Would have given 5 stars on cleanliness but it wasn’t perfect. Smell of cigarette smoke greeted us upon entry. Luckily we could open windows and the weather was cooperative. Furniture was shabby but the mattress was fabulous! Slept really well but maybe do a refresh on sheets and furniture covers. Host was perfect in communication. The location. Wowee. It was a 10. It could not be better. Right on the beach. Watched the sunrise in the morning on the balcony. East location to get to other places we wanted to visit. Convenient to airport, 23 minutes. Just a quaint beach condo. Friendly, helpful neighbors. Would absolutely stay here again.

Best place to stay

We only stayed for 3 nights and it was hard to leave. It was a very nice condo and had everything you needed . We walked to all the major attractions stores and restaurants. The beach was only feet from the condo and the pool was also just a couple of steps away. The owner was just great. Just an email away and quick to respond. I cant say enough good things it was that great. Thank you for one of the best vacations we have ever had. Memories we will have forever.

Great Stay in beautiful condo

The experience was great. Condo in perfect location, good soze gor 2 couples, fully stocked woth what was needed. Only things that we found was a problem with lights kept coming on and off. Internet service on TV gets interrupted some. Overall stay was pleasent and view was amazing!!!! Definitely coming back.

Right on the beach!

Great condo right on a busy part of the beach close to everything in OOB. Love the balcony. You can enjoy live music from next door from the balcony, pool area or beach. Saw dolphins out in the water, bring binoculars! The kitchen is small but has everything you'll need and then some! Spectacular view from inside with the front bedroom doors open to the living room so you can see out both sliding doors. Parking garage is very tight. Helpful to have a spotter outside the car. It is nice to have your vehicle in a locked space.

Great place!

We stayed at this condo for the first time. We were looking for a place last minute, and surprisingly it was available the week we had time off. It was hard to see by the pictures how it was, but it had our basic requirements, so we took a chance. I am so glad we did! Condo logistics: Two bedrooms, Two baths. The beds were comfy, ceiling fans in all rooms. It is not a huge place but so efficiently designed that 5 of us were completely comfy there. Sofa does not pull out, but it worked for us anyway. The parking garage is tight but nice to load and unload in bad weather. We had an extra car so we purchased a temporary overnight parking permit in Milliken St Parking lot. The location is unbeatable...just far enough away from the pier but close enough to walk easily. The Brunswick next door has good food and great entertainment. You do not have to go over there to listen to the outside bands. As far as noise, yes you can hear the bands, but really with the doors closed it is pretty quiet if needed. The back deck is perfect. You get that beach experience all from a private balcony...or just down the stairs, and you are right on the beach in seconds.

Devastating

On April 28th I received confirmation of my booking and I paid in full for the accommodation. On 7/26, I received an email confirmation of my upcoming trip and upon arrival, I was devastated to learn that the unit was given to another family. The owner was useless and left us to fend for ourselves. Although I called VRBO immediately they left us stranded for hours in 90 degree weather. Hours on the phone and It wasn't until 8:38 PM that I was given a hotel accommodation that was 30 minutes away. The following morning, I called VRBO and was told that I had to check out of the hotel and they would look for another place for us to stay. I continued to call to check on the status and the rep kept telling us, sorry nothing yet, call back in 2 hours. The entire experience was frightening and sadly the owner and VRBO will not own up to their error.

Perfect location with the BEST view!!

First off, Shana, the owner of this condo was very easy to contact- which is a plus. There is a little general store right below which is super convenient, and the gentleman is very friendly and helpful. The private parking garage is a bit tricky but we loved having our vehicle safe in a locked location. There is a washer and dryer off the parking garage, free for guests & very clean. The appliances were all newer and clean! The grounds are kept in great condition. This is an older unit, but is decorated cute and beachy! There was a slight old cigarette odor but after you open up the sliding glass doors to your DOUBLE PATIO that is directly overlooking beautiful Old Orchard beach, you’ll forget all about it. The unit is perfect for 4- 6 people. Beds are a little older, but overall it was comfortable. Fireworks Thursday nights right in front of you! The rooftop pool that overlooks the bands playing next door at the Brunswick, let’s you watch all the entertainment- the noise levels were perfectly acceptable for the location we were in- it quieted down on weekdays we spent there, Friday night was a bit later for the noise to quiet down. I’ve been coming to OOB for years, this is probably one of the absolute best places to stay in OOB period- we wanted to be close to the pier and the ocean and were we ever!! The minor shortcomings in this rental are easily dismissed because of the VIEW and the LOCATION with this unit are EVERYTHING!!! Highly recommend this awesome place!

Nice place

The location was wonderful it was very clean but unfortunately we had to buy our own toilet paper paper towels and trash bags because there was no extra. Also I had a conversation with the owner about bringing my 10 pound well-behaved hypoallergenic dog and it seemed from our conversation that no dogs were allowed there at all on the premises but when we arrived there were several people there with dogs we messaged the owners and we were told that only the owners were allowed to bring their dogs so we had the owners next to us that had a dog that barked constantly so that wasn’t very enjoyable especially when we were allowed to bring our dog. I feel as though if owners are allowed to bring their dog they should be able to give permission for renters to have their dog and have a fee for the dog and if fee if there’s any damage due to the dogs only reason I will not be staying here again is due to the fact that I feel that’s unfair that some people can bring their dogs and others can’t. Other than that the beds are comfortable the place is clean and it is a great location

Perfect spot not to far from everything but far enough away it wasn’t crowded. Super convenient for the store right below and the guy was great! Very clean and perfect 2 bedroom condo with a ocean front balcony. Definitely recommend and enjoyed our stay very much! Food is delicious in the area as well!

Ocean breezes

The owner was extremely prompt in communications and even mailed back some forgotten items we left behind. It's downtown Old Orchard in June so it's going to be busy but sitting on the deck with the waves just a few yards away are perfect. The front bedroom cold use a new mattress as well as some shades on the French doors leading in from the livingroom but overall the place was very comfortable.

Sweet & Salty

I just got back from 5 wonderful days in a sweet, breezy condo, right on the salty ocean beach! There was a birthday party and there were 3-5 sleeping over each night...and still plenty of room for 6!! Left the sliders open and fell asleep to the waves...woke up to gorgeous sand and sun. Heated pool right outside the condo which we all had a blast in, weather cold or not. Great area for food and shops! And really nice locals!! Our contact was very patient with me trying to figure out the tv. It took about an hour, but I finally got it Lol 😆 Thank you Shana😁 The big porch was an amazing place to find myself again, realign and heal.

This is our second yeast staying here,! We have been vacationing Orchard Beach for over 20 years. It has an incredible view! Great location! Does have a cigarette Oder, but kept windows open, and it wasn’t too bad! Will definitely be returning again!

Great location and perfect for a trip to the beach.

We stayed here with another couple on our anniversary trip. I read all the prior reviews and we were aware of the music next door and the parking issue. First the condo was exactly as described and was identical to photos on line. The beds were very comfortable and the condo extremely clean. E loved it. I would recommend that you bring some additional towels and wash clothes. We only had one wash cloth and one towel per person. The other issue, which is my fault, there was no elevator. My husband is handicapped and he had a hard time with the stairs. Lastly when it says the garage is tiny, it means extremely small. We were in a van and it was almost impossible the first day. We arrived on a Saturday and I think most everyone went home on Sunday. We were there September 15 for 4 nights. The season ends there on the 15th. Once we had the garage to ourselves it was perfect. Just beware of car size and garage. Thank you for sharing your condo with us. It was a wonderful get away for us.

Wonderful unit with amazing views, listen to the waves all night!

Our 2nd year in a row in this unit, feels a bit like home. Clean, bright 2 bedroom, although our preteen girls loved sleeping on the balcony every night in their sleeping bags. Nothing between the balcony and the ocean but sand! Kitchen is well supplied with utensils and pans. Everything in the unit worked well. The outdoor pool is three steps from the door, too. So close to the amusement park, arcades and the pier, walk there in about 2 minutes. No need to drive all week if you don't want. The only things preventing 5 stars are as follows; the parking spot is difficult, but manageable. I drove a Honda Ridgeline pickup, and had a hard time squeezing into the spot in the indoor garage. Bring a small car if you can. A large pickup or a van likely wouldn't fit in the spot. Secondly, is the late-night noise from The Brunswick outdoor bar directly next door. Music abounds day and night, which I enjoyed, however the drunkenness and rowdies on the beach can make it a bit difficult to sleep. The beach in front of this unit is brightly lit all night by spotlights from The Brunswick, so partiers from the bar tend to hang out on the sand, sometimes right outside the unit. Closing the 2 sliders to the deck blocks most of the noise, but you then can't hear the waves. Overall, we love this place. We're late-night folks, and our kids are a little older ( 9 and 10), and slept out on the balcony right through all the noise. If you don't mind a little late-night activities out on the beach, this is an incredible place to stay. We plan to return again, and love Old Orchard. We rode our bikes everywhere, spent a day in Portland, where we rode our bikes to Fort Williams Park. We rode bikes to Ocean Park, got ice cream and lime rickys and played a great game of shuffleboard. We drove over to Camp Ellis, played on the getty, and rented poles and fished off the rocks and docks. At Camp Ellis, they have para-sailing, jet-ski rentals, and they'll tow you around the ocean in a banana boat! We've been home 4 days now, and miss this place terribly. Book it if you can, rather expensive, but so worth it!

A beautiful condo perfect for my family walking distance to everything view was beautiful steps from the beach owner was very helpful when i lost my key she resolved my problem in just a short time the guy who runs the store below our condo Eric was a nice very helpful person I would definitely stay here again
