. Schlafzimmer-Queen-Bett. 2. Schlafzimmer 1 Doppelkoje. Der Wohnbereich verfügt über Futon und eine Futon-Matratze.

Warm in front of the fire on a rainy weekend

We had the best time staying at the cabin. It's very family friendly, clean, comfortable, and is super new. The surroundings are beautiful. We had a great time celebrating our anniversary and exploring the grounds with our toddler. I highly recommend this property.

Lovely Cabin in the mountains

We had a great time over the 4th. The home itself is clean and simple with everything we needed. Screened in porch is the highlight. The swimming hole is a dream and proximity to towns on 28 was great for grocery runs. We will be back!

Perfect cabin for relaxation

This cabin is cozy, clutter-free, clean, functional, and simple. We enjoyed our stay immensely. The thoughtful books and toys for kids helped keep them occupied during quiet time. We were thankfully warned about this, but make sure to bring a good set of tweezers: we did find ticks on ourselves and had to remove them.

Beautiful Cabin and Swimming Hole

Lovely cabin in beautiful setting. A highlight was relaxing in the comfortable sofa and rockers on the screened porch. Equipped with all you need. Great large lawn for Frisbee (or anything else). Easy access to Phoenicia and Woodstock. And the swimming hole! Beautiful, private, with cool flowing water, can’t be beat on a warm day. Very responsive and helpful hosts. Will be back!

Great Stay

The place is a bit difficult to locate as the sign (house number) is not that clear. Google map was not precise. But the cabin was great. It was clean and very comfortable. Memoria Day weekend was a bit hot. When I walked in, its AC was already on. The kitchen was equipped. The owner was very friendly and accessible. All in all, it was a great experience.

Amazing location

We had a relaxing time with our two young children here. We had a perfect long weekend. Maureen is very welcoming and an excellent host. I hope we can come back in the future. The cabin was immaculate and cozy. The walk to the stream was peaceful (just watch for the cars in crossing the street). My kids loved the bunk beds. I wish I brought food to cook... we ended up in Kingston for dinner one night and Woodstock brewery the next. Both locations were amazing - however, we could've cooked a huge meal and been happy to stay on the property all weekend. Thank you, Maureen and Paul - for renting out this cute cabin!

The Perfect Get Away!

A wonderful property! I stayed this weekend and had a marvelous time. The home itself is nestled in woods with all the peace and tranquility that has to offer. That said, there are any number of wonderful things and places to go and see within a very short distance. If you like to hike, you will be spoiled for choice for any number of first rate hikes in the immediate vicinity. No matter the season, this is an art or nature lover's treat! There are great places to eat, galleries, playhouses, even the Zen Monastery, all nearby. The house itself was delightful and very clean. Newly built, it is well insulated and was very comfortable. All needs have been thoughtfully anticipated. The host was a pleasure to deal with and very helpful with directions and recommendations. I'm already looking forward to another stay! Thanks again!

Beautiful New Cabin

My family and I went on a little summer vacation to escape our busy lives in the city so we rented this beautiful brand new cabin in the Catskills. As soon as we walked in the cabin it excelled our expectations. We loved the brand new wood smell and then fact that the cabin was very clean and nicely decorated. All sheets and towels were new, neatly organized and clean. The property was well maintained and we really enjoyed making s'mores on the fire pit outside. The owner Maureen was very nice and helpful with directions, things to do as well as making the rental process simple. She even made sure to send us our deposit back very promptly. The only reason I did not give this property 5 stars is because there was no cel phone signal or landline. I have a 6 month old baby so I was worried that in case of an emergency we would have to drive 15 minutes away in order to get phone signal. There was no cable TV or WiFi either. The owner Maureen did mention the cabin was brand new and because of that reason they didn't have any of these services yet but that they are on the works to get all these amenities installed soon. I will definitely come back with my family in a near future and hopefully be able to use the extra amenities. This cabin also haves a fully equipped kitchen (Fridge, Stove, Utensils, Cups, Plates, etc) with the only con that they do not have any microwave which was a bummer since we had brought some microwavable popcorn and also there are no fans. It can get a bit hot in the summer time there but not uncomfortable. I brought a fan with us and it helped making the temperature inside the cabin pleasant. The wrap around porch was very nice and cool which made up for the lack of fan or AC inside. Hopefully they will add these features in the future. I was hoping the cabin was closer to Woodstock however its not too far away. Cabin is about 20 minutes from Woodstock and 10 minutes from Phoenicia so we got to visit both lovely towns. In a whole we enjoyed our stay and liked that they have board games on site which made our family time more enjoyable. Looking forward to our next visit!!

(I just want to mention, the cabin will always be accurately advertised. At the time of this guest visit- we did not have WiFi/Phone. We had not advertised having these services and in addition: I verbally at booking and later in writing when I sent directions, reminded previous guests that the cabin did not- at that time- have these services). Great cabin near skiing

This property was exactly what we needed. A cozy cabin had everything we needed. This house is stocked with everything you need. We cooked breakfast before we went skiing. Originally we were going to Windham but Maureen recommended Belleayre and it turned out to be the best thing for us. Only 20 mins away from the cabin. The kids enjoyed the WiFi while me and my wife enjoyed the peaceful setting of the cabin. Definitely recommend it for anyone who wants a quiet peaceful time. Maureen thanks again for letting my family enjoy your cabin and I would definitely like to come back.

city girls weekend getaway

We had a great girls weekend getaway. It was exactly what we needed. Cabin was lovely. Great location. Even in October, swimming hole was inviting. We could only imagine how great it is in the summer. Cabin is convenient to hiking trails and Woodstock. Maureen answered all questions promptly and made sure we felt comfortable and safe during our stay. Before weekend was over, we were already planning on booking our next stay. Cabin was not only perfect for a group of four city girls, but equipped for a family. Thank you Maureen and Paul for sharing such quaint and cozy place with us!

Amazing and Lovely Place

We wanted to get away for labor day weekend. We loved the initial sense of being in the away from the city and in the country. The trees around the property create a great sense of privacy. The cabin itself was very clean, neat and very cozy. The private watering hole made the trip even better. Overall we had a great time and really enjoyed the weekend.

Relaxation in the woods

Wonderful Cabin Near Phoenicia/Woodstock

This is a newer build offering great access to both Phoenicia and Woodstock. Probably the best feature is the land itself--lots of acreage offering near complete seclusion. Perfect rental for a small family (master plus one bedroom with bunk beds) or for a couple's retreat. Only suggestion would be for some improved signage from the road; not the easiest to find when traveling along Rt. 212.

Perfect cabin in the woods

I was there with a few friends for a weekend of hiking in the winter woods, it was perfect. The cabin is clean, cozy and warm. The hosts were extremely helpful, too! Can't recommend enough!

Great family getaway

My wife and 2 young children stayed at the cabin after Christmas this year. It is a beautiful, cozy little cabin on plenty of land. While it is nice and quiet, it's also close to Woodstock, skiing and plenty of great hikes. The swimming hole across the street is very cool looking. We hope to come back in the summer to enjoy that! Maureen is also very nice and helpful with suggestions on activities.

Wonderful cozy cabin for family getaway

Our family of five stayed in this cabin for a fall weekend and it was wonderful. The cabin is exactly as described, it was spotless and warm when we arrived. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including to cook our own meals at home. Our little girls stayed in the bunk beds and the bedroom with the queen bed had enough room to put a pack and play for our baby. We enjoyed exploring the area and would highly recommend the property to others! Thank you Maureen.

Log cabin 2.5 hours from Manhattan in the Catskill Recreation Park. Surrounded by nature, mountains, streams and rivers, it is a serene area. There is the rail trail for walking, the Esopus river for fishing, Kenneth Wilson State park, mountains to climb, Phoenicia and Woodstock Hamlet to explore. All within 15 sit minutes in either direction.

The property is 9 acres with a large lawn and view of mountains. There is a lot of preserved land in the immediate area, but the property is off a main road. It is private and peaceful. There is a wide range of activities in the area.
