Diese gut eingerichtete, kĂŒrzlich renovierte Wohnung im ersten Stock befindet sich in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße im Herzen von Bar Harbor. Dies ist eine neue HomeAway-Unterkunft, die ab August 2018 verfĂŒgbar ist. Das Haus ist nur wenige Schritte vom Bar Island Path, dem Shore Path, Harborfront, Village Green, Restaurants, GeschĂ€ften, LebensmittelgeschĂ€ft, Kino, Museum, Banken, Post, Drogerie und allen Annehmlichkeiten des Dorfes entfernt. Bar Harbor ist ein fußlĂ€ufiges Ziel mit Verbindungswegen zum Acadia-Nationalpark und einem kostenlosen Island Explorer-Bus in der NĂ€he des Village Green.

Die gerĂ€umige Wohnung im ersten Stock verfĂŒgt ĂŒber eine Eingangshalle, ein Schlafzimmer mit einem Queensize-Bett, ein komplettes Badezimmer mit Badewanne / Dusche, eine voll ausgestattete KĂŒche mit KrĂ€utern, GewĂŒrzen, Kaffee und Tee sowie alle anderen KĂŒchenutensilien und HaushaltsgerĂ€te. Die KĂŒche öffnet sich zu einem großen Ess- / Sitzbereich, einem Tisch fĂŒr vier Personen und einem Sitzbereich, der in ein großes Bett umgewandelt werden kann. Aus der KĂŒche / großen Raum ist eine WaschkĂŒche und ein separates Wohnzimmer mit einem großen Schnittsofa und Flachbildfernseher.

Das Eingangsdeck neben der KĂŒche verfĂŒgt ĂŒber einen Gasgrill und die Veranda mit Blick auf den Garten ist ein wunderbarer Ort, um Ihren Morgenkaffee zu schlĂŒrfen oder ein Glas Wein in der warmen Sonne des spĂ€ten Nachmittags zu genießen.

This was our second stay at this property. Loved it last year so booked it again this year. Loved it just as much this year. The best feature of this property is it's location. Right in the middle of town. Never had to find parking for anything in town. Just parked on the property and walked to everything we wanted to do. Also it is only a couple minutes drive to several different Acadia NP entrances. Plus, everything we needed was on hand. I noticed that there were several interior updates since last year which made the place even nicer and cozier. My wife and I love Maine and especially Bar Harbor and Acadia NP. This was our 8th time visiting the area and the last two were at this property. If we ever get to come back again, this will be the first property I look up. 10/10 rating. Thumbs up. A rating.

The location was perfect for walking around in bar harbor. Right on the corner from an excellent French restaurant and the house itself was beautiful inside and out. Would absolutely stay again and Doug was an excellent host and very accommodating. No notes :)

This place was very nice with a perfect location. You can park your car in the driveway and walk everywhere. The kitchen had everything you need including spices. 2 living rooms and a nice bedroom. Host was very accommodating. Would stay there again. Highly recommend.

Our stay in Bar Harbor was made easier and nicer by staying at Doug's apartment. Everything is clean with beautiful attention to detail. Many extras available to help prepare meals or fill in forgotten toiletries. Doug was very responsive and helpful to my many questions! The location right in town is super helpful to be able park your car and walk lots of places!

Where Mountains meet Ocean

This is one our favorite regions in the country. Staying at your home made it even better. Your home was perfect for a couple or family and true to your listing photos. We would hike and explore the park/region then return back to an impeccably clean abode for dinners and easy walks to Bar Harbor. I say let’s do it all over again. We would return in a heart beat! Acadia National Park Trip

Rented this place in Bar Harbor and everything was great. It was so nice to have room to spread out and not feel cramped. The place had exactly what we had hoped for and more. You could walk to shops, restaurants and the water. It even had a porch where we sat to enjoy drinks and the sunny late afternoons. I would definitely return to this residence should we return to Bar Harbor.

Perfect Retreat

We rent vacation rentals many times throughout the year, and this home was absolutely the cleanest we have ever stayed in...like not a speck of dust anywhere! Excellent place! Awesome location!

This property is amazing. Very nice furnishings and very clean. It had everything we could possibly need. At first I was a little worried about other renters being in the other portions of the house (as we usually rent an entire house or property), but this was no problem at all. We barely could even tell anyone else was on the property. The location was just amazing. Stayed all week and never paid for parking one time. Walked to every store, restaurant, bike rental we visited. Driving into the park was quick and easy too whether you entered by Kebo St onto the one-way section of the loop road or went in via Eagle Lake Rd onto the two-way section. Not sure when we'll get to go back, but when we do I will definitely check the availability of this rental first. Never met the owners, but there was really no need to. Everything was smooth and easy and they communicated everything I needed to know. Made some great memories. Would go back tomorrow if we could!

Pristine, cute apartment with great access to Bar Harbor

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kim and Doug's place! This place was extremely comfortable and immaculate when we checked in, couldn't have asked for more. It's located in a quiet, residential neighborhood street, just off Cottage Street but still very convenient to walk downtown for shopping, restaurants and exploring. We had everything we needed here and really appreciated the washer/dryer for taking care of hiking clothes after a long day out in Acadia. Enjoyed the early mornings being able to walk around town with no crowds and enjoyed the proximity to many great restaurants so we could walk everywhere. Communication with owners was great and they provided a very comfortable, well-cared for place with thoughtful touches (extra extension cords, blankets (we didn't need them), full kitchen with utensils, etc., plenty of towels). Would stay here again for sure and no hesitation to recommend it - lovely apartment with attentive, gracious hosts. A nice find in Bar Harbor for sure!

INCREDIBLE Home Away From Home

First of all, the location was fantastic! Dead center in town but off on a small side street, we had our own parking space alloted only to us. We were equidistance between the downtown boat docks & the main shopping & restaurant areas.

Undeniably Perfect

When I first viewed this property to potentially book our stay, I was skeptical when I saw there were hundreds of reviews and they were all 10/10. But all of the reviews were accurate. It is in the perfect location, which is quiet and out of the way. But it's close enough to downtown that you can walk to everything. In addition, the house was stocked with miscellaneous items (foil, salt and pepper, pasta, pasta sauce, first aid kit) so that you didn't have to go to the supermarket immediately upon arrival. My wife and I are definitely planning on coming back and staying here again.

Cute home in great location

We could easily walk to everything in Bar Harbor and were a short drive from Acadia National Park. We enjoyed kayaking & biking with Coastal Kayaking Tours and hiking on Cadillac Mountain. We had coffee and breakfast around the corner at Slice of Eden. The home had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. We were happy to have AC in the bedroom, although the window unit was a bit noisy turning on & off during the night. I would recommend this rental and would gladly stay there again!

Great location. Clean and well managed.

This is our second time at this property; we liked it so much that we came back. The location is great (it saves a lot of money not to have to pay the city on-street parking fees). The apartment was immaculately clean and well furnished. The owner stocked all kinds of things you may have forgotten. Communication with the owner was pleasant. It was a quiet, comfortable place. Plenty of space. We highly recommend!

Starting the summer off in Maine

My husband and I spent four days in Bar Harbor at this great place. The location was perfect. We simply walked a few blocks down into town. The unit was well equipped. We were well rested to start the day thanks to a comfortable bed. We were very thankful for the off the road parking too. The unit is one of several in the converted home so you may hear the footsteps of those upstairs, but again, this place has all the great features for any Bar Harbor rental. We would recommend and stay again in a heartbeat. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
