Recently completed, this stunning mountain-style chalet rests atop a hill on 20 acres of private woodland on the south shores of Lake Content. You will find everything you need for a peaceful and enjoyable vacation or retreat up north. Our private dock gives you access to 1880 acres of the Big St Germain Lake chain for great fishing, boating and swimming. You will also have an acre of shallow sandy waterfront for family fun or just relaxing in the sun. Speaking of fun, when you‘ve had enough swimming, watersports, and fishing (if at all possible!) you will find the Heart of Vilas County 52-mile paved bike trail at the end of our driveway. Explore our property or the Awassa Nature Preserve and Hiking Trail which is only ¾ mile away. Golf? The St Germain Golf Course is only a 2-minute drive. For you snowmobile enthusiasts, the Bo-Boen trail is directly accessible from our driveway. At the end of the day, you can enjoy the private solace of a fire in the furnished firepit area and view a night sky filled with stars (at times even the northern lights!). Even with all this privacy, the St Germain community park, playground, and grocery store are only a mile and a half away! Two kayaks with lifejackets are available for your use near our dock. A bait shop and several places where you can rent boats, paddleboards, bicycles, snowmobiles and other toys are available in town.

This listing includes the upper two levels of our luxury vacation home with a view of the lake that will take your breath away. It boasts 3 large private bedrooms and a loft sleeping area for up to 7 – all with lake views. You’ll also have 2 ½ baths and full-width front porch and lakeside deck with gas grill and plenty of seating to watch those beautiful morning sunrises. The Great Room has a gas fireplace and large sectional for enjoying the spectacular view through a wall of windows or watching TV on those rainy days inside. The kitchen has an incredible amount of cabinet and pantry space, a dual-fuel range, a microwave, and a French-door refrigerator. At the end of the granite countertop, you will find a 6-person bar with an ice maker. The hickory dining table easily seats 12 and the tables on the lake-side deck seat another 12. Walk down the hillside stairs or trail to the lakeshore area with a picnic table and private dock space for your boat and other water toys. Another table with four chairs sits on the dock for relaxing and viewing all the eagles and loons during the warm months.
