Perfect location and stay

The location was really walkable to almost everything we wanted to do. We had to drive to Acadia, but it wasn’t far at all. The place was great, lot of fun little nooks for the kids to explore.

This was a lovely apartment, within easy walking distance of downtown Bar Harbor without feeling crowded. Chris ensured we were all set for our stay and was flexible with our arrival timing. Would happily stay here again!

Clean, comfortable, and great location

The place was very clean, beds were comfortable, windows provided great breeze. We had everything we needed. The location provided wonderful walkable access to Bar Harbor and easy access to Acadia National Park.

Bar Harbor two bedrooms

Bar Harbor is such a cute town and we really enjoyed our visit. There are lots of steps at this apartment and it was not easy to find the actual front door but once we got inside, it was quite lovely. We really enjoyed the restaurants and the access to everything being so close by. Very walkable. Enjoyed Acadia National park and visiting the port area for tours. Lots of great restaurant options very close by. I highly recommend this property more as kid friendly than adult retreat. This unit is very kid oriented with tiny beds and lots of toys.

Summer Vacation to New England

Location was perfect! We loved being directly across from the sand bar, close to bicycle Rentals and easy walk downtown. The beds were not super comfortable but after a big day biking and walking around it didn’t matter. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great time in Bar Harbor!

Perfect location for great stay in Bar Harbor

Our family enjoyed a wonderful 3 nights in Bar Harbor at this house. It was very useful to have off street parking during the busy holiday season. The location is perfect to walk to shops and beach. Great location in Bar Harbor

Chris's unit is great and is advertised. Check in was easy. The location is fantastic - a quick 2-3 minute walk to Jordan's / Hannafords for a quick breakfast or the grocery store. A ten minute walk puts you right in the heart of Bar Harbor's down town. The bar and a walk around Bar Island is even closer. A great location for a stay in Bar Harbor!

Perfect Bar Harbor Location

This location is idea for a people planning to stay in Bar Harbor for a few days. Easy to walk to great locations or drive to other places. The apartment is big and plenty of room for people. Love the parking, saves a lot of time. Tom was great, easy to connect with and had the location ready early. Highly recommend.

Relaxing in Bar Harbor

The apartment was just what we needed- walking distance to lots of great restaurants and the actual Sandbar that sparked the name Bar Harbor, easy drive into Acadia National Park for sunrise and early morning hiking. Nicely organized kitchen and open concept made relaxing easy. Note that the WiFi can be sketchy- bring a book!!

Fantastic spot in Bar Harbor - A+

Chris and Tom's Bar Harbor place was *perfect* for our Maine vacation. The location is unbeatable -- a few blocks from uptown Bar Harbor - shops, grocery store, etc, a quick drive to Acadia/Cadillac, and a block from the Bar Island tidal walk. The apartment itself was spotless, with everything we needed for a comfortable, relaxed getaway for our family (2 adults / 3 teens/young-adults). Lots of space for all of us and convenient off-street parking. Chris and Tom were fantastic hosts - very responsive to our messages and questions. Overall A+ stay. Cannot wait to visit again!

Excellent location

This is the perfect place to stay with a family. Only 800 feet from the tidepool and sandbar that Bar Harbor is named after and about a 3-minute walk into town and a 2-minute walk to the grocery store. House is clean and the gate at the top of the stairs is a great feature if you have kids. My only recommendation for future guest is, while they have a TV it’s DVD only. Bring your own DVDs. This property is a great place to relax after a long day of hiking.
