This cabin was the ideal spot for us. The house was large. Everything needed in the kitchen was there. The hot tub was wonderful!

Perfect launching point for Yellowstone NP

Really clean and comfortable for two large families. Kids had a great time in the hot tub and playing in the loft game room.

Great to work with. Kitchen was well equipped and everything was super clean. Great place has everything you need. Security cameras do feel a little invasive.

Outstanding stay. House was perfect for our family group of 11. Relatively easy access to Yellowstone. We got up early enough every day to beat the crowds. Kids loved the hot tub every day after long days of hiking. Couldn't really think of anything to make it better. Outstanding in every respect.

Undisclosed hidden camera overlooking back of house & hot tub

My husband discovered a hidden camera disguised inside a birdhouse mounted in a tree in the backyard. The camera was wired and positioned to face the entire back side of the cabin, capturing:- The two-story wall of windows with full visibility into the living room, kitchen, and upstairs landing- The back patio, including the grill and hot tub area- Any activity occurring in the backyardThis camera was never disclosed at any point in the booking or check-in process. The presence of an undisclosed surveillance device facing private areas of the home where guests reasonably expect privacy—particularly the hot tub and large windows—was a gross invasion of our privacy and made us feel extremely uncomfortable, unsafe, and violated.As a mother, I felt especially distressed knowing my teenage daughters were being unknowingly watched while in their swimsuits in the hot tub area. Had we known there was a camera, we would have never booked this property. We spent the remainder of our stay uneasy and unable to relax, which defeated the purpose of what was meant to be a special family vacation.

Thank you for your feedback. We're genuinely sorry to hear that your experience didn’t meet expectations, and we want to assure you—and future guests—that we take all concerns seriously. We were especially surprised by the comments regarding the camera, as we never received any communication from you during your 6-night stay. Our team is available 24/7, and we proactively send messages via email, the booking platform, and text with our direct contact information, encouraging guests to reach out immediately if anything feels off or needs attention. Six days is a long time to feel uncomfortable without reaching out, and unfortunately, we only learned of your concern after your stay had ended—making it impossible for us to address it in the moment or help you feel more at ease. When we did speak with you, you shared that the home was “perfect and beautiful,” and that your only concern had been the presence of a camera. To clarify for future guests: the camera in question was installed inside a decorative birdhouse, mounted approximately 20 feet up in a tree, and was originally used for exterior surveillance during the owner's absence. It was physically rendered inoperable over two years ago when we took over management of the property by cutting the visibly seen cables. Its location made removal difficult without damaging the birdhouse itself. That said, we have since removed the birdhouse entirely, as we never want a guest to feel uncomfortable—even from something that was non-functional and long forgotten. We also want to note that no other guest has ever expressed concern about it before. As a property management company, we take great pride in offering a welcoming and responsive experience. Once we were made aware of your concern, we did everything we could to make things right—even after your departure. We appreciate the opportunity to continue learning and improving, and we thank you again for staying with us.
