Recently renovated, this 1400-sf tastefully furnished cabin is walking distance from the south shore of Lake Content. As with our adjacent property, Eagles Bluff, we offer everything you need for a great time in the Wisconsin Northwoods but without a steep price. Whitetail Crossing greets you through a coat room off the back deck as you continue into a spacious kitchen, dining, bar and Great Room. At the end of the hall, you’ll find three large bedrooms and a full bath. The large wrap-around elevated deck provides a conversation area and dining area with a gas grill where your group can enjoy the outdoor privacy and splendor of tall trees and a small pond with a trickling waterfall. Walk or drive to our private dock which gives you access to 1880 acres of the Big St Germain Lake chain for great fishing, boating and swimming. Speaking of access to fun, when you‘ve had enough swimming, watersports, and fishing (if at all possible!) you will find the Heart of Vilas County 52-mile paved bike trail at the end of one of our driveways. Explore our property or the Awassa Nature Preserve and Hiking Trail which is only ¾ mile away. Golf? The St Germain Golf Course is only a 2-minute drive. For you snowmobile enthusiasts, the Bo-Boen trail is directly accessible from our driveway. At the end of the day, you can enjoy the private solace of a fire in the furnished firepit area and view a night sky filled with stars (at times even the northern lights!). Even with all this privacy, the St Germain community park, playground, and grocery store are only a mile and a half away! A bait shop and several places where you can rent boats, paddleboards, bicycles, snowmobiles and other toys are available in town.

Even with all these amenities, we are not done. The lower level of this walk-out cabin is being completed for a future recreation room, 2nd full bathroom and fourth bedroom. Other exterior and site improvements are in process, so you have more to look forward to when you return. Also remember that Eagles Bluff, our large luxury lake home on 20 acres, is right next door and can be jointly rented with Whitetail Crossing.
