WELCOME TO ISLAND OASIS! This breathtaking first floor unit in the sought after Pelican Cove condominium complex is located in an amazing setting with extensive tropical landscaping thru out. At Island Oasis you will have a stunning view of the beautiful Caribbean sea and you will be just steps from the soft white sand of the beach. The amenities at Pelican Cove are second to none, boasting an amazing pool (one of the largest in St Croix), a tennis court and restaurant right next door, and a great location just minutes from Christiansted and Frederiksted. The island is surrounded by beautiful beaches where you can swim, snorkel, scuba dive, jet ski or just relax and soak up the sun! There are wonderful golf courses, hiking trails and many other activities, also.

At Island Oasis every possible effort is made to ensure your comfort, relaxation and enjoyment from the moment you open the door. Mattresses ordered from the 5 star Bellagio resort, china to enjoy the fine Cruzan meals you prepare, an assortment of cocktail glasses to enjoy the libations you create on those beautiful Caribbean days and nights; all the kitchen tools that a gourmet cook would demand; a keypad lock programmed with your own personal code so no worries about keys; flat screen tv, free wifi, decor and views that will make you want to stay forever! Owner visits to the property are frequent, so rest assured that everything will be in top notch shape upon your arrival.

The floor plan at Island Oasis encompasses 1250 square feet with an open spacious layout and nine foot ceilings. The master bedroom features a king size bed, walk in closet and full en-suite bath with an additional separate sink/vanity area. Open the sliding doors and let the soft sound of the waves lull you to sleep. The guest bedroom offers two twin beds which can be converted to a king size, a walk in closet and full bath with shower. All towels (beach and bath) and linens (including Egyptian cotton sheets) are provided for you. The kitchen is complete to make a full gourmet meal, a few tropical drinks, and a cappuccino/expresso maker. The outdoor gallery is approximately 30 feet by 10 feet with exits from the living room and master bedroom and a stunning view of palm trees, sea and sand. Just sit back, relax and stay awhile!

Island Oasis is unique in that it is located in a quiet and safe residential neighborhood on a gated 5 acre, lush, tropical, beachfront property. The grounds and amenities are always immaculate beckoning you to enjoy all there is to offer! Don't be surprised if one of the staff cuts down a coconut for you to enjoy by the beach or pool!

The Island of St Croix offers a multitude of outdoor activities, fabulous golf, amazing diving, beaches, shopping and world class restaurants. The beaches are indescribably beautiful and are free for all to enjoy. Just pack up for the day and take an adventure to a private cove or beach and enjoy the sun, sparkling waters and the quiet lap of the waves drifting in. Most roads are paved so navigating around the island is reasonably easy. Road signs can be misleading so having a GPS can make your adventure a bit smoother.

The people of St Croix are incredibly friendly and eager to help you plan your day or suggest some little known places to explore or visit. Their helpful ways, bright smiles and easy going, relaxed attitude will make the memories of your island adventure last a lifetime!

St. Croix Oasis

Our family had a wonderful time staying here and vacationing in St. Croix! The condo was large and perfect for a family of 4. It was well stocked with supplies, which saved us trips to the store. We enjoyed eating breakfast and lunch on the porch. It was so nice to swim in the pool in the late afternoon after returning from our excursions. The pool was large and had plenty of seating.

Great Condo!

Beautiful first floor condo with all the amenities. The pool is huge and has plenty of chairs tables, etc. Grounds are well kept and employees are very very nice. The condo is supplied with everything, you just need to bring yourself and your luggage! We would definitely stay at Island Oasis in the future.

Lovely place to stay in St. Croix

Island Oasis is a lovely condo. It's peaceful and quiet with a gorgeous large lap pool and hot tub and it's on the ocean! The beach is rocky, but there is a number of water shoes in the condo & snorkeling gear. There are nice chairs on the beach to relax on. Cynthia is a great host. She went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a relaxing visit to St. Croix.

Came to St. Croix for a nice winter vacation with my wife and 2 teenagers. The property is great -- 1st floor of bustling condo right on the beach (you can hear waves hitting the shore with open windows!) The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to prep food. There was enough towels/etc to make your stay great. Coolers, beach chairs, even a fishing rod! Cynthia was very responsive and adapted to our request to stay an extra hour at the end of our reservation. Overall a great stay and a great recommendation!

The Best

This is by far the nicest property we have ever booked anywhere in the Caribbean or in the US. The grounds were gorgeous, the other year round property owners were welcoming and very helpful. The workers were friendly and the pool was fantastic. The owners of our condo had everything you could want at our fingertips. Our view from our porch included the grounds, and the breaking waves from the bay. It could not have been better.

Excellent Unit and Experience

We had an excellent stay for about 10 days at this awesome unit. The unit was even better than described with every item stocked, including dishes, beach towels and coolers. Very good location with a beach at the next property (but to fully explore, you will want to hit as many beaches as you can). The location is awesome, being about 20 or so minutes from the airport with plenty of parking and easy in and easy out. The restaurant next-door must have improved, because our experience there was good. I do wish they were open during the day though. Cynthia was terrific in communicating during our stay, including a last minute, couple of hour extension, which was no problem. I would not hesitate to return for another vacation to this exact unit.

Couldn't be happier with condo! Due to space limits, sharing bullets:- thorough/helpful welcome guide- spacious unit, nice couch/chair setup large TV perfect for family movie nights- wifi excellent- showers hot good pressure even using both showers at same time- using front back screen doors overhead fans created nice cross-breeze, so even in 80's, only used A/C 2 nights- perfect central location (10 min to big stores, 30 min to Fredriksted in west, 30 min to Point Udall in east)- Neighborhood around condos good for running- Beach awesome - 5 min walk to left for waste deep swimming 15 feet from shore snorkeling paradise 30-50 feet off shore to rock/coral shelf- pool has 25 yard lap lanes for proper swim workout - maybe temporary but water greenish/didn't seem to have enough chlorine- plenty of privacy between units no noises through walls- clean/nicely maintained- well-equipped: 4 beach chairs, 2 camp chairs, 3 coolers various sizes, several snorkels/fins, pool floats, beach towels, every kitchen item you could need, plenty of staples (seasonings, condiments, ziplocs, paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, dishwasher detergent, dish soap, etc.)- small ants that are just part of island life, so have to keep dry food tied in bags and keep kitchen clean...never saw ants outside main kitchen area simple enough to wipe away when we saw them. What a great property and superb rental experience! My wife and I have traveled extensively in the Caribbean dealing with time share exchanges, hotels and resorts and private rentals and this was definitely one of our best overall experiences to date. First and foremost, from the very first contact, our dealings with the owner were first class. She responded to my email inguiries almost before I sent them, and always with patience and a sense of humor. Everything about the arrangements was handled in a professional fashion while at the same time making us feel at home and comfortable from the moment we arrived on the island. The unit is located in a small condominium complex on the north shore of the Island. The complex has a nice beach of its own and snorkeling is reputed to be decent on the reef here, although the northerly winds while we were there made us seek out other snorkeling spots in more protected locations. We did some beach sitting (chairs were readily available) and were often the only ones on the beach. The pool and the grounds were both extremely nice and immaculately maintained. The unit itself was even better than advertised, very spacious, nicely furnished and stocked with more kitchen euipment, beach gear, towels etc. than we could have used in a month. The location of the property is fantastic, though I feel that you really do need to have a rental car for at least part of your visit to take full advantage of the island. Most of our time was spent snorkeling, diving and exploring the island, and while I will be the first to admit that one week is a very short time for making a judgement, I believe that one would be hard pressed to find another unit and location that combines the convenience, safety, small scale, and beauty that this spot has. When you put the physical attributes of the property together with with the winning attitude and professional treatment that the owner provided, I don't think you could find a better deal anywhere else on St. Croix and I believe we were "lucky" to have spent some time at this gem.

Island Oasis - Pelican Cove Condo's - St. Croix USVI

My husband and I arrived on Friday March 1st for a one month vacation at the Island Oasis and was impressed from the moment we walked through the door. The unit was super clean and everything was exactly as we expected from the pictures on the vrbo site. The view, even though we were on the 1st level was spectacular and the outdoor furniture was used every day. It was nice to just sit out or relax on the lounger reading a book. The condo staff worked hard Monday to Friday to maintain the grounds and the grounds were beautiful and everyone was helpful answering any questions. Cynthia assisted me before and during our holiday with questions which made our vacation stress free. The other owners and renters at this complex were wonderful people and we made great friends. We loved that we could walk next door to the Palms Restaurant/Bar or two doors down at the H2O Restaurant/Bar. I would highly recommend going to the Pickled Greek for their famous homeade Baklava Ice Cream and you must try a Bushwacker drink (yummy). We travelled the entire island in a jeep that we rented and had a blast..you can't get lost and anyone will give you directions...the beaches are beautiful as well. The best thing that we loved was that we did not have any vendors approach us anywhere to buy their wares...this was a plus to us. We went to the St. Patrick's day parade and had so much fun. We are definately going to return to this condo complex next year. Cynthia's unit was well equipped with everything that you would ever want in a condo with extras. The coolers were definately a plus. If you do plan to go to the island bring some water shoes to walk the beach as some areas are a little rocky and if you are a walker bring your runners. Look up Poppa John who does hiking tours. We ate at Breezees, Rumrunner, The Mermaid at the Buccaneer resort and Tutto Bene's and all the food was fabulous and we had great meals at the Palms next door...the lobster is fantastic and their carrot and coconut cake are to die for. We are looking forward to our next trip and a big thanks to Cynthia for providing such a well equipped unit and showing how passionate she was to ensure that our trip was the best it could be. All I can say is this was one of the best relaxing vacations we have had in a long time with great people....It was EXCEPTIONAL

Cynthia’s piece of paradise

Cynthia was very communicative, and we loved her apartment, however, the beach was not the best, we have to visit a lot of nearby beaches that fill my expectations, Cramer beach was the winner in Christiansted and Marley beach at fredericstead, both not really far nor close either , about 20 and 35 minutes driving,but despite of it we have a great time there. Nice property

Property borders Caribbean coast. Pool and hot tub available for guests. Nice restaurant nearby. The unit was clean and well furnished. Kitchen and washer/dryer were in our unit. Very nice for our family group of 4

Great location, has everything you need!

We loved the location. It’s centrally located to easily see entire island. It’s not within walking distance of much but we got a rental car and were always on the move so didn’t bother us. Condo was clean and had everything we needed. Beach sand was nice, in the water was rocky but a short walk next door it was less rocky. Place was very quiet. The hotel next door has a restaurant and bar if you didn’t want to venture out. We had no bugs in condo but mosquitos on back patio, there was a citronella candle that helped. Drinking our morning coffee was fun while watching lots of hermit crabs below the patio. The condo had everything we needed and worked well for us and our 2 yr old. Cynthia had checked in with us before our trip and even called once we arrived to make sure we got there. The directions to condo could use a little updating because some of the signs referenced are faded and are not legible, but google maps kind of works. Overall great stay and would book this condo again when we come back to St Croix.

Lovely condo - Really enjoyed our stay!

Condo was perfect. It was very clean and well stocked, and updated and well decorated. There was everything we needed for a day at the beach too - chairs, coolers, snorkeling gear. I traveled with my 80+ year old mother and she could easily access the pool and the beach. The pool is huge and beautiful. We were often the only ones there. We also never saw anyone else at the beach. The grounds were well kept and the groundkeepers were friendly & helpful. The property is gated and quiet and safe. We loved it. Definitely recommend and hope to stay again.

Wonderful Week in Paradise

My husband and I booked this property for seven nights after seeing all of the amazing reviews, and as you can tell by our rating, it did not disappoint! The host is very responsive and easy to communicate with. The condo is very spacious and has everything from kitchen utensils, cleaning supplies, beach towels, and even snorkel gear (we snorkeled every single day we could). The view is of the beautiful grounds and the beach that it leads to. The beach right there is beautiful, but it is not swimmable; however, if you walk a couple hundred yards to the left, you can swim and sunbathe with ease! We rented a car from Drew with Judi of St. Croix for the week. He made it so easy to pick the car up and drop it off at the airport. We highly recommend doing this! The best part about the condo is it’s relatively centralized location. It is so easy to go into Christiansted or Frederiksted to visit other beaches or restaurants. Here are some of our favorites: • Issac Bay (east): You have to “hike” to get to this one, but it is an easy walk on a dirt trail. The bay is beautiful! The water is crystal clear and easy to snorkel, though there weren’t many creatures. Bring water and snacks! • Frederiksted Pier (west): This was our absolute favorite place to snorkel! We saw too many species of beautiful fish to count, along with a sea turtle. People have also spotted stingrays here, but we didn’t get to see one. After snorkeling for a while on multiple days, we’d climb back up the rocks and go to the nearby restaurants. Bring wet socks/water shoes! • Mermaid beach (Buccaneer Hotel). The hotel is gated, but the beaches on the island are public, just let the guard know that you’re going to the beach. • Grocery store: The Market St. Croix has many options • Food: there are many great restaurants that easily accommodate for different food preferences or allergies on the Christiansted boardwalk and in Frederiksted. We enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to explore more of the Virgin Islands! Please keep in mind that coral reefs are in danger and need to be protected. An easy way to do this is by using reef-safe sunscreen if you apply any before going to the beach :)

We love being able to see and hear the ocean from our home. Island Oasis is only steps from the ocean and the beautiful pool. Island Oasis is one of 47 units in Pelican Cove and everyone is friendly and welcoming. Pelican Cove Condominiums are in a gated, secure area in a very quiet neighborhood. There is a restuarant in walking distance and several close by, just minutes by vehicle.

Most guests comment that Island Oasis has a very homey feel and has everything you will need on your vacation. We try to keep the full kitchen stocked with coffee, tea and many other staples. The pool and grounds are beautifully landscaped and the swimable beach is just a few minute walk. We love sitting on our gallery looking at the ocean waves and hope you will too!
