Dieses kleine Häuschen ist das Herzstück von allem. Es liegt an der Hauptstraße der East Grand Avenue mit dem 11 km langen Strand auf der Rückseite des Cottages. Nach einem 7-minütigen Spaziergang erreichen Sie das berühmte OOB Palace Playland (NUR Strandvergnügen in New England!). Warum Kreisen und Kreisen mit Ihrem Auto, um Parkplätze zu finden und dann für das Parken zu bezahlen, wenn Sie nur so in der Nähe runtergehen können? Das Cottage befindet sich auch in der Nähe von 2 örtlichen Läden, in denen Sie Ihre Grundnahrungsmittel oder mitten in der Nacht Eis kaufen können! Ein neu gebautes Deck für Ihren Familiengenuss. Neue Edelstahlgeräte (Kühlschrank und Herd) wurden ersetzt. Dieses fabelhafte Cottage wurde vor 2 Jahren umfassend renoviert und jährlich gewartet. . Sie haben alles, was Ihre Familie für einen komfortablen Urlaub braucht.

Old Orchard Beach

The picture on VRBO leads you to believe you just go down the pathway shown to get to the beach when you are actually in a neighborhood and have to walk down the street to get to the beach. The house was very clean and both beds were very comfortable. The host was very fast to respond to my messages. Needs clean shower liner. We enjoyed our stay.

Great Little place

It was the perfect little cottage for my family of 5. The kids loved the back yard and the toys. Perfect location right near the beach and not too far from the pier.

Great location and spotless.

It was around the corner from the beach and within walking distance to pier, etc. The house was very clean and well stocked with dishes, etc. I would stay there again.

Slept great, convenient location

Luckily I brought my own washclothes, just tons and tons of towels. Microwave doesnt work, shower needs fresh caulking, new inner li er, it was slippery and moldy looking. The dryer went , noone was able to find, we googled it, upon cleaning, it was chucked full of lint. Not enough silverware, pots and pans were scaped up, but overall, it was clean, beds and pillows were very comfortable, slept great, knowing now what i would need to bring, i would stay again. Certainly not complaining as it may seem, just saying a little more attention is needed for those couple things. Thank you very much , that was it

La plage tout à côté!

La plage est tellement proche de la maison, c’est génial! On n’a pas à trouver un stationnement. On peut revenir dîner à la fraîcheur et retourner à la plage. Il y a plein de choses à distance de marche et des spectacles gratuits dans le parc adjacent au Palace Playland. J’avais lu d’autres avis avant de louer, alors on était prêts avec des masques de sommeil (en raison des stores qui ne sont pas très opaques) et des bouchons, au cas où le bruit nous empêcherait de dormir. Oui il y a un train qui passe à proximité, mais c’est genre vers 23h et 5h du matin. On a tous très bien dormi! La cuisine offre un frigo, un poêle et le nécessaire pour cuisiner. Je recommande chaudement la beach house de Lana!

Clean and Convenient

This cute place was within walking distance to the beach and pier. Parking was easy. We enjoyed a nice sitting area in the back. It was clean and the host was responsive.

Great vacation spot

Stayed here for a few days with my family and had a great time. Location was excellent - steps to the beach, short walk to the pier, and set back just enough from the road to not be bothered by traffic/noise. It's an older place with plenty of quirks, but worked great for what we wanted in a weekend beach house. Discovering the old Disney vhs tapes was a nice surprise as well! The only thing to note is be prepared for poor cell service on a busy weekend, it can make check in a bit tricky if you can't get any messages! Luckily I found a public wifi hotspot nearby so it all worked out.

If you want a nice place in Old Orchard Beach that is close to everything, you'll be very happy if you go with this one. Like I said, it's close to everything, it''s clean and comfortable, and has plenty of parking. My family and I were very pleased with this place and plan to rent it again.

Love the fabulous cottage

We enjoyed our stay at the fabulous cottage. Once we arrived, we didnt use our car because everything is near of the location by walk (2 min to the beach, 8 min to the pier). The cottage was clean and pretty. It’s small but do the job for four people. The host Lanah was perfect. Good communication, very polite. We loved our experience. Thanks again for everything.

A gem of a property in OOB

In the hustle and bustle of the main strip with many hotels/multi unit buildings, this single family residence is set back further off the road minimizing road noise and leaving room for multiple cars to park in front. It was a very short walk to the beach to go for a morning/evening walk/run or spend a good part of the day out in the sun while able to come back to the house for a meal or to use the restroom. Great communication with host. Everything was easy and no issues. Short walk to dining, amusement park, and other attractions as well.

Short birthday getaway

The property was as listed and worked very well for our stay. The owner was extremely responsive! The property was close enough to the ‘action’ that we had a short walk, but far enough away that we didn’t hear ALL the guests at OOB . It is on the main road, so you can expect to hear cars and traffic, but it wasn’t overwhelming. If we plan on coming back, I would seek out this property again.

Portland Stay

Location was good. The house was clean.The beds were very uncomfortable. The lights around the neighbors house that stayed on all night were very bothersome. Better blackout curtains would help with that.The kitchen could use a spatula and better pans. We had a two night stay and only stayed one night.

Basic and Very Clean - Sept is the best!

The beach house is very clean, about 3 houses from the beach and close to many restaurants and shops. We stayed on a Mon - Wed short visit in late Sept. The weather and beach were perfect.Sunny, warm and no crowds. Although the pier, most shops and many restaurants are closed either for the season or until the Thurs -Sun weekend, there was still much to do and great places to eat. We enjoyed The Shack very much and loved Ken's place. Unit has pretty much all you need. It has plenty of bath and beach towels, but does not have wash cloths, hand towels or shower mat. Eating utensils are disposable only. Room for 4 at the kitchen table and 4 more at the picnic bench outside the bedroom door. We didn't have any neighbors on our visit, but if we did, it may have felt uncomfortable as the small deck with picnic table is the end of this property. Good place for 2 - 4 adults. Sleeps more, but with 2 small bedrooms and a small living room/kitchen it could feel crowded if there were more. We would happily stay here again.
