Great little condo for a relaxing vacation!

We thoroughly enjoyed this condo during the month of Feb 2019. This one bedroom condo was perfect for one couple, amenities were good, the washer & dryer were very handy, the owner was very responsive to our questions, and the tennis courts were great. The balcony was our favourite spot - always sunny with a wonderful view of the sailboats and surfers in the bay!! We have already made arrangements to come back next year 😊

Beautiful location at a reasonable price!

My wife and I stayed for 5 days and we loved the condo. The pool and hot tub were excellent and everything was in walkable distances to get around. We loved Punta Mita and the Alcote condos were perfect! Thank you. We will likely be returning!

Lovely deck view!!

We recently stayed in this condo and had a wonderful vacation! The whale watching from the deck was probably our favorite thing! We loved the pool, which was never crowded, that was right in front of the condo. A short walk down the stairs and around the condo and you're at the pool. There are wonderful restaurants just down the street and some hidden gems within the close by towns. The condo was a wonderful place to lay our heads and rest so we could have adventures during the day. Highly recommend Punta Mita if you want a relaxing, more laid back vacation!

Peaceful and Safe

We had a great week at this condo. If we were coming back to Punta de Mita (or anywhere close by) we would definitely stay here again. Safe, clean, lots of restaurants and even a solid surf break right out front.

Winston was a fabulous host, enjoyed our stay. Kitchen had everything we needed! Place was close to the beach. Great surfing! So much fun. I’d definitely go back! Also great bonus was the pool!

Perfect home away from home in Mexico

It's hard to add to the already accurate and positive reviews on this spacious, comfortable, one bedroom condo with spectacular views of the Bahia de Banderas. The washer & dryer were a plus. And boy was I thankful for the use of the binoculars! I enjoyed watching the whales everyday from the verandah. The pool was a nice, relaxing area to spend the late afternoon after having surfed in the morning. And being able to easily walk to shopping, markets, and restaurants in the evenings was perfect. I would not hesitate to stay here again during future trips to El Anclote/Punta de Mita!

Great location, perfectly appointed

I've been to Punta Mita over a dozen times. This is the first time I have stayed in El Anclote. The condo is on the 3rd floor, thus has a gorgeous view of the Bay. It is right by the pool, and the complex is perfectly centrally located in town. The condo is clean, with no "punta Mita sewer smell" so common in other locations. The internet is seamless, the shower water hot and with excellent pressure, the kitchen well appointed. Bedding comfortable. Did not use the AC often but when I did it was excellent. Will definitely use this location as my new go-to.

Best One Bedroom on the Property!

Our stay in Winston's condo was absolutely fantastic. We've stayed at several other condos on the same property and this one has the best view, the friendliest owners and the condo is not over-stuffed with unnecessary furniture or knickknacks. This condo is furnished with simple yet functional amenities! Everything we needed was there. The bed is super comfortable. The kitchen is stocked, the BlendTech blender was the absolute icing on the cake. Smoothies every morning with fresh tropical fruits. Punta Mita is a quiet town with fantastic surf breaks. You can see three of them from the balcony of this unit! Short walking distance to to the local tienda where you can find all the staples you will need. Great restaurants along the beach. The pool at the condo is clean and a great place to spend the day with your kiddo. We can't wait for our next trip down!

great place

the view, the view! this condo was amazing. very clean and had everything we were looking for in a rental. Comfortable bed and furniture. fully stocked kitchen and loved the blendtech for making smoothies and margaritas. the location cant be beat. walking distance to all restaurants, shops and beach. Amazing surfing right out the door. can't wait to go back next year.

Extremely Comfortable!

We loved staying here, it was perfect. We stayed with our two children, they slept on a comfy couch or the air mattresses provided. Bed was SO comfy oh my! So clean, and smelled really nice upon entry. Felt like home. Lovely people all around the condos, pool was divine. Worth every penny and the neighbourhood is so great for food and shops. A really nice grocery store that carried a lot of organic and import things from home - Canada/US. The staff is so wonderful and helpful. Lovely view of the sun rise and the ocean from the little balcony patio. Excellent kitchen facility and washer and dryer. Nice shower with great water pressure and lovely bathroom. All around highly recommend this for a home away from home feel and stay!

remarkable find

Punta Mita is a remarkable little jewel and this sweet penthouse condo is exactly the place from which to experience it! We basically lived in the ocean, either surfing or fishing the whole time! The complex is safe and perfectly located with a lovely pool and spa. Walk to a slew of great restaurants, all of them quite reasonable. We needed wheels as the best surf beach, La Lancha is an easy 8 minute drive. Efficient small space that was perfect for our group of three. Definitely a place we would return to time and time again....

Perfect venue for a relaxing, mellow, comfortable stay.

My husband and I spent ten days at this condo back in April and we wish we could be there now! The top floor allowed for great views off the back deck where we lingered over coffee and made our surf plans for the day. The kitchen was nicely appointed with supplies that allowed us to cook most of our meals. The furniture was all clean and comfortable. The washer/dryer was super convenient. The pool was clean and refreshing. All of the employees were friendly, conscientious, and gracious as we worked hard to speak Spanish. Internet was fast and reliable. We liked that there was no tv. We would definitely stay there again. The condo complex is very safe and centrally located for surfing, paddle boarding, and a short walk to sandy beaches. We thought that punta mita was a great place to spend time and we found the bus travel to be super easy.

Terrific choice in Punta de Mita

This is a really great place. The size was just right for a couple and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped, including a large drinking water dispenser (we brought a big bottle which was totally unnecessary). The location would have been handy for surf, if there had been any surf :-) It was a short drive to a couple of surf spots which were breaking despite the tiny swell. We appreciated the very friendly guards at the gate and the pushbutton combination lock on the door. We never worried about a thing, and the town is very nice and safe and everything you need is walking distance including many restaurants, groceries and pharmacy. The pool and Jacuzzi were great and the deck furniture was very good. Very noisy birds convene in the trees by the parking lot and really raise a racket at sunup and sundown, but it would be hard to complain about that! All in all, it's a lovely condo and we would stay there again.

Clean, Bright and Wonderful!!!

Our family had a wonderful time visiting Punta de Mita. We took the bus from the airport to start our vacation. What a great visit. We took the bus all over, and with very little spoken Spanish. The condo was great, appointed just right, the view spectacular, the binoculars were most helpful in spying surf spots and conditions. Food in town was great and the local mini-supers had the fruit fresh to eat. We would like to visit again in the future with our son and to surf more of the spots in the area, and work on our Spanish. The locals were super friendly in town and in the water. Great Vibe.

little bit of paradise in Mexico

From the balcony one can see the whales and listen to the ocean waves. The complex is very convenient to the beach, shops and restaurants and the employees there are so friendly. The condo is very comfortable and had all the necessities and the owners are very accommodating. It's a nice little village in a beautiful setting with the condo in a magnificent location as seen a boat.

The very best winter vacation spot we have ever been to

It was a wonderful vacation spot. It certainly was the flavor of Old Mexico but with all the comforts of home. It was like a small neighborhood of friends and we felt completely secure and safe at all times. The setting couldn't have been better with the ocean shore and the wonderful swimming pool right out our door. It is a small quiet Mexican village that we shopped and walked the streets of, but when we wanted more excitement it was 30 minutes away in any direction.

Relaxing and Great Location

We had a relaxing and great trip to Punta de Mita. Having not been to this area of Mexico the condo was in a perfect location. About 40 minutes north of the Puerta Vallarta airport, we never needed a car and could walk everywhere or take a bus for bigger excursions. The condo is close to the beach where we went in the mornings to paddle board, kayak and swim and had a super nice and clean pool for the afternoons. The markets, restaurants and shops were minutes away by foot and you cannot beat the view of this top floor condo. The owners were more than helpful whenever we needed something as well as the employees of the complex.

Perfect view and easy access

Cannot say enough about our long weekend. Great view of ocean and pool, easy access to restaurants and shops across the street thru the sky bridge. Condo was great and well outfitted. Loved Punta Mita so much, we are looking to buy. I expect to stay here several more times while we are deciding on our own slice of heaven.

Great location; central to activities. Pool was great. Restaurant recommendations were spot on. Condo could use some updating; toilet was broken with handle constantly falling off, shower didn't drain well, pull out sofa was not comfortable. Bed in the master bedroom was comfy though so would recommend for couple only.

As for her complaints, she could have mentioned the repairs and they would have been taken care of right away. I had no idea at the time. They could have also used the very comfy blow up mattress available for sleeping instead of the hide abed. I don't know of any that are comfortable. Shower and toilet are now fixed and there is a new large couch someone could sleep on.

Overall great vacation

My boyfriend and I wanted a quiet sunny beach getaway from the grey skies of Seattle and this condo was perfect. Punta de Mita is a lovely quiet town (except for the roosters and dog fights... - bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper!) with great restaurants and easy beach access. We were hoping for a little better surf, but one can't control the waves. The owner, Winston, nicely let us use his long board which meant we could avoid paying to rent a board when the waves were minimal, but rather watch the breaks from the deck and grab his board when we saw something rideable. The view from the deck is unbeatable. The condo itself was clean and cute with solid wifi and a great blender. The complex is well maintained and Winston was quick to respond to any of our inquiries. We rented a car and drove up to Sayulita for a couple days as its only about a 15 minute drive. The vibe there is totally different. Its a much larger town with more of a surfer/artsy/hippy culture. The surf was better and the beaches more swimmable (Punta is a little rocky), but it was PACKED with tourists. It was nice to visit, but we were happy to retreat back to our quiet condo at the end of the day.
