What a “DREAM!”

We could not have asked for a better place for our vacation! The location to parks was great, offered so much space, the pool was great for dipping our tired feet in after long days and the beds left us rested and ready for our next day! We loved the layout of the condo but didn't care for the mini furniture everything was to low to the floor, not a lot of cookware provided to meet all of your cooking needs, and towels were a bit worn out.

Micky's Dream House

The property was great - We were not there for Disney and the home screams Disney....LOL the location was quiet and neighborly - a little off the path and was about a 10 minute drive to get out of the complex and to the main roads. The pool was not heated so we used the club pool instead which had limited seating around it. We also purchased pool towels to use - the towels at the unit were more bath towels. We could not adjust the temp in the unit and it could get chilly but not bad enough for us to reach out to Carla for suggestions. We would have loved a K-Cup Coffee Maker or filters for the coffee maker and better pots and pans to cook with. The ones in the unit were very worn and nonstick was all scratched - we ate in since most of the local restaurants in the area were fast food or chains we did not like to eat at. Beds were firm and very low so not great for older adults. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Very pleasant stay

The townhouse was just as listed. The kitchen needed a few basic things to be able to prepare meals but they were easily purchased at the nearby Walmart. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. The pool heater didn't work but we were refunded the fee for heating. We were disappointed that within the entire month of our stay there was no effort to fix the heater. 4 stars for cleanliness because the carpet had not been vacuumed and had a lot of debris including plastic price tags, fuzz and general debris tracked in. My husband cleaned the filter of the vacuum and preceeded to collect almost a full canister. At least there was a working vacuum to use. Overall this is a good rental.

4 star accommodations with 5 star service

The house was new, clean, modern and we loved the Mickey theme throughout. Our dog felt at home very shortly after arriving. The neighborhood was nice and quiet, and the kids loved the community pool. Most importantly, the owner was amazing in responding to emails and accommodating our family. The cons: getting to the townhouse community from the main road was a bit weird. When you turn off of the main road into the neighborhood, you have a good 5 min drive through other communities that kind of threw us off. So be prepared. The beds in the townhouse were not the most comfortable, but for a short stay; we were fine. Finally, the house only has basic channels so if you want to watch more tv than that, travel with your Amazon Fire or Roku stick. We were not in town for theme parks so we were home a little more than someone that is doing that type of vacay. Overall, I would absolutely recommend the house! Again, the owner is awesome.

Good Location

In a good location for us. Pictures were accurate. My husband and I stayed for a month and saw family and friends in all directions. Our daughter, husband and 2 grandsons came for a week and close proximity to Disney and Legoland. Townhouse was very clean. Older model that could use some updates. Appliances were newer and in good working condition. Hot water and good pressure in the showers and sinks. Mattresses are on platforms so they are hard. 2 twin beds and 2 full size- no queen size! we had some issues when we got there, lock was broken on patio door, kitchen faucet leaked. These were taken care of asap. The ripped screen in the master bedroom my husband ducktaped for the time being. Enough plates, silverware for 6…..but just enough. The kids were only there a week so no problem. Towels are rather ratty. The WiFi kept coming and going. Even when watching a movie the tv would cut out. I could text and email on my iPhone, but phone calls would cut out in the house. Not strong enough I guess. As someone else stated not enough comfy furniture. Only the couch is comfortable. But we had a good time! Clubhouse pool and hot tub very nice. Weight room and free video games with ping pong was fun for the kids. Pool in patio was good too. Has jets but not as powerful as hot tub. The weather was warm/hot so having the water a little on the cool side was fine for us. You have to call the property manager to change the temp in the house, you cannot do it yourself. Same with turning on the jets in the patio pool.

Great stay for Disney Trip

My mother, husband, two little girls, and I stayed at the DreamHouse for our first trip to Disney. We loved the home’s layout and amenities. Carla was very communicative and I appreciate her responding to messages on a holiday weekend while we were preparing to travel and traveling. We have already recommended the property to several friends and family members!

Good location! Owner very helpful! Management Company leaves much to be desired!

Very well located for all your needs. The layout of the unit is very positive! The furniture and beds were in good shape and comfortable. The pots and pans were very old and sparse. Glasses were cracked and chipped. Kitchen utensils were pretty much none existent. The hands on management is a real concern in matters of cleanliness and responsiveness. On check-in I found blood stains on the outside of a toilet, long black hair on shower walls and on the lower level tile floors. I called and they sent someone over to clean. We stayed for a month, so we washed the bed linens. The zippered mattress cover for our bed had urine stains, that obviously were never laundered. Their response was that they didn’t have time to launder, which was obviously an excuse since they were old stains. They gave us new mattress pads for us to put on the bed. The unit came with three bicycles; one had flat tires. I called and they took it for repairs on Thursday with a promise to return on Saturday. Three weeks later and still not returned; even though they kept saying it would be returned. They did provide new glasses after I reported the cracked and chipped. Knowing what I know…… would I rent this unit from Carla again? Yes! Looking beyond the management, Carla was very easy to work with, made the experience very easy. Just hope she holds the management teams feet to the fire for her clients.

The property was great. Exactly like pictured. Some glitches upon arrival as no info received beforehand on password for wifi, pool was not heated as paid for, and no magnetic key for community pool at premises. There were no numbers to contact property management to be found. Once we were able to get hold of owner and get info, property management worked with us to solve issues. It would be nice to have phone numbers, as well as some general area information such as medical, food, etc available for customers. Did enjoy this property and would return again.

Hello Colleeen; Thank you very much for your feedback. With this information we can try to improve the experience of the next guests. We are very sorry for any inconvenience you may have experienced. However, all information about the use of the property as management contacts, wifi password and especially the entry code were sent to your email prior to your check in on January 24 and still contained in the Welcome Guide sent by HomeAway 10 days before of your check in. We really don't understand what may have happened. =( We believe that this email has been received and read by the guest, without which entry into the house would be impossible. Even so, we were happy that after our telephone contact, the issues were resolved. Finally, we would like to point out that pets are very welcome in the house, as long as previously informed, as it is necessary to hire a special cleaning for the comfort of the next guest. ;) We look forward to your new stay with us soon. Could have been better

When we first arrived, the place was like an oven. We tried to adjust the temperature but the thermostat is in a lock box. I had to call the number & pay long distance charges. I had to call twice before anyone would answer. Then I found out that if I wanted to change the temperature, I would have to text the person and they would do it. Second, the upstairs toilet would not stop running, had to text the person again and the following day a plumber came out to fix it. Third, the ice maker in the freezer did not work. Fourth, no kettle. Fifth, the beds were very uncomfortable and so low to that you felt like you were sleeping on the floor. Lastly, the community pool was not heated and very cold. We were hoping to spend a lot of time there and soak in the sun and meet people but that was not the case. I e-mailed the company and they never got back to me. On a positive, the place was very clean, good wifi. We have rented in this complex for 4 years and this was the worst experience we have had.

Disney property

The property is all the way in the back of the development which is nice because not a lot of traffic but also takes awhile to get back there. The kitchen needs a few more bigger bowls and frying pans. We did have a few issues with the first floor bathroom and the twin bathroom. Carla was quick to get back to us and the property manager did contact us about the issues. Overall we would come back if we needed a place to stay and visit our family.

Great place to stay

Three bedrooms along with three bedrooms. Kitchen is stocked with the necessities. Large refrigerator for grocery store purchases. This is the second time we've stayed here. We have no problem coming back again.

Great location and convenient access to theme parks

Had a great stay at the Disney Dream House! The townhouse is located about 10-15 minutes from Disney and it was easy to get to all the theme parks. The location is also very close to grocery stores and restaurants. I was worried about noise from the other units, but we never heard anything from any of the neighbors or other units. Carla, the owner was very accomodating of my dogs and it was great to be able to take the dogs on vacation. The pups had a wonderful time lounging in the house and relaxing by the pool. Renada, the property manager, was terrific and walked the dogs for us while we were at the parks. Highly suggest hiring Renada for dog walks if you are planning on bringing your pups. As one of the other reviewers noted, our only issue with the rental were the beds, they were hard as a rock. Just a suggestion to bring your own pillows/blankets, as well as toilet paper and other basic necessities. The townhouse had plenty of plates, glasses, and other kitchen appliances (coffee maker, waffle maker, etc.), but make sure you bring laundry/dishwasher detergent if you want to wash anything. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed a quiet, relaxing vacation at the Disney Dream House, highly recommend!
